ive spent 10 years waiting... ive seen alot of their prototype fps games... the one where they just imported all the dust assets into the next version of the engine and ran it on a pc looked amazing. wish they had given us that to play with to tide us over.
Taking into account CCPs history and the fact that CCP have been working on a PC fps project since 2015, im pretty sure this game will never be come out in a finished state. CCP are obviously trying to make DMZ in space. But so far it looks like a cheap copy. CCP are working too slow on a project that is outdated and they simply dont have the skills to make interesting gamemechanics. The high amount of playtests is just going to show whoever cares about this project that its not worth spending time on. Letting us clunck about on a empty planet with 1 gun is not good advertizement for the game no matter how many promises you make about the future. This game is DOA.
They can add all they want to the game so long as they fix the current core game issues like walking on land and being able to see properly not to mention audio.

The best mining of any game I've ever played was in a game called Firefall. They used "thumpers" to extract resources which you'd have to protect until you sent it away. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xnwQjUZhkq4.html There's an example. They work on a similar mechanic to crab beacons in EVE, though you would still need to use a device to find the optimal location to place the thumper first. I do like your orbital strike idea too though. But both concepts could work in a similar way.
@@lorumerthgaming Yeah, it was really good. And the voiced operator just made it better. There weren't a whole lot of lines, but it always made you feel good when the guy said, "you got it boss."
Hi Loru your my favorite chan for EVE info!! However I haven't been playing EVE for awhile now ( for more than a year ) because I have stress n anxiety problems. Has EVE done anything yet to relieve the the toxicity of the game ( even being in a "safe" zone is dangerous) . Also if you can please do a video how to be the safest as possible, yet still enjoy the game. I completely fine with player vs NPC interaction, it drives me insane when players gank me just to get their rocks off, its a major downfall of the game. If I had initiated combat with a player I am fine accepting the consequences, however I NEVER initiate combat with other players, I just want to enjoy without PVP . Please send me a message of the vid and I will definitely watch it !! Thank You for your time !
The short answer is: you are never safe in EVE. The game is a sandbox and some players choose to gank. That said, I wish the best for you friend! Our discord has many quality people like yourself, come on down
I really wonder what there were testing in last 3 tests.... there is nothing there... one gun, annoying quest you can't finish(that probably me because I was trying play solo) but it boild down is nothing to do there or aim for, I was expecting to get some Dust512 fittings etc but nop, it look like someone with Unreal Engine experience can make in 2 days. But it just me and my impresion. What annoying me is that there is so much potential but so far its look very very bad. And no "this is early Alpha" is no good excuses , there is absolutely nothing in this game at the moment
