This awesome charge point from ICS comes with so much packed inside!
PEN fault detection, 61008 RCD, 6mA DC detection, WiFi, Bluetooth, ethernet, load limiting, smart control and lots more.
It really is super simple to install with entry grommet/clamp, easy setup and fast commissioning.
Huge thanks to ICS for the super kind donation to apprentice 121. This will be invaluable and alongside the battery storage and inverter is off the scale awesome, total legends!
I was really impressed with it and has some subtle differences to the 22kW variants we normally install.

I have had this chargepoint at home.for 4 months now. The first unit had a problem with the screw fixings for the unit which were damsged. It was quickly replaced and has worked very well since. We get periodic messages to say the charger has gone offline but this has not caused problems. The technical support has been excellent as our supply voltage fluctuates quite a lot and they made adjustments remotely to compensate for this. We also had a couple of issues with connection to wifi during the install which tech support resolved over the phone and by remotely connecting to the point. Highly recommended. Easy to install. But we had nothing but problems and will not be using again. 1 big issue was their server going down. Meaning you couldn't charge a vehicle at the time.

Tbh we had a huge issue with myenergi, hypervolt and podpoint in the past. None are without problems sadly. These seem okay we have a few 22kW units in the field and zero issues 🤷‍♂️

Does this have to be connected to the app to work? I simply cannot get it to link up.

It can be used in plug and go mode but that needs to be setup in the app….

Yes as can most EVSE chargers. They will generally work quite normally in a dumb state.

This may well be easy to install but it sure ain’t easy for the user. Builder had it installed but I can’t get it to work. Overly complicated and ni instructions for user.

Such is choice we got plenty of all varieties. That said no way is Zappi easier than one of these.
