This is VERY similar to how I root rot solo on my Shaman. Most mobs in Skyfire are non summoning and rootable with the exception of about half the exp and half the hp. Shaman dots aren't as powerful as a Necros, so there are some differences. The Shamans AE type VP root is really a blast to use as I gather 10 mobs and get them to cluster as I pull them to a safe spot and cast the root on the group. This way I don't run around pulling mobs each time and can just cast dot after dot on the group and watch them melt. I totally agree on the dot and forget them mindset. On the Skyfire mobs I have to cast 5 dots on each of them, but before the root drops they die from those dots. Also agree with the relaxing mindless action of this method. Shaman are not Necros but we obviously share a common ancestor : )
can you do this starting at lvl 60ish? wound spells do not exist before 95, so most people on heroic toons are not going to have this stuff. or on TLP servers. Are these like "splart" line spells? building in damage the longer they are on the target?

Im about a year late as I just started doing some searching for necro info after starting back up. Do you have any videos on gear and what clickies you use normally and how often? I know about the anguish robe which I don't have yet and that dagger looks familiar although I don't remember what it is. It looks like you have about 5-7 items for click effects.
Where do you kill in Cobalt Scar? I've gotten to the point where killing stuff in GD is pretty efficient for me, but I'd really like to get my hands on some crystallized restless ores.
I am 115 and my root and pestilence persistent breaks in about 5-10 seconds when I root rot. I have flesh to venom and is that considered DD. I am checking to make sure than none of my augs are DD also. Any suggestions?
Hi again :) i tryed to cast lvl 115, then lvl 110, 105, 100 and 95 of those wounds-spells, they whent on, at the spell line-up on the mob only one at a time, found that to be a bit sad, do you know if that is a AA to fiks or what i need to do? But agin ty alot for good wideo my friend :)
I have 101 necro my main is a different class been pulling my necro back out. I take you guys can have several spell sets for root rotting to have more damage on mobs?
I just started playing again since omens or discord. Your spell bar has 12 gems? Is that for being an “all access” member or owning the most recent expansion?
Yes, it's actually even 13 now, I didn't have the AA for the last one at the time I recorded this. Since it's an AA, Mnemonic Retention, free members are limited in how many AA they can had, so not sure you could unlock all with a free account.
I just tried using wounds line up and it did not stake for me is this nerfed? I have a lvl 106 necro ..... OOPs my mistake I did not let spells cool down fast enough in my hotkey

The root is called Pestilent Paralysis, 3 minutes, won't break unless you DD or Melee it. It's first available at level 85, its like 2 minutes or so then then as you rank up it increases. Until you've got that you should mostly be kiting things.
SMH. I remember doing around 2k non crit dmg in a group and everyone thought I was a God... With numbers like that, do Necros solo their Epic 2.0's now?! Do they even bother getting 2.0's?? I had the server first and now it feels like nothing.
