I think it has to be Ronaldo. Portugal won their only major international trophy with ronaldo captaining their team. Sadly he couldn't play in the final but without ronaldo, Portugal would've lost in the group stages. Ronaldo's hard earned draws and patricio is what got them to the final.
@@bruv4934 It's a team game though. Sometimes great players that deserve to win big trophies don't manage to because of the bad luck of the day. Cruyff for Holland in 74, Zico for Brazil in 82 and Puskas for Hungary in 54 are examples.

Nope he is the best. It is shameful in 60's thre was no group stages in Champions LEague. This is why modern football is statisticaly overrate but by his ratio goals per game there will never be another Poortogese player like him.
