If you allow me to explain why some scenes are so similar that they are scary, in "the red cross book" delivered to those who saw the end of evangelion in the cinema it was clarified that in the neon genesis evangelion anime CG was used (computer graphics ) but processed in a two-dimensional way, in other words they drew on top of 3D models, in the game I'm very sure they put models with less polygons of the characters that were used for the series with the same animations, of course, not all the scenes from neon genesis evangelion used CG, that's why some scenes were redone for the game
