I`m loving my chz, have had it now for couple of weeks. Didn’t find laptop pocket to be issue with 13” laptop because it’s stretchy. But noticed that you can’t pack the inner top pocket with heavy items as it will start to sag. Overall very good bag with excellent build quality!
Do you ever need to get out the laptop when the bag's packed to capacity? I'm thinking of using it as a travel bag so it'll be full, just wondering whether it'll be a pain to get the laptop out.
Looks like a pretty smart bag, if only it had its own laptop access. You talk a lot in your reviews about back sweat and that it’s basically inevitable when you ride. Do you think there is a difference between something like this back panel and the beefed-up Boundary Supply in real life? I like this bag and the CPL24 much more but I live in Florida and it’s always hot. Thanks!
I sweat pretty easily so for me it feels about the same, but I look at it as a yes/no kind of thing. Not necessarily on a sweat scale of 1 - 10. Noticeable differences are the packs that sit very flat/stiff against the back, they physically make less contact so it can feel a bit more airy. PD Everyday Pack and the TAD Axiom come to mind.
HumorousMaximus I am a sweaty bastard too, especially when I ride so it might be unavoidable. Do you mean that a firm frame sheet helps more than air mesh foam channels?
Rigidness helps in that is doesn’t hug your back, and there’s less touch points against the back, allowing more breathing room. At the cost of comfort usually. Nothing notable on different foam patterns. From a sweat standpoint.
