@BSquared omg... I can't even tell you how blown away I am. My hair is this ridiculous frizzy mess of waves and straight parts. I usually just put it up in a bun or ponytail. (I can't cut it short because I need the weight to control some of the 'lateral expansion,' as it were.)

Diet has a lot to do with it as well.

If you have frizz through natural drying, no product, you have texture. That frizz is caused by dryness as well as all of the individual hairs. If one hair swerves one direction and another the other (like 2 curls seperated multiple times), you will get frizz. The tighter the curl pattern, the larger/greater the frizz. Wider curl patterns seem to frizz less overall, and tighter curl patterns create afros because the tighter curls cause more places in a given length to oppose each other and go opposite directions. Same concept exists no matter your curl pattern. Frizz=at the very least some type of wavy. People who don't have frizz aren't going to search for curly solutions because it won't occur to them because they have no frizz. Those with no frizz are usually looking for volume solutions (at the crown of their head). Straight hair will not do that much pattern no matter how much scrunching you do.

I thought I had straight frizzy hair for a while but I was actually a natural wavy and once I started using the right products they came out really nice

@@oxyroid hey speak to me! I'm 35 so I know enough to realize my hair has waves but I grew up really country and tomboy (I still don't wear makeup unless it's going somewhere I'm really uncomfortable and its like battle armor) and I have no idea what all these products mean! Share your wisdom! LOL

@@samanthasowell6350 I usually just use frizzease (which you can get get a walmart) and devacurl curl definer. Frizzease tames the frizz basically and devacurl just tightens and holds your waves or curls. However these products are expensive and it is usually very expensive to take care of your hair :(

It's the same for me. I have wavy and some parts curly hair, it's very fine too. I have to very careful on the amount of product I use, otherwise it will fall. And no, our hair it's not straight, if you try to brush it it puffs

@@espresshoe9253 true. My friend tried to tell me that her hair was so straight it just wouldn't hold any curl let alone a wave. I tried three types of curling irons, leaving in foam rollers overnight. etc... two weeks of experimenting. 1 hour later every hair on her head was stick straight again. lol She is a natural redhead and she just goes with it.

Kaliah Dalton no it isn’t. If you scrunch up straight hair it’ll just be tangled and whatever bends you got it in will fall immediately. Scrunching just enhances what’s already there. They’d have to braid it first. Do you have any experience straight hair or are you just making things up about something you don’t know anything about?
