I started playing hair guitar in 1985. One of the biggest things i covers is getting the tone right. If you're gonna play old VH, you'd better have a Flanger. The guy with the cardboard comment doesn't play or doesn't hear too good. Maybe both.
This is a perfect cover to learn from. Clear audio, and you can see what he's doing. When I started playing, in 1985, there were no videos like this. You had a buddy/teacher, music tab books, or you figured it out by ear. I was 80% by ear, 20% with a friend. All that time figuring out songs developed a very sensitive ear. Am I out of tune, even slightly? I hear it like its blaring in my face. Every player should learn songs with zero outside assistance. Even better when you're a new player.
Nice job man! Although I think you missed out on the palm muted power chord 'chugs' in the second verse. ;-) great tone too - sounds like the original!
Hi, my friend, thank you very much and welcome! For this video I used a 2x12 handmade box with celestion speakers and a Bugera 333 valve head. The guitar is a Tagima Cobra model. Soon I put a video describing in detail the equipment I use here. Great open! Thanks
