EVE Online - How to fly a Rattlesnake in L4 Missions for relaxing ISK 

Running level 4's for the Sisters is my all time favorite activity in EVE. Last good loot for me was Zor's Custom Navigation Hyper-Link. And then the Loyalty Points kick in as well. It will not make me rich but I love it during watching videos. Thanks for this one.

I have been trying a version of your fit but with Gecko's and so far its killer. Love the Gecko.

FYI Leshak is pretty good in missions and PVE in general unlike most other trig ships. Unspooled DPS is quite good, and it has great tracking and decent range.

I know I’m a little late to the party. Does speedrunning this actually give the most bang for your buck? Aren’t the battleship bounties and loot worth a full clear?

Hey man i just got into a rattle myself and finding it really hard trying to figure out a fit. I managed to get a few application modules like enhancers, omni tracking, sensor booster, but then i cant fit a xlarge shield booster because of cpu/cap and even my large booster is only at 10m cap stability. Im not sure how many of these application modules i can remove in order to fit cap boosters etc without losing a TONNE of applied damage. Im not sure how much i can remove from the meds/lows without losing loads of damage application in order to get some remotely decent tank or some cap stability. I'm a pretty new player and my only other battleship is a Sentry domi. My Wardens can be manually told to attack from like 119km or something silly on the domi, but for some reason with this fit, i cant tell them to attack anything past 81km? Why on earth is that.. I have 75km optimal and then theres 42km falloff. I have no idea why the range is almost 40km short with sentries on my rattle than on my domi. I REALLY want to get this working because this is a ship i always wanted when i started playing 4 years ago (before i quit and very very recently came back). But nothing i put in my fit seems to work or fit correctly. I also do not want to bling it out with a bunch of faction mods because i cant afford to do that yet. Missions dont pay well..

I use something similar. The only problem I have is when there are many Sensor Dampeners. I have 2 Warden II and 2 Curator II plus some Vespas and Salvage. Just keep pulling range with a MJD if you need to and it's really pretty nice.

advantage with lashak is the you popp out the mtu and get 4 salvgers while fighting

DPS can be done in a 1400 Tornado, fit for speed and gank to get to the gates faster than rat DPS then pop her in one shot. Save wreck location, hand in and grab the loot on the way back out.

I almost never drop heavy drones mission running. If things are sub 20km, I'll drop a Gecko, but other than that you will get the best DPS from sentries. Sentries don't have to travel between enemy groups, so their DPS is there the moment you tell them to engage. Heavy drones are slower than molasses in January, and all drone types hesitate for a moment when you tell them to engage a target. You end up waiting so long for your heavies to engage that your missiles have already killed the target, making the drones useless. Sentries are where it's at. Just bring some more drone tracking mods and a flight of lights for the frigates.

It's actually possible to volley Scarlet with AC Mach, she stays a few seconds sometimes and its enough to kill her with autocannons.

Did they change something balancing wise? I can't seem to get it to have enough CPU for this fit...

What about Angel Extravaganza bonus room? 242 hp/s is not enough. Hell, my Praxis tanks around 300 hp/s with capbooster (so it's kinda capstable for quite some time) - and it's still barely enough (usually eats all cap charges and damage goes pretty deep into the armour). Of course, you can skip this room, it's a bonus after all. But the greed for juicy bounties is so real! :)

I cant seem to get this fit to work. I get CPU overload of 21.2. I have full fitting skills, what implants are you running?

So how does this fit handle the L4 Angel Extravaganza Bonus pocket?

Not a bad video, but I was trying to see how a sniper fit did against large groups in lv4s. I can do lv4s with a Scorpion NI, but it feels like I am eating through more missiles than I need to.

How are you able to access the gates without killing everything? Every mission I run requires me to kill all ships guarding the gates.

Would it make more money per hour if you kill all ships, collect the bounty and salvage the wrecks?

I fly a HAM tengu and can kill her in the second room. If you manage that, she'll drop the 4mil implant, if you only catch her in the last room she won't drop anything. I have roughly 1000 dps out to 38km, but the ship is much faster to warp and fly for less than half the price, and the way that ship soaked up damage while not being cap stable is scary. I don't even have reps on mine, and never seen the shield drop that fast. Well at least I'm not even considering Rattle's for L4-s anymore. Still interested how an Iki would do tho.

Why put cap rigs instead of sentry drone dmg rigs? Even more dps

my question is could you use a snake with like faction sentry drones? And Faction cruise missile ammo becuse it will take me like 70 days to get T2 sentry and T2 cruise missiles or should I pick a normal battle ship instead ?

What items are you trading with your LP?

If just bpo or bpc I would use the leopard shuttle warp 20au/ sec but all my ships travel faster than they say because of an implant. Which is nice.

Your Pith C type X-Large says 971 HP WTF on the game a Pith c xl produces 726 how are you getting an extra 245 hp?

How much does your rattle cost?

I used to fly a cruise fit Rattle then I tried heavies with a Gecko. I shall not be going back to those long range missiles that's for sure !

To big of a ship for 60m/h U can take an Astero and you make 1b an afternoon so around 200/h and more (or less) depends on luck in some way.

Rattlesnake sux. It's got 35-40% of it's damage in drones. Heavy drones. The kind that are easy to pick off and they miss all the time whilst shooting anything smaller than a cruiser. Also you can only use TWO of them. Meanwhile in a parallel universe there's something called a Caldari Navy issue Scorpion. Basically the exact same ship but it has an extra medium slot, an extra missile slot, longer targeting range, more dps potential with main weapons, more tanking capabilities and/or the opportunity to fit at targeting computer or target painter and it's also about 15%-20% cheaper than the Rattlesnake. Do the math, if you will.
