Yeah, especially since the juries placed Cyprus 5th. Meaning people should be even *prouder* of Austria, Sweden, Israel and Germany. Nothing to be proud of both the juries and people had other favorites. End of story.
What are you talking about ? This is the jury voting only, nevertheless most countries who finished in the top 10 gave Cyprus points, and in the public voting even every country did. On the other hand the jury from Cyprus didn't gave the actual winner any point.
At least germany didnt finished last EDIT:I know they have finished far from last,and im very glad because germany has been in top 5 in this eurovision after 8 years.

So many different countries received a 12 points that year! Really happy to see so many surprised happy faces, especially France in the beginning did not see it coming :D Happy for France, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Albania, Estonia, Denmark and the others. Many unexpected choices that are unlikely not political (e.g. 12 points from Ukraine to France or 12 points from Azerbaijan to Albania)
Interesting fact for 1:26 : Germany got their first twelve points after 8 years! (Last one was in 2010, 12 points from Sweden, when Eric Saade revealed the points)
I liked this show 2018 because everybody look so happy with their 12 points whatever place they have. Specially Sweden, they are so happy. I like that so much

I loved the Finish entry too, but.... though it was an energetic song, energy was absent from stage! My country's song was not my cup of tea, but still it impressed so much with staging. That's only my opinion. Love from Cyprus

Maybe next year we will not take part into a contest for chickens, tigers, fireworks, ballet, coerography all but music and words. It's a pity because once more the people from their homes have had a better taste than the supposed competent juries. "We" are not the winners, "we" did not want to be the winners, we wanted to deliver a message and the people all over Europe got it! ....as for tastes and preferences I would never buy a cd of Netta! I was just mantaining that the juries as always never give Italy the points it deserves and that the show is getting more and more towards a circus like show!! Love from Italy anyway. In my country just 3900000 people watched Eurovision with a share of 18.80 % ....... so do not be surprised if we are not going to take part in it in the future so you can dance and have fun!!!!! @@JS-ir4sh nah. In 2018 their song was a masterpiece especially the lyrics. The performance wasn’t top tier, it was simple but the release itself was amazing.
I don't understand all these points for Austria and Sweden. Their songs are just okay, nothing special. I've even thought that Austria will not qualify for the final. The same is Australia, but I knew that jury will vote for it. I think, Austria's and Sweden's places should be lower then top-10, may be even closer to top-20.

So the winner of 2009 came back in 2018... I guess Norway didn't win anything since then so they wanted to win by bringing him (I could be wrong cause idk who the winners are except for 2010)
I think Albania should have won the juries, absolutely amazing voice and singer, not saying that should have won the contest but juries definitely Yess 🙏🙏
