the fact that we havent had sufficient plant growth to prevent landslides since the fire _five years ago_ should let you know how dire the climate situation is in SoCal.

Sometimes its hard to feel certain emotions. Worse to avoid them though.

Never forget who started those fires that has led to all this tragedy.

When people complain about water shortage, and had all in a panic, well, Yahweh giving it to us now! 😮

Mother Nature has been very generous with us🙏..unfortunately we were not prepared for so much!

We live in the AZ desert here in Lake Havasu on high ground, no sandwashes near us, and rocks & cactus don't burn either. Worst we get here is the extreme warmth in summertime, well over 105-110 degrees, and monsoon storms that can dump an a$$load of rain in a short time. Commiefornya is either feast or famine there, no in-between, and way too many people in an overpriced state. It's a miracle there's any vegetation left to burn in that 3rd world dumpster fire.

I spent three years rebuilding up/down olive mill rd after mudslides. So sad

If a nursing mom have bottles, pump, tent ( they might let you have a small tent up I'm in a 6-person tent right now) pack and plwy and nursing cover in casecyiu cant have a tent and shower shoes. Try your best to avoid going to a shelter if you can. Go early because it xan be hard to find a shelter that has space gir you.thiscis a small list. Benefit of going early it should to pick your spot disadvantaged they don't have a lot of stuff so you might suffer a little bit until they get everything they need to take care of you
