If you're going akai jungle, make sure your team has sufficient dmg to compensate for lacking dps or burst jungler, tank junglers are surprisingly good for early to mid but in late game, they just acts like a normal tank but with a bit of dmg and retri carrier so try to get at least 1 late game hero just to be safe
@@Richardseven75491 the dmg in the emblem is not that enough to kill bulkier heroes in one on one, they can still solo those squishies but they need the teams dmg in dealing with them, I mean they can't 1v5 unlike other jungle but still useful
I've been playing Akai jungle for probably a year and a half now. He was good before the revamp and even better after. I'm glad people are finally catching on.

I really liked Akai before the revamp, but this gives him a lot more options, rather than the basic combo. Really glad they fixed the revamp, some of the things they were planning were really bad. Like when Akai pushed HIMSELF, if they implemented that, I would never have played Akai.
Really think what is helping a lot is his damage scaling with his HP (Second skill and marked enemies) Just think of how OP Akai would be if he could get a tiny bit more of shield from his passive.

Even if his 1st skill's range got nerfed, I think it's a fair deal since he no longer needs his 2nd to CC and it now knocks up the enemy instead of stun
Also this is a suggestion Beto maybe use ice retri next time to boost movement speed and to chase, I use ice retri more because of that. Just a suggestion cuz behemoth’s retri doesn’t heal much apart from like 600-400 hp

Balmond 2nd skill and Akai ult makes a perfect scenario for double cyclone 😂😂😂 also Day 98/100 to ask Beto to play Selena because of the lady Vengeance skin
Beto you have to try this... Akai can pass through the thickest wall with his first skill something no other hero can do even with flicker try it out and see it helps alot with ganks... Oops you made mention of it in 9:36 maybe we meant the same thing
akai with assasin build is also suprisingly good. ult alone can almost kill any decent sized hp heroes and with the mov spd, you can basically follow up and pin them down
It's been may be 2 years , Akai was too useless and underrated , Because i used to Play him , i don't think it's not too good or bad of his revamp but better ult than before , GG bro . Thanks for the tips and tricks , always great full to watch your videos .
I think some of you still don't know. Retribution can be use a bit earlier than the mark shows up because of the jgl emblem that deal 20% more to objective. So if you have jgl emblem and enemy don't, your retribution to objective is way stronger so you don't have to wait for the mark to shows up to use retri.
