I wish there was a 'small' citadel, something in between an astrahus and a mobile depot to be used like a small POS by very small groups or even solo. It would do wonders as a short/medium term base for limited operations, like running all the sites in a low class wh for a few days and then pick everything up and leave.
For 40k hauling, up to 60k, I would be using a Deep Space Transport. With their bonuses to overheating, 200k to 400k tank is within reach. It would certainly align faster and has in-build +2 warp stability. Easier to train for, and more affordable.
you can fit a compact MWD to you orca. Exit citadel, press ctrl space to stop ; then warp to, double click your mwd : you warp in 10s. That's what I use when travelling from system to system in my full-tank fit orca.
Ayup. and for NPC stations best to instawarp to an instaundock bookmark, then do the 10sec MWD warp trick from there. But for citadels? Well, it's nice to stay in tether if you can, so ctrl-space is definitely an option. or just make sure you point your citadel at what you usually warp to. ;)
Have you taken a look at a DST like an occator? If you have the Transport ship to 4 you get 60 000. m3 and its pretty safe with a MJD MWD and afterburner. if they dont scram you its possible to use the microjump if a bumper comes along. also you have the MWD cloack trick that is very usefull.
Really useful video. I have a slightly off topic question. Your corporate hangers are called 1st Division, 2nd Division, 3rd Division, etc can you just explain how that works please? What's the rationale?
Is there a timer for newly fitted service module to come online? I'm aware they need 3 days kickstart fuel plus an hourly amount, does it need to cycle for 3 days before becoming usable?
Typical Eve online interface stuff. "Lets make it take several clicks and two small loading screens to fuel the station, instead of allowing people to drop it directly into the fuel bay."
Have any of you noticed a possible bug with the fuel? In a Raitaru I put in 51 days worth of fuel and I went back to check it 4 days later it showed that there was only 20 days left?!?This isnt the 1st time its happened either and I am wondering if there is a bug that tells the system to consume a cycle of fuel everytime someone enters a job? Either way... wtf.
Negative, only me and one other corp m8 and he hasnt touched it (known him for over 30 years lol and I know where he lives lol). Trying to trouble shoot it just to see whats going on. Its quite annoying especially because of fuel costs.
So if you're in a Corp and wanna expand into different systems I buy an Austrhaus and put a market in it...you mean to tell me you have to quit the corp to get the taxes from customer transactions??? What a load
