As Gosu Gen said, the game is handled out by the Mid and Roamer, Credits to your Mage , Support, and Tank. Never bring them down, instead boost their confidence and keep on striving to perform outplays and win the matches. A good core is scary, But a pro tank is Scarier!
Never demoralise your teammates in game and break their confidence. I’ve seen so many instances where Francos have failed to land hooks but the same Francos hook the most important targets in the most crucial moments. Also, Beto’s Franco is 💯
@@mashky.1175 This is why players don't tank and tank mains are rare. A new player trying to tank, of course he will do bad play. Teach but dont trashtalk. Now, care to explain why its a naive mindset now?
Beto inspired me to start playing ml. I started as a tank main, then mage and now I'm trying to master fighter heroes. Beto is awesome as an overall player.
TIP for Franco user who loves to delay enemies buff. At the start of the battle stay close to the 1st mid turret and avoid showing yourself, then try to locate where thier jungler is starting with. So you wont waste your time travelling if your guest is wrong.
I usually went long way to sidelane to ambush buff from there...if guess is wrong i can just hook and help sidelaner instead...at least sidelaner enemies will flicker and give little bit advantage to my sidelaner...if they're not dumb
I still dont understand why thete are games in which the mqge doesnt check the lito mid bush asap so I can check the other posible route for franco. Then other times when I go Mage I wonder why like 2/3 just love to delay the jg farm by staying near the creep instead of preventing ganks or invades... Hell I still remember a game in which an over 1000 games tigreal instead of delaying the enemy Hylos just went ahead and pushed him towards our Gusion you can guess who died miserably and even got his buff stolen.
What i can suggest is that, if there is an extra fighter (roamer role) on ur team, then have him follow u in the first minute, and then pick a buff to invade and get close to that side. If u guessed right, then u can try delaying enemy jungler's farm with the help of ur roamer fighter. If u guessed wrong, then u can help the roamer fighter steal the buff instead so when the enemy jungler rotates to that buff he will be disappointed to find it gone Edit: if there is someone guarding that area then it would be harder to do it

The worst part as a tank is when you literally tank all 5 ultimate from the enemies yet when your allies killed them you don't get any assist The pain
Franco isn't a traditional tank where you charge in with easy mechanics. He's not tanky compared to other tank or even some fighters. He excels at locking down those op heros and ganking / catching people off guard. I'm a Franco main and if you master his hook the enemies get so nervous when they see you makes it hilarious.
Actually Franco is quite beefy on his own. But I do agree in the meaning he is not frontliner, at least at the beginning, and he also is not recommended if your team isnt good at following up since most of the time he would be left alone and probably die
@@SfO1450 early to mid game he's probably the least beefiest tank in my opinion. But of course I normally run support emblem because his hooks mana cost is hella high and I enjoy the movement speed for quick rotation.
@@-user404 yeah but when you lock on Franco as a solo tank for the team I expect you to atleast stay at front and take most of hit rather than cowering in mage's back missing every hooks. Damn Franco mains can be annoying sometimes
Como un humilde argentino con el suficiente inglés para leerlo pero no como para escicharlo aprecio enormemente los subtítulos que siempre están, sos el mejor
Yeah, it happened to me several times. As a tank instead of wasting time helping the core farm I usually focus on disrupting the enemy's core farming using flame shot. When there's a turtle available I always focus on enemy core incase he use retri. But noooooooo, I still got blame because our core is too stupid to use haya when the enemy line up got estes and 3 tanky heroes. There's even a stupid Roger core that focus on kill instead of turtle when the 3 enemy is down. I even outdamage him as a full tank build with higher kill and 17 assist with only 6 deaths and I still got blame. Lol
My game with Belerick. I got a Roger thst died 10 times. Never did a turtle --I stopped even trying to disrupt it as our Cecilion was also too busy spamming his skills NON STOP (whic means he never had mana) and our Wan only pushed towers. In the end I had more damage than Roger and Wan was a nightmare to enemy's Karina and Ruby. Only Guiniviere helped me in tfs
@@noidea2338 I use them on Johnson, you can use use them to cancel enemies skill like odette or pharsa. Help teammates escape since it got a knock back, you can also use it to delay the enemy core farming.
3:33 This is ten percent luck Twenty percent skill Fifteen percent concentrated power of will Five percent pleasure Fifty percent pain And a hundred percent reason to remember the name
Day 31 of asking Betosky to play Thamuz. Also the feeling of getting blamed by your teammates even if you do good is relatable especially if you are carrying as the core
@@StressHaze Always buy cheap defense items like Stealth Robe which gives Magic Def and Health,Dreadnaught armor which gives you lots of survivability against physical heroes. Also buy Elegant gem so u don't have to recall
@@StressHaze Thamuz goes well with vengance and blood axe, but he is more of a Poke fighter in the early game than a go for it fighter. Then when he gets his ult his survivality gets top notch. But do mind one shot heroes as he has short distance dash. Normaly I play him with blood axe, endless battle, oracle, ice dominance radiant armor or athenas shield (depending in the fighter is mage fighther) or antique cuirass or apoc if the enemy is an annoying fighter which relies on skills or attacks. Also yea it will be wise to use blood axe + apoc + blood festival + vengance if you have freya or esme as your enemies.
This is the first time I'm seeing beto spamming recall and type something like 'hah' in chat.... It's still cute, I've always wanted to see beto do that
One of the things I hate the most when playing Franco, is that many players will blame you because you couldn't land a hook out of many. As if they could do any better...
As a solo tank main who has reached Mythic twice, I can assure you that tanks have huge impact on the game. A great ultimate from Tigreal that gets 4 kills is equivalent to a Maniac 😌
yve keeps blaming beto. but what yve does not know is that there are two kinds of tank. initiator tanks and guard tanks. initiator tanks are meant to start clashes and provide assistance to lanes while guard tanks have cc skills to cover their core and vital damage dealers. initiator tanks include: franco, baxia, belerick, tigreal guard tanks include: lolita, khufra, akai franco is a initiator tank as his skill set allows his team to get a quick kill on the carry and therefore it is more beneficial he roams than to stay with mage. that yve's mindset is wrong as not all tanks are designed the same. yve expecting franco to babysit her like a cover tank for her is unreasonable which she wouldn't need if she practice good timing and good positioning. her expectations of franco is overall inefficient
I would say even more pressured role than core.. As tank has to always keep checking maps to avoid gank for the teammates and also gank enemy team.. A good initiation and team fight is yours.. A wrong initiation and your whole team dies
most ppl who do not play tank do not understand not all tanks are built the same. to them tanks are just tanks. so they blame tank for not babysitting them etc... some tanks like baxia can't protect teammates and is reliant having the team initiate the fight. if the enemy team initiates, then it would be a losing end for baxia's team
This usually happens everytime I'm using tank. I remember that time when I tried using Hylos, our jungler are so inexperienced and put the blame on me everytime he died. But I'm glad he didn't get the MVP tho, I am. EMoTional DamAgE :>
As a tank I do understand that there are lots of times that we get blamed even if we are playing our best. But here you should point out a few mistakes you made too. For example when they were taking the lord and Miya killed both Aulus and Popol or when you tried to anticipate Lancelot's escape route. In one you where killing minions in the middle lane instead of giving vision to your team mates, which let Miya go and kill them both, in the other one, Lancelot actually sold Miya who was in the bush, but if you used flicker and ult then you would have saved Popol and Aulus there. It was quite fortunate that Miya never tried to reposition during the TFs, if not she would have been more of a nightmare. And again, as a main tank I do understand how frustrating it can be ti have toxic teammates or inexperienced jungles, but also I know there are times in which I made mistakes and just saying those I noticed in this match
Tanks are usually blamed but like people should know that tanks can also carry and bring back the team, if they successfully manage to crowd control the enemy they can a pain the but for the other team.
Hey Beto!!! Love your videos and content!! I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. I got stuck in Epic and found your video stream and I just got to Legend using your tips. Goin for Mythic! Already winning matches in this rank too!
Hahahaha min: 9:55 when faramis go is back for Beto, in my head I hear: 'Call a ambulance, but no for me' hahaha great job boy, un abrazo enorme desde LATAM saludos desde Paraguay
"No matter how well you do, if things don't go smoothly, you still get blamed for it" Great jungle/core players I met who got blamed by a toxic marksman/fighter: "so true, so true"
In late game enemy are less spread out and most of the time stay a bit close together to avoid getting killed by a pesky assassin and most of the time junglers enter the fight late so the get hooked less.
Tanks are by far the most dangerous on the battlefield. Tough to kill, can sustain and keep you in sight for their team, can prettt much change a game just by defense alone.
XD Nice hooks there. I can't hook at all if it was me. Nice game though. Blamers be blamers. P.s. Here have some 🍤🍤🍤🍤🍤. Hopefully you'd make a Ruby gameplay in the near future.
I always get blamed by my teammates and sometimes my friends whenever I fail to land my hooks, but we mostly win because I know what are the important objectives. Sometimes it's just hard to use Franco especially when the enemies know how to counter him, so I play more smart and be unpredictable.
The best way to play Franco is to be patient at using his ult, don’t use it when your on a team fight, because cc enemies can just cancel your ult and it would be a waste, it’s okay if you missed hook many times, but atleast, you did well to play as a tank.
Day 35 of asking Beto to play Thamuz. Fun fact: Beto has played 10,589 matches and not one match has he played Thamuz, Thamuz is also the only hero he still has 0 matches with.
Sometimes playing solo is great but most of the time it's really terrifying knowing many trolls are playing solo.. but everytime I watch Beto's vid I inspired to play solo again .. but then again as always shit happens ...
As a tank player I've always been blamed for no reason most of the time the team mates always takes fights unnecessarily and after losing the fight I am the one to get blamed lol😂
Dude this is so true, im a tigreal main, and i use arrival for him, and they trash talk me for using arrival, but in the end of the battle i always mvp
As a tank player I can really resonate( plz suggest me a better word) with this.... I always have a dumbass mm and mage who deal even lesser damage than a fking tank.... I alway go for counter builds and vengeance for spell to deal damage.... My point is that if you can't deal any damage then pick a fking tank and let better people carry the game.... Instead of being a pain in the butt and picking whatever you want for satisfying your ego.....
I always get blamed even if I'm playing any other roles and most of the time it ain't even my fault , like they made the decision to go in the fight when none of your teammates are even near
Yes very true and the most painful thing is to meet a complete noob player who is feeding and at the same time blaming the 1s who are trying hard to focus on the game. God Yu zong has experienced it so many times cause I play solo most of the time)
That's right even if you get most of the shot calls you still get blamed even if you played good.. I only experience it here in ML community. I am a tank/support role and I played Dota, LoL and other MOBA games but ML community deslike tank and support roles..
The one that gets the most blame imo is always the jg cause it is usually the most critical role in most of the games you play. He gives you a head start by ganking and getting turtles? You most likely win. He doesn’t adjust to enemy jg early ganking? You guys most likely lose etc. I personally don’t play that role but it’s probably the hardest role and most thankless too cause no one sees everything they do but they see all the mistakes and lack of adjustments throughout the game. You either play “perfect” or get flamed
Its easy to know the level of a jungler in his kills of ennemy heroes and turtle, contrary to a tank its hard to know f hes to blame or not, cause most of the time hes dont get the kill or the support of kills
Happens all the time. They throw themselves out of position and blame me for not committing suicide with them lol. But oh well, landing hooks is satisfying at least. And for the buff prediction part, just stay in middle lane until the buff spawns, listen to the sfx and you're good to go. Had a good time with franco just now as well, if you're hesitating using him, just go for it. You'll do couple of games with chocolate for sure but you'll get the hang of it.
I was playing tigreal, and my balmond who kept feeding was complaining that I didn't get any kills.. I told him that I am a fricking support/tank and I am not the one who should be getting kills, later I managed to pull 4 enemies in my ult (satisfying as heck), our vale got maniac and we won the game, but playing tank in solo is so frustrating, complaining abt ur tank not getting kills lol, epic stuff, I wish I got higher in rank where my teammates actually know how to play
A good tank/support user will always be the most annoying player for an enemy team. I myself use Jawhead tank and my enemies wouldn't go near me if I use my 2nd skill and it is funny seing them run to their base. The only sad thing about being a solo tank is that when I make a good iq play 70% of the time no one will follow it up. Although it all matters in the end game.
