I've been running a cheap MWD Heavy Assault Missile Cerb in T5 Darks. If you are good with piloting you can perma kite rooms and it makes the Karybdis room easy, just don't let scrams catch you, zoom out and play with a top down view. It even makes the Dreadnought room easier because you can fly in under their guns quickly or use javelins to poke down stacked Starving Leshaks. Practice with a solo MWD Hawk in T2 Exotic and get 100% confident in that. The piloting of the MWD Cerb is basically the same, even the speed/inertia and general kiting tactics. That said, there is one "death spawn" regardless of prop for HAM fits that I haven't been able to counter after many attempts. It's the Damavik/Vedmak spawn where there is only 1 Harrowing Vedmak and many Ghosting Damaviks (about 5), often with some Starving Damaviks mixed in. You slowly run out of cap while not being able to get enough damage to apply to get through their reps because of the stacked Ghosting guidance disruption. You could do A LOT of runs before getting this exact room. I've tried a web, guidance computer(s) with precision scripts, implants, Standard Crash (I don't normally need it), more bling and different combinations of those. I haven't tried a target painter yet, I need to train those skills a bit. If you get a blue cloud and you can get into it before getting scrammed/tangled to a crawl, then you can pick off the Ghostings/Vedmak and you'll be fine, but your relying on some luck there. For now, I have stopped running HAMs on TQ until I confirm on SISI that this death spawn room is consistently beatable. It might just be too tightly tuned to a bling GIla.
I have been able to get through similar rooms by basically shooting a volley at one/putting drones on it, then hard focusing a Ghosting, so they swap reps to the one you're not focusing, which lets you generally kill one. Can be sketchy but I haven't died to one yet. Once you get a ghosting or two down you can break their reps.
@@hehawseve3560 I've had a couple successes now, after a couple more deaths, to the mass ghosting spawn. Similar to what you were doing, get them to spread them reps out a bit then use heat to bring down one ghosting. I also found a weird quirk where if I burn to the boundary and sit just outside the abyss boundary, they will orbit there and take damage, like a suppressor. Very useful in getting them to waste remote reps. The spawn is time intense though, easily the spawn that takes me the longest to clear.
@@Denominus Yeah, basically just hafta exploit bad AI behaviors lol. Even splitting launchers and putting a few volleys on 5 different targets to get them to derp their reps can help. Not foolproof but seems to work well enough, esp with how cheap this fit is. I'm not sure I like the storyline BCU or the target painter though...if you want application in the mids, second web seems to work much better for most situations, guidance enhancer seems like it would be better than the triple penalized 8% damage bonus, else raw damage or tank may be better. Haven't really played with those changes enough to make up my mind, though.
Being someone that has nearly always flown shield ships my first outing in this was a little bit heart stopping. The first hit took my shield down to 5% and for a shield carebear it was very scary. I've actually never flown in a situation where I have had to use target painters and webs in combination so I have a bit of a coordination learning curve in front of me. I think I will practice in the lower levels for a dozen or so sites(at the very least). TYVM for the fit. I have never done dark before but I have done a lot of abyssal sites and have hundreds of dark filaments. Best I use them rather than sell them. o7.
Another option would be dualwebs. Get 15 km variant. If you still have trouble webbing vedmaks, overheat 1 web for 1 round. Dualwebs apply damage better than 1 Web+TP.
Old vet here coming back for the new content, pvp and pve. I was looking for something with missiles and drones as my skills are that direction, and I was thinking about the Sac, but didnt know fit, and then your vid popped up. will def get this fit and find a quiet HS system to work in.
Thank you for the great tutorial. I was wondering if you can chime in on why not replace the target painter with another web. I might be missing something but if my calculation is right, when you struggle with damage application on frigates, target painter give you ~30% more damage but another web (-60% speed) would roughly double your damage. But If your priority is to reach full damage quicker on cruiser sized target, then it makes sense to use target painter

Hey! I haven’t played around with the Sacrilege since the update that added Concord/Angel/Sansha to the abyss, but I definitely want to play around with one soon and figure out a decent T5 fit. I’ll let you know once I come across one that works :D

Got an expensive version of this and it just works great for me in t5. Made a good quick amount of cash and now working towards t6. Went mid-low Asklepian with omega, dual webs, and drugs. Changed the auxiliary for another rep. Haven't run into any issues with kiki/drek, marshal, Ephialtes, or “Karen”. Biggest challenges so far are Overmind, Sansha, and Angel rooms. Lost two good ships to the Overmind specifically

Tried this and it's suicide. Can't even do the first room with all drone frigates and 2 cruisers. I'm presuming that's why you didn't show it? As soon as you get webbed you melt and you can't kill them fast enough even with them pinned down. I tried 3 times and it was the same car crash every time.
Hey Torvald nice videos, I’ve watched a ton of them and since this was the latest non pvp video I figured I’d post my question here. Do you have many problems with gankers just floating at your exit point? I run the blinged EM Gila T5s in a .8 system in some bookmarked dead space. Lost one recently to a 4 man crew that just obliterated me in 3 seconds and was wondering if I could do more to avoid or evade this easy camp. Dmg is fine so I was thinking about dropping a launcher for a cloaking II and trying the warp trick everytime I exit. Local chat monitoring is only so good since I can’t monitor it for 15 minutes at a time. Cheers!
Best advice I can give - run far away from Jita! I do my stuff in Abrat, which is 20 something jumps from Jita. The farther away from a trade hub in a higher security .9 or 1 is best!

Hi Torvald! Starting to take an interest in Abyssals and want to avoid the standard Gila. Did some lvl abyssals in Caracal but cap was an issue and I died. Looking to get in to a Sac. Same fit as u show here. But I know I am not nearly experienced for lvl 5 yet. U mention to take it in to lvl 4s but how easy does it handle 3s? I want 3s to be my starting point.
Well, I tried this out and the very first site I dove into with this ship I died to a spawn with a Benthic Abyssal Overmind Battleship and 4 snarecasters. I could not kill the frigs in time, got webbed, and got absolutely hazed/kited by the battleship, even with all of my stats matching yours. I guess I got very unlucky but very discouraging to say the least. :( I'll probably stick with Gilas for the meantime.
One thing to remember with the T5s is that the Overmind webs! For these situations, faction missiles and drones all on snarecasters and kill them as quickly as possible
Nice Vid!!! Is it worth moving to t5 from t4? I am doing very comfortably t4, getting all the loot with time to spare. Is the loot in t5 significantly higher compared to t4?
There is one room you didnt cover here and that is the 10 cruiser neut room. They get all over you in no time, and neut you out. I'm still trying to figure this out on sisi with this fit, barely upgraded and 2 webs instead.
In darks there are no resistance nerf, so you’ll want to bring different ammo and load depending on what NPCs you come up against. You can show info on the NPCs and determine what is best to shoot at them!
Torvald Uruz cheers man. Finding this fit great but losing them a fair bit too. Found shooting the harrowing Dems in the starving wave the better option as the dems rr. Seems to be 2 or 3 waves I’ve not been able to work out yet. Also, has loot changed I shoot the node but getting like 4m per completed room?
hey mate: i tried a lot with this fit and was doing 30-40 T4 in a row without any problems, excecpt the Marshall room. i allways die in this room and couldnt figure out why. even with upgraded armor repairer, drugs and assault damage controle the marshalls force directly through my armor. i lost 4 sacris in the meantime which cost me overall about 3 bill, allways in that room and couldnt get a clue what i need to improve. do u got an advice for me? most filaments are finished under 15 mminutes, but i allways die through marshals within 30 sec.
Yep that’s the problem with this fit, I used it before the Abyssal update but I don’t believe it works in T5s anymore. My advice for Marshals; lots of heat, and stay out of the blue cloud! Burn in on them and get damage on the Marshals as soon as possible.

I was buisy trying something new: I ve sucessfully fitted/tested a passive HAM Cerberus and downgraded it to the min max with a com plete price of 500mill and a 100 mill clone for T4s. Lets keep the fingers crossed that it last longer than my other 4 Sacris =)
@@TorvaldUruz hard one. So some Ideas are 1 how fast they are to do a 20 min on a lvl 4. site. 2 skill point and isk investment. As you you it take a long time to mid max in this game. 3

What is the reason for running a dark site, say compared to an exotic? Do the different abyss flavors have different loot tables or better drop rates depending on the type?
Vastly different isk/hr due to people overdoing certain abyss types because they're easier. Differences include what types of mutaplasmids drop and the amount of each of the production materials to expect.
u are using boosters hard and also nanite paste - what is your CLEAN income per hour considering the cost of boosters, nanite paste and ammo? Not so shiny I imagine due to the cost of boosters
After some testing, DEFINITELY want to swap the TP for another web. Some small RR spawns are nearly impossible or take forever with the TP, but easy with the webs. Not finding any rooms where the TP helps more than a web anyway. Application to small stuff is easily 2-3x better with dual webs with any TDs.
It is possible! What you can do with this fitting is use a drone and MTU, as long as you have enough time. Definitely be paying attention to the clock!
Nice! Do you ever test on Sisi? Or always dive Straight in? I have been thinking about some T3 (maybe higher) Damavik fits but so far havent realy been able to test them. And overall, did you make much in the abyss? Or just enough to keep going/PvPing?
Yeah I’m torn between the two. The one downer about the Cerb is you need mid slots for application and tank whereas with the Sac you can use mids lots for cap and application

I don't quite understand how you live in a T5 with this. I tried this but a more blinged fit/midgrades. Died in the first room, due to mass neuts. I've done over 200 T3's and around 100 T4's in Gilas so most likely just going to stick with that ship lol.
The Gila is “easier” and more reliable, but I’d say both are equally as good. This fit requires more active attention and effort than the Gila. Also, the Gila can’t do darks very well!
yup, absolutely. his theme was "cheap" and if you notice his implants they're all dirt cheap 3% types...cuz if you lose your ship you're gonna get podded too
