I have a e golf 2015 and i love the car Adaptiv cruise control is so good and also assist breaks. I tested a Nissan Zoe and it had no armrest (for your right arm) this e golf have that. Also electric heated windscreen that works perfect when its cold and ice. Bluetooth to pair phone also very nice. Cd player/Dvd player also a +♥️ from 🇸🇪
Dashboard is not analog, they just keep it classic, but if you open it you will find a step motor witch moves the gauge. VW does that for many years- maybe more than 20.
Tap the gear lever left for more regen when in drive. Or right for less regen. It has various levels of regen, controllable with the left and right taps.
Hi I’m wondering if the tires were under inflated ? Because the the way you felt that the car was so soft but if everything was normal then it’s easy to upgrade the spring and shocks . The E golf is the perfect car for someone who wants to personalize his or her car the golf is the most customizable car you can get a lot of aftermarket parts available like body kits, suspension, brake kits, interior parts from other VW cars like the GTI or the Golf R there is no other electric car that has this kind of support and the gauge cluster is simple and will age much better than the leaf instrument cluster it’s not because it’s electric that all gauges and control has to be different any person that has never driven a E golf coming from a Gas or Diesel car or any other normal car would not be lost of how to drive this car but like you said it’s the most un EV car you can buy. The new E golf has a optional lcd instrument cluster but is still available with the more classic instrument cluster for people that want to keep it simple for sure the new car has a much larger battery pack and makes it easier to be the one and only car in the house.
V10PDTDI Good point about the tires. Golfs are known for their handling and ride sophistication, so I would suspect there is something else going on...🤔🤔🤔
Very interesting to get your viewpoint! I have a mk7 golf r, so it is interesting to see how they electrified the golf. Needs more digital info, imho. Analog and electric don’t mix
