If you have far to much isk or plex and want to throw it at a dumbass youtuber like me, Madame Broker in eve deals with all my income, she also may be featured in upcoming videos once i get my arse in gear and edit them.

I deleted someones comment because i dont want names of other youtubers in my comments for reasons mentioned in the video after this, however the guy did make a point about what i got wrong when looking at the ore. As ive mentioned im returning, and didnt realise compression had changed your amount for mining , which is a particular annoyance because i actually counted the amount not just looked at the size of the container. Lessons learned. Im not removing the video because i still think the point is valid, that point being claiming to show how but actually just showing the isk, and the effect that has on people starting out.

@@Thisone95 Thanks for pointing it out! as ive said, i always welcome comment and critisizm, and i want it to be right. some people put things stronger than others but im ADHD, im definatly guilty of that too, so i try and keep my self calm, but i also dont mind it coming at me because im putting out an unpopular oppinion, and espically when you are a fan of someone i understand the backlash! Knowledge is king, and part of the issue with that in eve is big changes, mean that you can get official pages that arent accurate anymore. I litterally checked the compression mechanic on eve, then counted all the compressed ore (then counted again 3 more fecking times fecking times after your comment), but because it changed in 2022, i got an old page that was wrong and my figure was out by 100 times because of the mechanic change! Thats a hell of a mistake and im glad you cought it. Ironically i made the video after this about why i dont name other players before you posted your comment, but thats the only reason i took the comment down. So thanks for the help, your always welcome to comment!

Its always interesting listening to criticisms of videos you've made by others. The general point id like to make is that I don't target my content to newer players or Alpha's and saying that it drives people away if disingenuous. You have no metrics to support that claim. There is more than enough room for new player driven videos and content aimed at more established players. Most people will never fly a titan but still like to see videos of them. For the record however I had 9 characters SP farming for 6 months which wasnt included in the end total.
@aloneinfinland
@aloneinfinland 4 месяца назад
thanks for the view and the comment, i like your videos. To respond, who your aiming for dosent matter if your video is lacking context. The metrics im using are comments by players and former players from rettit throught eve forums and on YT. Both people that say they cant make the amount of money shown on YT, and players talking about impossible billions they earned that dissapear when asked for proof (so far we are at 28 comments that have been deleted by the poster when i asked for proof). And the declining numbers of users and active logins posted in various metrics online some by ccp themselved. I dont think shining a light on that fact is disengenious, and if you slide through the comments you will see support for this, there are even comments on your own video. However talking 'disengious' content, you made a video called 'how i made' without any actaully how to in it. You showed what you made from mining, but no method, you showed your bp's but specifically avoided the how, you completly glanced over the how to on charictar training, smartbombing, abyssal, bp's, and then then did a 'why i make theses videos' section saying they could help someone, but there was no info. Thats disingenuous, nevermind the glossing over how much capital you need to make that. A titan video is showing off something shiney, which is what your video was, and that its self is fine 'look at my shineyness' is always an interesting video. And litterally if the title was 'what i made' without the fake justification i would have enjoyed the video and moved on. But instead the video was 'how i made' and a pretence it was putting more info out there. The 'how' is what would attract new players looking for methods, the amount shown with no context thats an unusual amount, and know actual how to, is the disingenuous part. The difference in our perceptions is that i want accurate content out there with a realistic perspective that players can see. Its not an attack on rich players, having pushed aceface foward in my videos as a good example of informative videos that can generate the amounts you are talkign about, with full methods. The reason im making videos is to try and get more people into the game, a game that is now dropped to almost the same player count as when i started 19 years ago. To give realistic expectations of whats acheivable, and try to manage expectations of new players. The average player in eve across all their accounts has 9.8 billion , the average charictar is over 7 years old. Thats important context, but not good for the video clicks. I think the continuation of the game requires this context as a foundational start point. It dosent really matter what CCP dose to the game good or bad if the newer players come into the game with expectiosn that can never be met. I dont want to discourage people, players or youtubers, and i definatly know how people can forget about newbies because we all where one but then forgot. I just want to remind people that are more experienced and may have forgotten where they started. I belive you started before alpha and plex like i did, so you do know about that actual way to start, but so much of the content now (outside of your content) is 'plex plex multibox plex, you cant enjoy the game if you arent running 10 miners and tripple boxing abyssals, im making 10 15 200 bil a day you can to.' Can you honestly say you dont think those inaccurate or uncontexted videos being the first things that come up when you search Eve Online, dont affect the image of eve or Player retention?

Problem is many don’t cover the costs of invention, researching and time for blueprints and all the new industry materials. I spent 12 years and worrying amount of real money to once make titans and super cap ships using POS structures. But I stopped after too many changes not to new stuff but to existing stuff and thousands invested and years to then not be able to move, or build what I once could and then almost now having to do 50% again for new changes indy existing blueprints and new mats. I gave up as many don’t highlight the costs just the results - a shame as once was really enjoying game before Pearl Abyss purchased game. Also as a vet I never liked (although understand why they did it) the introduction and short cuts by buying skills - it lessens the value of time in game. Oh well good to see many are enjoying their own journeys. 👍❤

Yeah, part of the problem is enguagement, making a gaming video essentially about spreadsheets isint easy :p but also with all the established manufacturing, if your not in a mid sized lowsec corp with multiple moon harvesting tartaras, its just not profitable at the moment, because of how many places are doing that.

Thanks for the awesome video, to make expectations more realistically feasible. Agreed that with capital you can create more capital. Every one of the video's that you mention seems to skip the part of building the capital in the first place. Still can remember the milestones to have 1M isk in the bank. Than the first 10M isk, 100M isk and 1B isk. All these mile stones made me very proud of my achievements. Not to mentioned all that I learned about the game. It is a journey that is the rewarding part of playing. It is a pitty that some players have forgotten their journey.

yup exactly! I remember the first mil, the first battle ship (scorpion), my first PVP in a raven where i didnt know about bonises so had fitted it with heavy missiles, ironically winning the fight against 2 assault ships because it was a dumb fit! These for me as well are the things that make EVE a great game but its lookign more like there is that chunk of the fanbase thats just interested in bragging what they have instead of enjoying the game, and thats quite a bad mentality in general ingame or out. Hopefully we can get more into our game that want to play the game.

Its good to see a video like this im a newb been playing for 2months now admittedly bought 500 plex a few times 😂. It seems everyway of making good money results in me losing money, c3 wormholes i lose my praxis to other players before i make enough to pay for my ship. Exploring wormholes is better the ship is a couple of mil but the harder cans i cant hack yet. Even mining ice in high sec as resulted in me losing my procurer twice in a week to gankers demanding i pay tax or something to mine. Ace face video are good on the abbyss but you need the skills so lost a couple gilas already. Combat site escalations lead to low sec most of the time lost a few navy vexors there. pI looks hella good on paper in null but ive lost a bunch of full epithals already. Plus the newb corp i was in was taking 10% 😂😂. Im learning though ive got t3 abbsyy down now just hope i dont get ganked and i made my own corp for me and my friends untill we join a proper one. Games fun but im a dark souls fan so the harder the better im sure most newbs play for a week and leave.

I know i rail about the plex situation but dont think worse of it. my problem with it is that some people loose perspective because them com in, buy bling ships, loose those ships and rage quit becuaes they spent more than a decent games price on a single ship and one gang late its all gone. But it can also be hysterical because 1 500plex could get you 83 fitted navy slicers to throw away in faction warefare! thats some hilarity, and its better to spend an hour or so at work in real life, to get that money instead of few days ingame grinding lvl4's to get the same money in game. Also i got plex once as a christmas present, and itwas brilliant :D

I get that but remember that with 10 billion you have more than most players. If you are wanting truly shiney stuff then I'd suggest a wormhole Corp, its a good way to get a secure space to farm hard-core isk, and they will usually let you tag in when they are running sites too. Solo it more of a harder run because pooling resources always gets you more, I do it more because I can't be on comes most of the time and can't play at regular times.

If anything I think you’ve underestimated the skill farming. If you are on remap and have +4s you’re looking at 1.88mil SP per month and if you’re doing it for the ISK long term I’d assume people would plug in +5s which would push it up to 1.94mil.

If you are prepared to spend real money and struggle then yes go back, the game is nothing like it was, you will have offers sent to you, offering skillpoints constantly, I remember tracking a war target down, he said he lost all his ships and was forced to run missions to rebuild isk, he forgot about locator agents. Now you just buy plex and skillpoints to replace your losses, it take no skill just an open wallet, if you are ok with that you will be fine to come back.

o7 or o/, What you say is very correct, for someone who wants to build blueprints that cannot be invented, it's ok, in the station in Jita you spend too much on manufacturing, you have small profit margins, one thing is good, you don't have to You risk removing the elements from the station and going to a station with lower production costs, but if you want you can, transport the assets on several roads, that's how you make more money, preferably in the end to fly the built ship to the jetty , don't transport it in a transporter :))))
@aloneinfinland
@aloneinfinland 4 месяца назад
That's it, you move the bottleneck, do you want to move out 2 jumps and save 25 million, or not. But in some cases you can make a large profit margin if you see what prices are moving. E.g. last 2 weeks was bhaalgorns, the just buying BP and manufacturing from bought stuff in jita was netting 200 mil per run after production and sales taxes, I built around 30 over the last two weeks and paid for a new shiney setup for a mission hub. But the price has crashed now and the supply price has gone up... so its onto the next one

And when I made a new one all the suggestions where ultra right wing nazi stuff, not normal right wing but every second was a terrorist video and the ones in-between where men talking about abusing women. It was kinda scary that's what gets shown to a new account. Now it's just eve, machining, homesteads, and comedy thankfully. I was probably a bit more nieve about people's opinions, considering what I've seen in game playing rust, but I thought that toxicity was because of the cultures on the servers close to me... we are always learning I guess
@TheMule71
@TheMule71 5 месяцев назад
Well, it's not uncommon. Some youtuber, who will remain unnamed, put out a video on how much profit he made by buying a T2 BPO. In the calculation, he included everything, including the ISK from selling the finished products. I tried to point out that that's not the return of the investment. Basicly the comparison was between someone producing stuff and someone not doing anything at all with industry. Needless to say, the correct way to compute return is to consider the cost of invention only. That is, to compare someone producing - idk - 1000 T2 items per month with a BPO and someone producing the same 1000 T2 items with invention from a T1 BPO. Of course, the correct computation shows a much smaller ROI, basicly the T2 BPO isn't going to pay for itself anytime soon (euphemism for "the server are going offline before that happens"). He completely disregarded my comment, insisting on his way of computing the ROI, and I dropped the conversation since at that point it was more likely that he was trolling that not. Anyway, let's not forget that NS superblocks propaganda machines have their own interest in misrepresenting and over stating HS earnings, as they use that as a base for CSM pleas to CCP to increase their own earnings.

most of those playing the game the way hilmar intended are still playing. the others left after having the game play they loved slowly strangled. the new player experience mostly failed because ccp never understood what they had or what attracted most people to the game. the few new players that stay are simply used as corporate fodder or worse - scammed. there is a way to bring some of the magic back but only a glimmer of what it once was. once you stop spending real money on this game, quit playing it like it matters, and play it smaller, it gets interesting...

I made close to 400 billion with a combination of industry and abyssal. Its not easy, but its definitely possible. The thing about industry is to know what to build and when. If you just make random stuff then you wont have much income. Has a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it its not that hard. Build stuff close to jita so you can sell your good fast.

first off. if you wanna go at someone like you do, you kinda need to add the link for the video in description so we can se for ourself, because now we just have your word it, what this guy is saying in his video. this types of summary are usually made by people that do lots of video where they go more in depth of what they doing, and people like strangenet are good example on it. so i have no way of verify what either of you saying on the matter, but heres few takes when it comes to what i think in regard of isk making in EVE: when it comes to industry, you cant do it in jita, because build time are too long, and taxes are too high. me and my production partner can build up to 400 bill worth of ships every month, and if something have less then 20% profitt we aint building it. alot of ships, especially t2 frigates can have up towards and even higher then 100% profit sometimes, because remember jita aint the only marked in the game. you allso need to remember theres not only 10 slots on an account, because 1 account can have 3 toons, witch can have up to 11 slots each, so 1 account can infact have 33 of each types of slots, and with 5 accounts thats up to 165 slots total on each type. to make 400 bill a year, you need to make 1.1 bill a day on average. 1.1 bill divided on 165 production slots are only 7 mill profitt a day on each slot, and thats stupidly easi to make. just marauders lokaly are rougly 350 mill profitt each for me, so he can build 3 a day of those and call it a day.. if you do little bit of everything and have 5 accounts, 400 bill a year should be on lower end of what you gonna make, especially if industry are what you are into.

I find some of the details a bit sketchy, could you explain a bit more, a Marauder to build is 1,448,507,718 isk in components or there abouts, they can be bought from the market for 1,435,000,00 isk and they take 2 days 03h 44m to build, now some of that can be lower in different stations, but the supply chain means you need to be near empire space for easy access to markets, or you have one hell of a setup, an exhumer using the same deal is 302,726,566 isk to build, yet can be bought for 307,900,000 isk, I went through a whole load of T2 ships I have prints for and none of them have any profit, since the mining and moon products change, one stealth bomber I refused to sell was 23m when I stopped playing years back, and can be still bought for the same now, well under real costs. I used to build freighters when I played but they are way to high to produce if I played now, production cost 2,611,527,910 isk, sell price 2,361,500,000 isk so can you please explain this mystery ship you build 3 a day of?

@@Taz6688 yea sry. im not sure what you doing, but you doing something fundamentaly wrong. first off the taxes in high sec are insanly high, so you better off doing production in null sec. you also need to calculate from raw material price perspective and not from the components. i usually get materials at jita buy price, not sell, and total cost for me to build a vargur are around 1-1.1 bill, and i can sell them localy for 1.5 bill. for a hulk it cost me 215-220 mill to build, and can sell it for 300 localy, so good profit. for build time its also important what station you build in, because they have different bonuses. you say it takes you 2d 3h to build a marauder? my build time are only 1d and 11 min, so more then twice as fast. stealth bomber like purifier cost me 18.5 mill to build, and they sell in jita for 27 mill, so 8 mill and 40% profit, not bad at all. manticore even better, they same build cost but sell in jita for 35 mil atm, production cost i have for freighters are practicly same across all races and cost me rougly 1.7 bill each

@@goldeneagle256 i'll bite and ask one more question, it you have such a good deal why are you not selling the components, I used to build them, then things changed, and it was not worth building T2 ships, so I built the components and sold those, I did buy from the market with buy orders, but they take a while, even setting up orders near to exit/entry systems, also bought from Jita but moving was an issue, as I said you must have a hell of a setup. I know how the system works, but due to changes your saying the only way to build is a big alliance in null, never found a single corp that would offer deals like that, I did have a character in null, burned out so no longer, but everything was with an added premium, jump fee's, corp fee's and nothing that was in competition to 'their' production. I found too many have no clue when it come to costing the production, they end up selling under cost, not playing now so things might have changed, when I played one line was passive targeters, they took little space but used loads of trit, good for moving around, you seem to have a good setup, well done.

Not sure what youve seen, the one I said did mention injectors and sales and using their plex as I mentioned. And they mentioned reactions, before a few minutes later specifically stating they didn't do any reactions, which was funny after they just mentioned them and showed tonnes of bp's. As for making reactions, I'm doing this regularly, running industrials into lowsec in the system I've shown. There are a few established player stations that are sort of safe and have existed for a few years now, otherwise u need a corp that can hold one. As for transiting, thats always luck, but as you and I have said that's always luck if you're doing it solo. But quantified luck if you know the areas, e.g. tama always has a highsec gatecamp but multiple gates. Res never has a gatecame because the FW guys slaughter them every time , so you can calculate when is a goodish time and lower the risk. I've personally lost more ships in udema High sec than all lowsec and nullsec losses combined

@@aloneinfinland He never mentions the reaction much, he did loads when the new changes were brought in, he researched the new mods (bpo's) and made carbon widgets, cannot remember what it was, something new which added hundreds of millions to ship builds, he jumps from job to job, like most rich people, if the profit margin falls they move on to the next best thing, I may be wrong but I seem to recall one structure was lost which was a major build/reaction station, even using third parties it was knocking the profit out of reactions. With billion to play with you can buy some items and make a quick turnover, but yes he was a vague, as always, if he said what was working the guts would be kicked out by the end of the day.

@@Taz6688 must be different people's. The video I'm chatting about the guy showed the stuff but then mentioned he never dose them ever. For me it was funny because another video I saw from someone else was specifically saying how there was no money in reactions, which is not just false, but its the highest profit section of manufacture because of the lowsec requirement. To each their own I guess. I want to try and help people and bring people into the game. And some of the most fun parts of it for me, like frigate combat, small gang pvp, exploration (looking for lore not site scanning), and just discovering what there is in the game, are cheap and fun times. But people are constantly listing the inpenetrability, the lack of billions, expensive losses, as reasons they quit. This comes from the ultra rich in game showing off their oddity, and some other lying their asses off pretending they have the same amounts. So new players don't enjoy the first million the make because its not 10 billion, a figure higher than half the players in eve have.

You can have omega for free if you use 2x mtc and extract 3 character after you've trained the skills you needed. It's so easy...
@aloneinfinland
@aloneinfinland 4 месяца назад
Translation, "you can have omega for free after you have spent 5 months of plex or real world money" let me help you with this. You can only extract after 5.5 mil sp, so a few months to get there. You need mct for ever month you are plexing, so instead of one sub you are paying 3, 7.5 bil instead of 2.5 bil. That is 10 extractors a month, or 5 mil sp, you earn 1 mil ish per month so you would need 5 months on the 2 additional charictars to plex for 1 month after you got them to 5.5 mil. Your 'ist so easy' actually means, you need to pay for the game for the equivalent of 6 extra months before you could di this once, and then you would still never make money off it.
@AlexB_o7
@AlexB_o7 4 месяца назад
@nfinland you alpha train them up to 5 mils each. Been doing this for some time already,plus I have few guys that own 24+ accounts that do the same. You always buy extractor/plex when there are offers on the ones store. So yes it's easy. Edit: I still have the 10x extractors from the offer 1400 plex offer (3 months omega, 10 extractors, 500k or 250k SP + Skins). Offers like this are the key.

@@AlexB_o7 plrase refer to your previous comment, you said free omega if you use 2 mct, yes you can train the to 5 mil in alpha at half speed, and use dailys to get up to 5.5 which takes, but that next lot needs money put in. So money up front, and yes you can get the stuff on deals, but none of them go cheaper than 11e per 500 plex (several people tracking this) then the injectors. You arent seeming to understand your own comment, or what free means. Your method need inital cash or phenominal ammounts of ingame currency, or a tonne or work in game on alpha which while possible, is only free if you don't value your own time. Sure you can have 24 accounts, but that's half an half an hour at least a day logging in collecting rewards, then you need to plex 24 accounts for a month to get to the sp, one month generates 1mil sp, if you harvesting all 3 accounts, thats 2.5 bil per month selling injectors, but cost at the cheapest is 1 omega and 2 mct, plus 3 extractors, which with the good deals come to just over 6.4 billion in game. For one account

@@aloneinfinlandyou're getting above 3 injectors ONLY with remap. So with 3 alts you get over 9. I've just checked this in eveMon. 1.528 mils SP's only with remap(28D 7H 53m), if you add the pod + maybe some attribute booster you are over that mark. Legit I don't understand why you are so defensive. I'm doing this every 3 months and it's not only myself, ask any wormhole player that heavy multiboxes. In case you were wandering I'm not some kind of troll or whatever, I just found out about your channel, I think it's nice what you're doing.

@@AlexB_o7 this isint defensive, im pointing out your story keeps changing. first it was plexing a charictar with the 2 other charictars 'for free' (ignoring the training time required to get them to that point) then it was it was whatever this was. going on the numbers you just said, 1.5mil sp per charictar, is 850mil x 3 per month per charictar, that 3.36 billion per month extracting your alts. The account main plex is 1.75bil at the best offer in the last year, the additional chars cost 2 mcts cost 1.8 billion each assuming best offer on nex which is cheaper than ingame market, extractors cost 560mil each on best deal from nex, so to extract 2 chars and play the other as you claimed it costs 1 plex, 2 mcts, and 6 extractors, or at cheapest next store deal price... 8.7 billion. so no you cant extract you 2 alts and make a profit. something you would know if you tried this. thats the reasoon the people that do extract do it in higher volumes than one account.

400b per year isnt exactly a flex. But just a sign of consistency playing for 1-3 hours daily after work. Or just doing regular industry. Or doing lazy FW.
