I love this, a not too damn expensive ship, everything clearly and well explained, great voice 2, take your time to show the fit and everything it needs, what to focus on and pay attention too all in all great tutorial actually

I was doing L3's myself, but in a Deimos, it went good at first but then bumpet into 3 BS and 5 frigs, all the BS were cap neuters, so that ended nasty :( 2 I can survive if I can take one down fast enough or keep at range but these guys where neuting me from 60km away like WTF

Absolutely love your videos. Have seen many of them and really enjoy them. The last two Gilas in T5 sites have been especially good with explanations and make awesome tutorials. IF you could mention some of the orbiting distances and/or speeds around some of the targets would definitely be appreciated. I am curious why you go double adaptive resistance for the Gamma, but double shield booster for the Exotic. PS- I feel ya hesitation for the Sacrilege. Love it, Hate It. Answer changes hourly. 🤦‍♂️

I used to get the same amount of money with solo T2 fleet. Sometimes less, sometimes more than you get in this run. And that retribution costs only 200m and like 30m for implants, so its way cheaper. Also dont need that much time to make it work with skills. Im at mastery 2 with that retribution😂. Bit more isk and skill points let you do the solo T3 as i heard, but didnt tried so idk. I just wanted to mention a cheaper way to get kinda similar money. I liked the video, it was the first i saw of your vids. I will check out more for sure✌️

Solo fleet gets you about as much isk as the tier above, so you'd have to solo/multi-box T4 to get the same on average as a T5 cruiser run.

Nice!! I'm gonna give that fit a try. Question though... How much ISK are you pulling out of these sites? It seems like the prices have gone way down on the loot and has thrown the risk/reward out of balance.

I always use this site to track income: abyss.eve-nt.uk/ - CCP hasn’t adjusted the loot since adding the Destroyer/Battlecruisers books and BPCs a while back, the only thing that’s changed is overall prices on everything. Recently everything has gone down because of the amount of people running Abyssals due to the skilling event.

one tip, it could be worth investing in more expensive implants to make the ship cheaper in case you get ganked / lower the risk to get ganked

i wonder, since i wanted to try out abyssal for a long time, what do you have to change for different sites? Or is it better to specialize on one T5 site? Thought of trying them out on Sisi either with that gila or with the sacrilege (sac would need another 2 months for basic skills though) It would make self-sustain easier, since you can queue multiple T5s without having to rebuy.

It’s best to focus on one site and one fit to get maximum efficiency! I’ve seen similar fits work for multiple weathers though. The fit in this video is good for both exotic and firestorm, just switch out the drones and missiles!

Interesting fit with 2 med shield boosters. Your fit is much cheaper than my 2.7b +1.2b implants... I'm most impressed with the missiles damage application. Est price right now is 1.9 for you fit. so still a savings of more than 1bil! Edit: Would you take this into any other t5 type?

Yeah that’s a good idea, and I definitely want to do more newer/refresher friendly stuff! The Surgical Strike update recently impacted all abyssal runners, so I’ve been working on re-doing and re-testing everything, but I’ve got a few other ideas and videos for newer bro’s trained!

To be fair, T5 abyss is basically the hardest PVE in the game. While it can probably be done to some success, you really shouldn't expect to be able to consistently run T5 with sub 10M SP without extreme amounts of bling.

Nope that wouldn’t work, especially after the changes with Surgical Strike. The bling is necessary!

Ive managed to squeeze an 50mn a-type mwd + drone link augmentor on it its smooth as butter and so quick. i only run exotics in my gila

There is a reason an AB is used instead of mwd. AB gives speed boost but doesn't turn off and is cap stable, and your sig radius is much better for fighting battleships.

Be aware, that this fit will still die in a fire in certain rooms... on the test server i hit a room where one half of the sphere was a blue cloud (+300% sig radius) and the other half was a Red cloud (- to shield boost amount) ... This fit got fucking hazed with drugs and close to max skills

Further testing, this fit is ok with a crystal set.. the double large cap battery setup is far superior

No implants required! The fits I’ve done before needed implants, so this is a bit less blingy :P

Select which ever target you want to attack, and right click the specific drone you want to attack that target and select “engage target”

@@munemichyst1399 Cap difference isnt that bad. And you can switch to cap drugs instead of blue pill. More tank helps you in every room. More cap only helps you in neut rooms.

Typically Gilas are awful for Abyssal PvP, however they can definitely win fights and get kills depending on who and what they’re fighting. If it’s not too expensive, jump in and try it out!
