The reason I recommend a Tengu is because it is an incredibly noob friendly ship that can be flown well enough to run any kind of anomaly in the game. It offers very easy to apply dps in terms of range/transvertial, a very nice tank, and it is fairly fast when fit with an afterburner. Now as I said, the DED sites can be fairly easy to run, but hard (some impossible) to solo due to DPS requirements, so I recomend using either a second account or joining a corp that would help you/split profit.
Its because older players like myself want new people to play the game, and the easiest way to do that is to support people live streaming. For me a couple billion is nothing if it means I can get 2 or 3 new long term players in the game. The streamers may not be new players, but the ones watching are (or interested in joining). These streams also give out prizes to viewers, so that also helps keep them around as well. I completely understand where you're coming from though haha.
+starlingrad411 I benefited from buying 4 PLEX years ago when they first came out and converted to about 450m isk. I didn't play for over 2 yrs came back last year to the pleasant surprise that my PLEX was now worth over a 1b isk each. :) I had an Orca with my main trained to boost and and alt trained for hulk and had deep reprocessing skills. When I came back I even got a compression array and a high sec POS. Then when the skill injectors came out I changed up and drained 10m sp from my ult to train my character. I still have the compression array but have no plans to do any mining anytime soon, however the upcoming planned changes to the Roqual with super drones does look interesting.
Probing is incredibly useful in null sec as well. I keep a chart of the whole region that I fill out as I go when looking for DED sites. But there are many other opportunities to run relic/data sites worth a lot more than the high sec ones. Now you will probably be hunted by other players not in your alliance/corp so I recommend getting a hacking cov ops ship if you want to take advantage of these relic/data sites while not living in null sec. They do make quite a hefty profit with low skills.
Been playing for two months. Last month made 1.066bil ISK in profit. Did so trading. That's the best way for a newb like me to make isk, esp as there arn't many trading skills (though, i started with 300mil of capital off the buddy program).
Oh, if you want to look at your ISK making history and you have an iphone, download EVE Trader. I've found it quite useful. It gives you daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly reports which contain buy volume, sell volume, total profit and profit from sales. Also, it's free.
OK, so I've been playing for over a year now, and I while mining may be one of the easiest way to make money, I find that Null sec seems to be the way to go. I recommend joining a null sec alliance, training into a Tengu, and either kill NPCs or scan out and run DED sites. You can also mine the rarest minerals from null sec as well. Dual box ratting w/ Vindicators:120-150m an hour. Dual box running DED sites: anywhere from 60m to over 2 bill/hour. Note that DED sites are harder to find than run.
now since some time has passed since u made this video , do u have any better way of making ISK? cuz me and my friend are mining alot im a beginner but my friend has hulk and an orca , and we just go mining , is that the way to go u think , we are think mostly around plexes atm but my firend is also constructing obelisk wich will doubble our ISK income but we are a little tired of mining , any other way? :)

I have been play since November of 2013 (just over 2 years as it stands now). I have bought characters I now use daily worth ~80Billion+ and have just started building my very first titan. I mean to get to this stage I have spent A LOT of time killing red crosses. In my opinion, null sec ratting, if done right, yields a lot of money for very little risk if you're not too dumb. I started with lvl4 missions moved onto incursions and then graduating to money printing on the mass in null sec anom ratting and escalation running.

I continue to use drone boats in null sec. The best ship at the moment is the Ishtar (vexor navy issue does work for lower SP), which is something you could train as a new pilot (that is for null sec, not sure about lvl4s). I used a dominix for lvl4 mission running which worked really well. If you want to learn how to really make big bucks, join a null corp and learn. Soak up all the info :)

Right now though. Would you recommend new players to go mining? I know I wouldn't, I'd recommend them to go for a dominix and run lvl 3's until they have decent skills. If we are talking just isk.
im a single player ive got conciderable eve wealth.. im sitting on 3 dreads 2 carriers 3 sins about 20 asorted battle ships over 30 battle cruisers 12 stealth bombers over 200 cruisers mainly thoraxs. 2 obilisks 2 jump freighters about 50 itteron fives. over 30 pos towers around 500 bpo's and copies, 7 jump bridges, and a whole ton of pos fittings. as well as 3 billion in isk. and ive got several billion isk in ship fittings and drones and piles and piles of resources. it would take me a long time to liquidate it into cash so its just gathering dust. all i know is i cant ever run out of cash in eve :) not any time soon at least.
Yeah, i am lucky enough to make a great RL income. Probably gonna sell a few PLEX then buy a HULK. :P my account is from 2005 but, i played actively enough to have my mining skills maxed. haven't played in probably 2 years though.
missioning and LP conversion is a decent way to make fairly consistent ISK, though learning WHAT to convert is a big part of it. also thanks Boris for the 150mil, it was recieved graciously.

MrDabraxus less people means less plex to feed demand. Unless Alt account numbers have gone way over board. Plus you can do more with plex now so higher demand.
FullFledged2010 that all depends on the corps sp and ability! a corp full of 2-3 mill sp noobs simply wont last long in null unless they sell their souls to a null sec established alliance as cannon fodder.. i also know as i dont live in highsec. i have and i know. but then ive only been playing eve since 2007 so im not that experienced in the game. 7 years is not alot. of time in eve. but its enough to know what im doing.
Wayne Diffin I'm also from 2007 and i've seen enough of highsec to know that its nearly impossible to get a steady 100 mil/hour with anything else than incursions. Maybe if you're a master scammer in jita or mine with 20 hulks at the same time you might get a nice income but in 0 it actually starts with like 60/70 mil/hour with simple ratting and thats at the beginners level. With a shiny bs i could easily get 40/50 mil per tick (20 min?)
I was making 1.5 bil a day playing the market. All in highsec. so unless you sit infront of your PC 15 hours a day running incursions. I was making more with the 2 hours I put in it per day

you are wrong about the probe information, it wasn't that hard at all if you knew how to do it pre-odyssey patch. Basically they reversed the way you do it, for example, now you click shift or CTRL to perform an action on single probes, where as before you used those keys to do a group action.
Go find a system with 5-6 barren planets, in the optimal case its jspace/null, owned by your corp and 0% tax ;). You set up factory on each planet to turn p2 into p4. i invest around 5-800m every day for p2. 24h later i take the p4 out of the factory and have made easy 600m profit. you can do this every 24h, and have to invest only 10-20min of your time every day.
Ok if you are a new player and you want to make money don't listen to this guy. Mining in High sec is not a good way to make money at all. You have competition for raw ore at times and you will need to move ore around from system to system when the area you are in gets taped out and you are waiting for belts to re spawn. Missions however never run out no matter what. What you want to do is focus on being able to solo lv 4 missions and salvaging them yourself with a Noctis. It does not take that many skill points to get your Battleship skills and savaging skills up to the point that you can be making billions of isk a month. Some missions pay out great like most blood raider missions and angle mission (I would stay away from faction mission at first as they can mess up your rep with other factions and lock you out of some high sec space). Lv 4 can net you around 5-10 million every 30 mins in bounty alone and one full load of salvage in a Noctis will net you around 60-100 million (not to mention one full load will almost pay for the cost of the ship itself). For me personally I liked to save time by getting my refining skills up and melting down most of the mods I salvaged. I found it to be much faster to sell the refined ore than the items piecemeal tho you may lose a little of your total profit per load. The time you save however more than makes up for this IMO. Doing this you can make a billion or more a week with just a few hours of work a day. You can also set yourself up to play the game for free by spending the first week of the month grinding for you plex (currently about 610 million on the market) then the rest of the month is pure profit. You will also only spend around 100 million a month in upkeep (ammo and drones and such). This is not the very best way to make money in Eve but it is the best I have found for a new character. When you get your skills higher you can then worry about the more lucrative forms of earning isk like trading, pirating, manufacturing, planetary harvesting, low and null sec mining and so on. Mining tritaninum and scoridit in high sec even with max skills is simply a much slower isk grind. Another good option to save isk (if you don't mind being being alone) is to start your own corp so you do not have to give away tax. A small % of almost everything you do may not seem like much but it adds up as the weeks go by and having it all come back to you is nice to see. I personally would set my tax to 25% so after a month of gaming just the tax from everything i do would be enough to buy me a plex for the next month. IMO by the time you reach 10 million skill points you should not be paying for a subscription. However please keep in mind that the whole point of Eve is to do whatever the hell you want. If you find a way you like better do that. Eve can get kinda boring doing the same thing over and over and it is important to keep yourself in good spirits and keep the isk rolling in. Another thing I remembered today that is worth mentioning is using loyalty points to make profit. I will use one of my alts as an example. This alt works for the Emperor Family (a high sec corporation in Amarr space) and after about a month of doing lv 4's and gaining loyalty points the alt had over 600k loyalty. In the loyalty store they have a Apoc navy issue battleship for sale for 600k loyalty, a chip and a normal Apoc battle ship. The chip cost about 7-14 million on the open market and the normal Apoc cost about 175-190 million. So that is around a 200 million investment for a Navy issue Apoc that sells on the open market for around 850-900 million. That adds up to around a 650-700 million isk profit from loyalty points you gain for doing the missions you already get paid for. That all by itself can get you a plex every month.
u cant rly say that mining is crap in my opinion missioning is also kinda bad compared to scanning in my opinion i do relic sites and u can get bpc's worth alot and salvage is rly good for making money from these sites also u can find ded's that u can get a friend to run and split the money with u or if u have the isk i belive a stratios can scan do relic sites then go stright into a ded
primal gamer No. You are talking about something that is based upon luck and competition and I can say that mining and scanning will not net you the same amount of isk as lv 4 because I have done everything for years and I know what I am talking about. The only way you are going to make lots of isk off scanning is by getting lucky or scanning high lv sites in low/null which a new player would be stupid to do. Also salvage in a mission is almost 100% of the time all yours and that is simply not the case in scan sites as anyone who is scanning can show up rather than only people that are specifically looking for mission players (very rare) You simply can not compare a system that will net you 30-50 million isk ever mission with something the MAY get you a lot of isk if you get lucky. I have tested all this stuff with my alts and the plan i laid out is the best way for a new player to make isk.
luck my ass even with crappy salvage u can easly make a plex a month infact if u do 2-3 sites u get around 150mill plus even more if u are lucky but thats base ammount and if u get 150m a day u will have 4.2bill permonth and its better than missioning and mining in my opinion and if u are lucky and find a ded thats even more money
10mil/hr~ depending on ore and prices in a Retreiver .. it's the only way for newb skills to make real money consistantly until you skill into lvl 4's..:)
***** no, using a plex will upgrade your account, and no mining would take way too long on a new account you need to be inventive to get a plex on a trial account, trade, scam, steal all that good stuff.
pi is plenetary interaction, you can set colonies on planets that produce goods for you and you can ofcourse extract those and sell them on the market or use them to produce other stuff.
You do realize you will be waiting 2 (or much more if you take into account his past projects) years before you can put the Star Citizen comment to the test. Also, it isn't meant to compete with Eve as much as it is meant to be Wing Commander on heavy doses of steroids.
Why are u selling in Dodixie? Take all that stuff to Jita! It's worth it. It's an instant market over there and your only losing like 1-3 mil ISK depending on the item. Sometimes you aren't losing ANTHING except for cold hard taxes. I've been doing DEDs to make my isk for the past several months and NOTHING I get from those takes more then 10/20 minutes to sell And ALL of that time is spent actually getting to Jita and hitting "sell." And with that on a good night I can make a good 3-4 bil ISK in just 4/10s, and escalations!
Yup I do. Doesn't bother me much. EVE never has had much competition though which is part of the reason CCP probably feels it has license to **** around. Its only competition when it was first launched was pulled by EA(Earth and Beyond) and then SWG lost almost its entire playerbase when the NGE bomb dropped. Since then it has been a niche market with no-one gunning for the throne. Star Citizen has the people, technology, and drive to pull it off IMO.
I misspoke, it's a brain dead way to make isk with low skills....trade is a lot more work than I "was" willing to undertake as a newb. I'm doing it now so I can sell the stuff I make with my several billion isk in minerals a month...:)
quickest way to make isk in eve atm, start a new account, pretend to be a nub and stream the game on twitch - get donations and profit. Seen alot of new players make billions :\ what the fuck.

Anyone who isn't a hardcore EVE player invested heavily into Nullsec is likely to bail ship.
