The two-way sync between #Evernote and #Google #Calendar is almost here. I thought it would be a good idea to show how it works and also use the opportunity to explain the 3 different calendars you can use on Evernote.

Hi everyone, I've linked my Google Calendar account with Evernote, and I can see my calendar events in Evernote. However, when I create an event in Evernote, it doesn't appear in my Google Calendar. On the other hand, events created in Google Calendar do show up in Evernote. Does anyone know how to change the settings so that events created in Evernote also sync to Google Calendar? Are there specific integration settings I need to adjust, or do I need to use external tools like Zapier or IFTTT? Thanks in advance for your help!

Vlad, I'm using 10.94.3 of EN on Windows 10. I've disconnected and reconnected my Google calendar, but when I try to create an event in EN, the only option I have is the EN calendar-there is no dropdown offering me the Google calendar. Do I need to be using the Professional version of EN to get this feature?

Hi, thanks a ton for your informative videos. One thing to ask. Is there a deliberate decision to not add REPEAT function in Events in Evernote calendar? The functionalities of task can be replicated to events also, and it seems to obvious but I don't see it. I want to add repeated events in my calendar and i do this all the time in my google calendar but here i cannot do this in Evernote calendar. I think it should be there. Just letting you know so that if possible, you can send this feedback to Bending spoon. What do you say?

Hi @MaheshSharma121, honestly I have no idea. But one thing I have noticed about Bending Spoons is that they tend to test new features before fully implementing them. So, maybe we'll see the other calendar functionalities in the future. I sent them your feedback 😉

@@vladcampos thanks a ton for your reply. Yes I have also noticed that they test new features before implementing and I am waiting for this function which actually completes the calendar at par . And I thank you also and appreciate your consistent videos on the Evernote development and I make sure I don't miss any of your informative and insightful videos. Good work.

Evernote finally integrates its own calendar, but what I notice is that you can only create events from the PC application. On the mobile you can only see the calendar but it does not allow you to create events, but you can create tasks, a big failure, since the main use is observed using a mobile device

It's coming. Bending Spoons has a different approach to new feature releases. They first do it on the desktop and web apps, let users test it for a while to make sure everything is okay, and only then bring it to mobile.

Any idea why mine is inactivate to choose day/week/month, but only day? I’m paying personal account.
@vladcampos

What do you mean by that? Are you talking about calendar view? I could be wrong, but I don't remember that being a paid feature. Are you running the latest version?

None of theses calendars are what I need. I use an annual paper calendar(monthly) which is distributed by a charitable organization for noting upcoming social events, medical appointments, service appointments, businessess appointments/deadlines (start time only), holidays in countries where I do business, and note events such as conventions and travel which span more than 1 day. In Evernote, I keep more detailed information such as a running note for medical appointments , tests and proceedures by year with "by or after" for future appointments. I have notebooks/notes for travel, business/ holidays with relevant details. Task lists get their own listings where approriate in Evernote. For temporary use for business and personal use, I might put tracking info such as date/delivery service/date expected in EN scratchpad note and del when delivery complete although sometimes it is more efficient to follow links in email or check company websites for tracking.

A full two weeks has gone by and still no word on when this will be available for normal subscribers. What's the point of posting about features we common users can't use? I guess I'm supposed to be excited? I'm just frustrated. Campos, you're wasting my time with clickbait. How is this helpful?
@vladcampos
@vladcampos 6 дней назад
I'm sorry for that. I can assure you it has nothing to do with making people excited about it. Publishing was my decision because I believed people would be happy to know about it. And it was never meant to be clickbaity. I just wanted to share some good news. I was allowed to publicly share it because they were about to release it. That's it. Probably they fund a bug that they are working on. Every so often it happens with these beta features. After all, that is the point of releasing a beta version of a feature. Anyway, because of this video (this situation), I'll most likely stop publishing this kind of video.

It's frustrating that you skipped right over the information about when common users can expect to use this feature? Not your best video 😞

@@vladcampos I'm super excited about this feature coming to Evernote. Some of the improvements since Bending Spoons took over are sort of eh so so. But this one hits me where I live. The little notes attached to calendar events is the cats meow in my opinion. Event specific tasks, oh baby. I'm glad you made the video because that means we're close. When it does roll out you'll find me doing the happy dance in the streets. Love it!
