This is my favourite example of how to make cultural adaptations ever. Turning the story of Santa Clause into something so uniquely Chinese and yet so plausible and universal without actually taking the original myth away. This is how it should be done.

@@jaimesantos1170 Damn dude I just thought it was cute and a way to make a universal story just a bit more accessible to the world. Which the episode was about anyway. Sometimes it’s not about sjw nonsense and just about not being white and remembering how the stories for all of us felt a little like they were really for some of us, and being glad to see evolution that doesn’t compromise the original, just enhances it. Besides. Kimono literally means thing you wear, so if you think white people should be naked because some white kids on tumblr eight years ago got kimono confused with traditional dress heritage to call out weebs who shipped their no tps, you should just.
