Latency from keypress to the server will be some multiple of 330 ms for each depending on the route taken by each packet. Some time would be required to make the determination due to the inherent latency caused by TCP/IP.

true, it can be longer, but in a rout thats that scattered and with every clients routing independantly it would cause more disruption and scattering of inputs, not causing them to all arrive a the same time. you could get lucky once, its always possible, but not every time.

@@aloneinfinland Even when multiplexing is done, the packets sent to the server will NOT arrive simultaneously because they are sent separately. They will arrive based on the connection's latency and likely out of order. Additionally, there will be "some" latency from the viewpoint of each Eve client. It takes a bit of time for the keystrokes to get sent to a list of clients and a bit of time for each client to transmit their packet(s) to the server, and there is likely some handshaking as this happens for each client. The server logs may be able to show a group of people all sharing the same Internet connection while playing together; however, this could also mean there was a group playing together during a Lan Party, and not necessarily they were multiplexing. It would depend on what was being done to trigger a ban. Suffice it to say, there are many ways to get this done if one wants to do so all the while making it look like there are many game clients using different IP addresses.

@@RayHorn5128088056 some of that is true. Lan partys no, you cant account share, specifically banned for that exact reason. Pings and module activation slipping can cause detection issues, thats where it gets more difficult to detect, However when you do have hundreds of module activations activating at the same time, that shows blatent plexing though, as someone in the comments mentioned a multiplexer that did a 25 account gank, and you can see on the video here on yt, all the actvation is same tic. guns web and scream on 25 accounts in 1 second thats 75 yey presses not including switching clients. and remember ccp logs show client data too, they can see time of activation on client and server side. they can also see what clients are logged in on the PC not just ip address or mac address.

not to split hairs but number of modules being activated is irrelevant. Modules can be pre-fired, so I can click my target which locks and fires weapon plus web or scram off of one select. So to fire and change accounts only takes two clicks

everyone has to be a rules lawer, but any ban would they would check the server records, all my accounts are on the same ip, so they would be able to check what i have done no problem. im bloody glad of that comment that showed me this because i had been thinking about makin an alpha hauler for salvaging my missions! thank fuck i hadent

[preemptive emphasis to not do this anyway] Theoretically they couldn't prove the two accounts were the same person could be for example two family members//flatmates/... in one household so it's probably a grey area they can't do much about. It ought however feel weird taking active steps to dodge this rule knowingly.

what's your thoughts on the idea that CCP isn't as active as you may like because if they remove all botting and input broadcasting would cause a major crash in the market regarding plex witch would affect the cost of everything in the game?

doubt it to be honest, the reason being is people running those accounts arent paying for the game. they are omega, but after the catalist skills they are running the extraction cycle. where they train to extract. use isk to buy plex, plex to buy extractors, sell extractors for isk. 12 charictars can generate 20 billion in isk profit every 4 months. so after paying for the first isk, or loaning it from an unassociated main, they dont have to spend any. I was just told I can run two Alpha Accounts together using two different computers when I asked via a support ticket. I said I have two Omega Accounts when I asked. Just wanted to share my experience.

its your experience, and its valid, i just wanted to make sure people knew what the rules actually where, because i had a similar conversation as part of a larger thing, and was not told this was banned, but then saw the eula....

dont have context for your comment but to try and answer, you seem to be implying im talking about baseless claims. the only claims ive "seen" have video evidence that cant be refuted e.g. the one im talking about, and the other one mentioned on here, the ones ive been told about where people on here and reddit actually explainint how they runn missions multi plexing and linking me the software and method they used!that was 8 examples. If you watch the video, im talking about the large groups, plus 8 that are instantly activating modules, in a mannar that isint possible without banned practices. So your accusation of baseless claims when people are admitting the behavious freely on r/eve seem... baseless, ironically But thanks for the comments and views, always appreciate them!
