Hey Dave! Recent adopter of Evernote and I wanted to let you know I've really been enjoying your approach to breaking it down. I've tried a lot of different channels to find good information and this has been the most helpful series to help my brain process how I want to build it from the ground up. I appreciate you! :)
Hi Dave, I have used Evernote for many years and I have taught myself, but it is lovely to listen to your presentation. I had a stroke during the lockdown and my brain lost the use of Evernote. I am really please that I am getting this back in my life.... slowly.
Dave! This is so great! I'm just starting out using Evernote as well as Mac and Google along with starting a new job so the pace at which you are teaching is PERFECT for me. I love the way you articulate and explain each feature and will be watching all your teaching videos! I'd love to see you do some lessons on Gmail, MAC features, and Google too! :) A++ for this tutorial! Thank you!
Kelly - Thank you. You made my day. I hope that you would consider subscribing to my videos, so that you will know when I publish more. And there are more on the way. I've been considering expanding into tutorials for Mac and other techie things. I appreciate your encouragement. Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
I downloaded Evernote a couple of years ago, but just could never quite get it figured it out. You are making it so much easier to understand. I am looking for a type of Database to keep up with customers orders and such. So I can look and instantly and see what someone purchased while speaking with them. Do you see this as an easy task in Evernote?
Thanks for this great resource. I am using Evernote for working with an employer that only permits saving data, notes etc., on my own hard drive. So, I cannot save to the internet or cloud. Will Evernote save notebooks to ONLY my local hard drive and not to a cloud or website. Thanks for your answer Mr Edwards.
It is unfortunate that your employer allows you to use Evernote, as I believe its security protocols match industry standards. Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
Carlos, stacking folders is easy. Check out these instructions. help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314158-Create-a-notebook-stack Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
Hi I started Evernote last evening for the 2nd time. I had an account almost a decade ago. Anyway I did some work last evening, but when I went back in today it was locked. Asked me to reset my password, I did I also clicked to revoke all other windows (or somn so) and I lost my work from last night. I had no idea that Evernote was trying to merge both accounts. I thought maybe someone somewhere got into it or something. The bottom line is I lost my work from last night how do I get it back?
You will probably need to put in a help ticket with Evernote so they can straighten out your account. evernote.com/contact Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
Deepti - After spending much of my early career as a news presenter...I guess it's an occupational hazard or perk? Also proud to be a grandpa. Best job ever. - Dave ( www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com )
I followed your directions: Evernote won't let me continue until I upgrade. It's forcing me to unsync my device (only cell phone and laptop) in order to continue. Now that both devices are unsynced, I can't use Evernote. I thought I could have 2 devices for free. I've only added about 6 notebooks (all of them still empty). Suggestions?
Leassia, I have never seen that happen. I suggest you file a trouble ticket with Evernote and they can help you sort it out. My guess is that it is a glitch related to dual identities. Dave www.DaveEdwardsMedia.com
Please tell me how to ADJ. font size? I did touch something and everything went small. Is Evernote making it painful to use so I would upgrade to the pay version? I am on the Free version Window 10. it is as tiny as you have shown on the youtube video.
