Eurovision 2021: ITALY WINS Televote Results REACTION from Press Center 

The televoting this year was so satisfying. From hysterical laughter of all the 0 points to connecting the dots and realizing that Italy has eaten all these points for dinner.

Best televoting in the history of ESC. Not gonna lie it was satisfying.

You could tell Italy was going to take a HUGE amount of points when the presenters started with “get ready to receive...” I’m so happy for Italy. They got ALL of my votes.

No one person is unhappy about Italy winning. Everybody loves Italy...and this band was superb.

I'm still completely stunned at 4 countries getting 0. We (UK) have also officially peaked by getting 0 overall. A new achievement.

We knew juries would try to screw the loud entries so we voted for them 🔥 🇺🇦 🇫🇮 🇮🇹

This year tele voting was the most exciting I’ve seen in ESC, they totally overturned the jury’s vote and I love to see how all the votes went to Italy 😌

Italy finally did it! A real winner after a long time!!!

Spain, Germany and the UK have zero excuses. France and Italy came 2 and 1 in the final, both of them top 5 in both the jury and televote. It isn't some disadvantage, you just don't send good enough quality consistently. Italy has been the most consistent country of the last decade and have been rewarded with a win. France has also been quite consistent and have been given 2nd place. I think they should be proud.

i am italian and i am very happy for the victory of our talented band. they have personality, talent, they are not afraid of anything, when they perform, they attack the scene like a band of great experience. very blessed. the Spanish singer surprised me negatively, the usual interpretation and song made of sugar and honey mixed ... not very pleasant ... another surprise, the 0 taken on televoting by the Dutch group - in my opinion, very good. I think this year was all about the performance and presentation. Gjon's Tears might have had a musically correct entry, but I think everyone (I mean the public voters), wanted something more upbeat and demonstrative. I was actually shocked by Frances finishing spot, as I thought Barbara's performance was not great and Destiny had a better video than live performance. Fell in love with Stefania so I was hoping for a top ten finish and I think Katerina and Go A, will hit the international scene, and have lots of success now, with the exposure. I am sorry but the UK looks like they do not want to host this event anymore because that entry was not even average. But the right entry won so onwards to Rome, or another great Italian city!

I m french and not specially angry about Italy s victory. Actually this country is impressive since come back in 2011 and no other country achieved so good results...maybe sweden only....Nethertheless some of previous italian entries would have been more deserved winners...Mahmood or IL VOLO for instance ...

I am from the UK and before anyone has a go at the voters, please stop and think about the voting system. We are not getting voted down its just that the juries and public preferred 12 songs more than ours. Thats perfectly understandable. There were at least 12 songs which are better. The staging looked cheap and tacky with a song to match. I have no quarrels with the result.

I’m sorry but the uk shouldn’t have ended that low. I know we tend to send bad songs but our song this year was definitely deserving of way more than last place and especially zero points.

I am British and was ashamed of the song and the singer. Am sorry but what a state this guy was and he was too breathless to even sing in tune. Italy deserved that win. Maneskin are pro and are going to be huge. They are already the opening act for the Rolling Stones how amazing is that.

UK, Germany and Spain ONCE AGAIN at the bottom. It just goes to show how tired of the big 5 people are. Out of the 5, only Italy has consistently had good results. France recovered well this year, but the big 5 pass should be abolished. The fact they automatically qualify has been making them send really poor tracks. It's actually disrespectful to the nations that actually work hard to qualify.
