He won hearts and minds of people around the world watching Eurovision, 18 nations gave 12points from televote to him. and it wasent enough, Moral winner definetly.. im so proud of him as a Finn. 2nd place with Finnish spoken song is amasing
@@Oskyldig-ot1yr Yea, that's also bit dumb imo. i would compare it to same as presidential or parlamentary votes, one for each person.. not 20 that they can throw around.. like wtf :D
I absolutely loved his performance, more than Loreen's. t would have been fun to see him win; his song is not the typical Eurovision song in the way Loreen's is.
But still couldn't give the 1st place to him, eventho everyone except the judges were on his side. Just shows that officials don't want people to be happy and united. Glad Käärijä is still powering through and bringing people closer to each other.
@@Nominetus Stop being ridiculous. They wanted Sweden to win because it's Abba's 50th anniversary next year and obviously they wanted that to be celebrated in Sweden. Got nothing to do with gender.
I find Eurovision hypocritical. If there was one song that "united each other through music" it was this song. Everyone was dancing and had a smile on their face; this song moved everyone. But yet, that song did not win because of judges decide to slight this performer every time. It's so obvious to everyone what they did and it's pathetic.
Whole Europe partying and signing together in a language completely foreign to almost all of them. If this isn't what Eurovision is all about then I don't know what is.
Some say this is a crap song, children’s song, drinking song. But look at these people! They enjoy this together, singing and dancing. Can’t understand a word but trying to sing in Finnish. Finnish! I’m so happy as a Finn. This song and Käärijä did something special. He didn’t won the competition but he won people’s hearts. So proud of him. 💚💚💚
We are so proud of Käärijä ❤ 🇫🇮 I can't remember Finns ever being so excited about our Eurovision representative! He is loved by the whole nation and it's great to see people in other countries enjoying and feeling the energy of a Finnish song. 🎉
@@ellem8990 I thought Czechia was going to be in 15th or lower but look, they got 10 the place. So happy for Vesna, really loved the song and the message.
@@poppitpop Well yes the over all score was good, but I was surprised by the televote. I was actually expecting them to make it to top 10. I was theorizing tho that people that liked Czechia, Spain, Austria and Finland, liked them all and saved their vote for Finland (meaning that those countries kind of have the same fanbase). Many voted for multiple people, but I know not everyone does that.
I love my fellow Europeans ❤ Embracing our little Käärijä even when he sings in Finnish. Which almost nobody understands or can pronounce all the words. But it's still a crazy party 😅💚💚💚
@@MarioLanzas. Keep crying over literally nothing. "Eurovision is supposed to bring people together and make people happy" People when their favourite song loses: "Uugh, Eurovision is shit, judges are shit, waah, people have no taste, waahh" Jesus christ, grow up, enjoy the music and get over yourselves
On average 10,44 pts from the televoters of each country, that is just beyond human understanding🥰🥰🥰☺☺☺😊😊😊🥰🥰🥳🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰😍😍I am so proud of this guy, I love smiling and laughing, positive people and this man is at that one of a kind☺😊😊😊🥰🥰🥳🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰😍
When people are thinking Eurovision 2023 they will remember Käärijä and how he was robbed by jury 💔 Cha cha cha got 3th most public vote in Eurovision history, more public vote than 2021 Eurovision winner. Finland got 18 times 12 points from public vote! ❤ ✌️🧶🧶😊🧶🧶👍
Yeah as a Finn I was a bit pissed for a day or 2 after the contest but tbh once I realized it kinda won the hearts of everyone I wasn't that annoyed about it anymore.
This is a clear proof of who really united people, which was the main purpose of the competition. People who call the song childish and cheesy have completely missed the point. This is what we want to see in the competition. Something unique and odd that really draws people into the song.
Go Käärijä 💚 The song has already a mind of its own: several covers in several languages And fans singing it in finnish! That is truly amazing! Cha cha cha will be a Party Anthem loong after everyone forgot about "the winner" Mind my words 🏆💚💚💚🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮
me neither - Loreen is a superb performer, she showed it. But her song was ass. I can't remember any of it - just her wailing continuously for 3 minutes .... not like "Euphoria", which was a deserved banger.
Käärijä was exceptional. I don’t think anyone will be able to make me feel those kind of emotions, one of the most incredible things to happen to Eurovision. I admit Nemo’s performance was outstanding though.
All I can say is I'll never vote in the ESC again 😅. The votes of millions of people have pretty much the same value as the votes of 185 people of the jury. As a Finn, I voted for Croatia who would've been 7th if my vote counted for something. But nope.
I voted for France 4 times, Norway 3times , Slovenia 3times, Croatia 2times and Germany 1time... I have watched esc since 1984 and I've voted every year since 1998, and i am not gonna vote ever again
Look at this people. Look at this. How can you lose with this? Everybody is having a time of their lifes. Lost my hope with a neutrality of eurovision last night.
United and happy citizens are more difficult to control than a depressed and lathargic. Now imagine a worldwide song that sings about letting go of your fears and a song that brings people together. If you have power, of course you dont like that.
