170 million more expensive (Pyfa estimates) but you dont downgrade the Shield Booster: Take the fit in the description and swap one of the flux coils to a 'Page' Capacitor Flux Coil I and the Assault Damage Control II to a Shadow Serpentis Assault Damage Control.

Even tho I'm on T0 watching this video gave me different prospective on a few things, one being I usually keep my afterburners/mwd constantly burning, I didn't think if I turned mine off the targets would aswell making it easier to apply damage. Interesting

I don't know about the "cheap" part. The X-type XL Shieldbooster costs around 1.4 bil in Jita

Yep… sadly the price has changed a lot. Back when I made this video and used this fit that shield boosters price was between 550-620m ISK.

Nice vid as always! I still don't know why you have nice vedmak spawns while mine always come with 3-4 starving damaviks... how do you deal with that much neut?

You usually have a little bit of time to kill 1-2 Damaviks before the Vedmaks get in range, so you can MWD directly away and once the Damaviks close in send drones out to kill as many of them as possible until the Vedmaks get in range. Also, use your ADC while there’s still a lot of starving on grid to save yourself a couple of shield boost cycles! Once the Damaviks are in range cut of the MWD because you don’t want to be using that either.

first btw I tested a very similar fit in a Tier 6 exotic, seems to work nice there too, but it needs mg crystal implants. It then even can facetank the drone bs room as it does only kin/therm damage and Ishtar has decent resists against that.

HyperX Quadcast - it's pricey for a USB mic but so worth it. It has a button on the very top that when you touch, it turns off the red light and mutes the mic.

Have you noticed any performance change with the MWD and the HAC signature nerf to it?, how does this fit behave on T4/5 death rooms?

Also, most spawns you are mentioning, Not to get close (sleeper cruisers) can be facetanked without any problems. Also Cynybal spawns are absolutely no thread to an ishtar like this

4th. Lol. Nice fit im try it in t4s since im not great at piloting xD Lost a 2.4b gila and clone to a t4 cus i was too inattentive and missed one starving dam that just sucked my dry. Tried to get expesive to make the runs easier and faster but its not worth it imo. Flying cheap and by the seat of my pants seems to keep me focussed lol

@David my biggest enemy is becoming complacent and losing focus. Only time i die is if i do something stupid like burn out my prop or miss a neuting ship lmao xD

I try to make the effort but depending on what I come up against and how I can move around I'll try to get them. This ship made it easier to get extraction nodes because I could MWD around and using the guns on the nodes while drones did the dirty work

The shield booster isn’t cheap, but the fit overall is cheap, compared to what you normally see running T5s

Same idea with the Marshals; run away pull drones out and kill them fast. They die faster than Marshals so when the drones get there it won't take long for them to die.

Barely cap stable without neuts or overheat... This might work in the easiest pockets, but I wouldn't risk money on that fit...

It survived all the neut rooms I came up against. Typically people mess up due to lack of skill/knowledge because they let tank/prop run at all times because it’s “cap stable”. If you do things correctly, you’ll have no issue! Or you can bling this ship out for the extra comfort, but skill points and actual piloting skill is why this works.

You and your MWDs, this fit is so good but not with that useless MWD. You also dont need to Pop boosters when just using an AB
