Solo Players casually exploring wormhole space. Noobs dying. Miners mining. Scavengers celebrating their favorite time of history. Concord sweating in front of the decision to interfere in conflict to keep highsec free of death. Random Corps has no idea what to do. Sleepers want to sleep but outside their wormhole humans are screeching incoherently. You simply watching the whole war escalate. Me trying to catch that one asshole that killed me five months ago. Life goes on.

If you inspect the ship model it tells you the size of the ships too! For reference USN ships like nimitz are around 333m and the ships we got on eve is bigger than that.

They say millions died in that planetary strike, but every major fleet battle has millions and millions of deaths, each battleship has 8k crew and titans have 10's or 100's of thousands. I only remember this because I was the primary battleship producer in Jita for a few years and the BP's back then listed stats like crew complement.

nah, it's just CCP that fucked up their scaling. If you look at the ships at the back on the left they are behind the huge buildings and a Hecate is sure as hell not as large as this. Were you expecting CCP to do something right? HAHAHAHAHA

it was a feature in incarna expansion, CCP promised the Ambulation expansion (multipayer lobby, markets... in accordance with it's FPS counterpart Dust 514 on PS3. Like in every space game, every players want sooner or later, a FPS part. That's why Star Citizen got so hyped, fly and walk. But at some point, your engine is not meant for simulting both world, and always a deception at the end.

Yeah, it could feature the epic journey of one guy and his crew, facing dangerous situations, maybe even a titan. You could invent a catchphrase like "Hot drop o'clock" and call it something like "Clear Skies" or so

@@derpizzadieb Yeah that sounds interesting, or it could be like the progression of a new bro starting from Frigs and progressing into cap ships, showing massive fleet battles etc...You could even do a side story of a miner doing the vertical industry stuff, so from mining the rocks, to mining gas, mining moons to building the ships....So many options, CCP would get sooo many new players from this

That'd require work on CCP's part. They can't just sit back and do nothing, then interview some random player from some null bloc fight and then claim that its news in an actual movie, you have to establish a character for that, and CCP has shown they do not care enough to do that, or there would be narrative, fully voiced missions with _actual_ story from EVE's _actual_ lore.

The stages involved in solving problems in the EVE Online Uprising event include the development of new forms of corporation taxation via LP tax, addressing player discontent and community revolt, adding more restrictions to complexes and changes to site naming, introducing emblems on ships for player corporations and alliances, addressing competition for sites, involving Warclone Founders in the development process, and launching a narrative-driven expansion with improvements to Factional Warfare, new ships, balance changes, and more.

Getting ready to play Eve online, when listening to the developers and they talk about watching understanding the fluidity of the game. I imagine a team of experts commenting and doing news broadcasts to the community keeping them well informed of what is happening in such a massive online environment and by the gamers simply knowing or being informed of this how it will drive "Raids" and the gameplay environment. Always stick with passion never develop cheaply focus on a graphic rich environment and may you never want for money because of it.

Does this expansion hold anything for a solo player? I've dipped my foot into faction conflict zones but even when I get close to winning someone else just jum,ps in and murders me. I dont want to re-install if this is going to be more 'watch from the sidelines' content

There's literally dozens of videos on the internet of people doing solo PVP all the time you just have to know when to jump in and know when you can take the fight even groups of people lose to solo pvp people frequently

Yes. Faction Warfare can be done solo. I do it all the time. You're not gonna win every fight. You're going to lose. But it is extremely doable as a solo player. Pick your ship right, go into the right ones, fit your ship right. Don't take a frigate into a cruiser combat anomaly. etc. Learn how to PvP in EVE.

Thats really interesting but i cant help but to wonder who is pulling all the strings behind the scenes? Pitting everybody against everybody keeping them focused on oneanother insted of something else. And im also curies to what peopel expected when they where messing with the star? You will get a super nova and/or a black hole, two of the universes most powerful thingies. Idk the scientific term. Im sure somebody with a a high understanding of science could explain it a lot better then i can.
