Taylor ran the whole fight, while Pedroza didn't make much of an effort to chase down Taylor and land much of anything. If there was such a fight that neither fighter deserved, it was this one. The draw was correct.

I had the fight 147-145, for the champion Eusebio Pedroza. I think that he won the fight fair and square. He was the busier fighter of the two and deserved the win in a hostile environment. I guess a lot of Americans were angry at Pedro by keeping his crown. But, hey! Don't be mad at the decision, be mad at Bernard Taylor that ran like a chicken the whole entire fight. You can't win a title fight by running and not being busy enough. You gotta overwhelm the champion. Pedro the clear winner here.

Pedroza won this fight. Taylor did well to go the distance and frustrate the champion but Pedroza was always coming forward and Taylor always on his bike doing all the running.

The challenger Bernard Taylor didn't do enough to win the bout. In order to take the crown from the champion, you have to overwhelm the champion by being much busier. He was not busy enough and he and the crowd were expecting victory. I think that Eusebio Pedroza won the fight by coming on stronger in the later rounds. Especially, the championship rounds. Taylor's ring movement nullified some of Pedroza's body attack. The square ring was very large it seems. I believe that that is a 21' x 21' square ring. Sorry. BERNARD! You can't be crowned a champion by running away most of the fight. You didn't fool anybody. You wasn't busy enough. Pedroza keeping the crown was a worthy decision.

Lockridge was very humbling that defeat especially considering he wasn't defeated. I think everyone knows he won that fight but in the world of fighting it's pretty common that the decision will usually go the way of the champion unless they are stopped or beaten definitively on the scorecard.

Lockrodge se la pasó corriendo el triunfo es de Pedroza en mi opinión un boxeador así como lockrodge es mejor que no suba al ring ya que tiene muy acrecentado el sentido de la precaución corriendo y abrazando desluciendo la pelea

All Taylor did was run and hold, you dont win fights like that pedrosa chased him all over the ring, Pedrosa was the clear winner.

I trained with Taylor for years he was a excellent boxer but couldn’t bust a grape but he was hard to hit especially with 16 oz gloves I always thought I would have hurt him with 8oz gloves but I did outweigh him.
