I think I prefer this to the original. This is a couple years old I know, but it doesn't get old for me. I really enjoy listening to you play and sing. I hope you keep making music forever and ever. and ever.
I remember watching your scary monsters and nice sprites video years ago and just randomly thought of it tonight. Found your channel again and I'm very happy i did. Keep up the great work. Love your originals too!
Saw the song on SoundCloud on my way home on the bus, and I was like "I know what I going to watch on RU-vid when I come home!" You just make amazing music over and over again, wish you the best in the future! Even... "If you go slow, I will always follow." ;-)
Been a long time since i caught up with your videos, and soooo happy you got into the film composing business, as it HAD to happen, as i remember saying that, when i first heard JUA, my favourite of all your epic work, so far!!!! Can only get better and stronger, from here on mate... Keep it up,and good luck, not that you need any! :)
This is gorgeous. Almost so good it make you feel bad, right? I'm ashamed to call my compositions 'music' next to yours. I can only hope to be like you one day :)
+Ocelot don't be so hard on yourself! I look back on my old music like "wth was I thinking?" I'm sure I'll look back on the stuff I'm writing now and feel the same in a few years. It's the circle of self-deprication for musicians ;) The important thing is to find music you love and feel is great and learn what you can from it. Your music will always continue to improve! :D
+AwkwardlyGood thank you!! I've missed being here! Like I said, I'm going to try to do these every now and then in between projects. Still won't be as big of an output as the old days, but at least some fun videos here and there :)
I wasn't expecting your head voice to blend in with your chest voice (without any breaks) like that. Have you been taking singing lessons lately or something? :P Nicely done! :D
Amazing song. Are you singer? or are you a pianist ? its hard to categorise you you are good at both. And you are working with Brian Tyler? Now that's a dream job. Keep up the good work .
+kaputasri Thank you! I am not a singer, but I sing on my original music and in covers for fun. I used to be a classical pianist but now my primary focus is composition. Brian is the effing man! Very cool and inspiring dude. Thanks for watching! :)
+Heitor Amaral yo heitor! record your piano through a midi line direct into a DAW triggering the sound library of your choice (I used Native Instruments Una Corda in this video but have used EWQL Pianos and 8dio 1928 Legacy Steinway in the past).
+bennemann haha I actually processed the vocals the same, weird! But different key, so maybe you prefer this key in my voice? Noted :) glad you like it though!
+Evan Duffy Yes, the key here is better... but that's not it! In "I will make it all right" at the beginning of the original song, I can hear a second voice effect that I can't hear in this one. You probably layered your voice over more times in the original to make it seem like there was someone singing along with you.
+Denilson Cuadra hey denilson! I'm playing on a Roland pt-3100 digital piano (not sure they make this model anymore but the new ones would only be better - this was bought back in 2003 I think... the sound library is the new Una Corda library from Native Instruments. Been experimenting a lot with it over the last week. Really interesting tone!
+Teniika Wesley Singer is waaayy down on the list. I don't consider myself one at all, but I absolutely love singing. Some songs just aren't meant to be instrumental only. My only hope is that my voice is at least tolerable to people! :p
