In short, she's basically singing about her insecurities and her want to seen, heard and loved despite all these. Voila (in this case) literally means "this is me/here I am". 😊😊😊

This was the first Eurovision song in like 10 years that I really liked.

The pronunciation of "Pravi" is actually pretty good ahah ! She did an awesome job with her song, so proud of her!

I'm curious what you think as a MT voice teacher of Barbara's preference for emotion over technique here. There are quite a few moments where she misses notes, her vibrato is unstable, her voice breaks, etc. but it works because of the emotional intensity, and there are other parts where we can clearly tell she's a good singer. But I can't help feeling that if I sacrificed that much technique for emotion in, say, an audition, I'd be ripped to shreds. When do you suggest going all out?

excuse me Jennifer, again about the reaction to 'Voilá' de Barbara Pravi... as an exemple, we cannot react to a song from Edith Piaf without including the interpretation... as a voice, nowadays she would be a very common singer... what makes her unique is the interpretation of the text... 🧡 She's an incredible singer! I've seen the movie Eurovision with Will Ferrell but not the actual show. Nice glasses! They do have a little reflection when you turn and face the camera but when you're facing your computer, it doesn't really show that much. Did you started wearing them recently or did you always wore them before.

This was a very interesting video to follow, I loved France this year! Personal favourite as a singer was definitely Switzerland but a more fun one to look at might be Ukraine, it's a bit unique.

Hi Jennifer, Firstly let me tell you that i have been following your reactions to Dimash and i find them extremely good, i think i have seen them all and thouroughly enjoy them. Please do another reaction on this song from Barbara Pravi, 'Voilá", but based mostly on interpretation, because this song has an amazing text and she interprects it uniquely, i think it is actually a master piece of interpretation... the diction and the timing of the diction and the difference intensities to express the feeling of the text at each moment...
