Here's an unusual one... A wireless keyboard that rolls up and houses a detachable bluetooth speaker. It's called the Compectus and is currently featured on Indiegogo. This keyboard is incredibly slim (to facilitate the rolling function), features several function keys and rechargeable battery. The design of the Compectus is very similar to a keyboard manufactured by LG called the Rolly though that keyboard does not feature any built-in sound.

The rollable keyboard is a good idea. Using a soundbar to hold your phone like a laptop is even better. The biggest issue i see is the small size of a keyboard. Your hands seemed crunched up like they were struggling and your typos were a result of that

I think it's a great device as my grandad wanted a keyboard since he can type faster and he also wanted a louder speaker for his ipad as he has hearing problems so it can come in very useful to some people.
