Avix has the Survivor away team trait, and is therefore essential in regularly critting Lead an Expedition, which provides tons of Away Team store credits, allowing you to buy blueprints.
Wow that's thorough lol. Agree that 5 is the most important officer in the game. But 3, 5, 10 and Quark should be on a higher tier than the other miners
Rather dismayed to hear that Data, despite being so rare, has so little value. Despite playing the game for a year now, I’m still missing some critical officers that many players have long since acquired. Even my admiral was impressed/shocked when I told him that I had him. He was rather amused when I could not definitively tell him how or when I acquired him as I did not know. All I know is one day, he was just there about six months ago 😄
Pretty high, while I don't like them and I think they're bad for the PvP game, they are indisputably the new strongest PvP officers. So I think Carol and Billups are probably S+ tier, Ransom and Shaxs an S and Dr T'ana an A and the Admiral Freeman is a nice utility for faction grinding, probably also an A. So yeah, powerful but I don't like them :)
If you get shards for the "useless" ones, level them up. Their level is added to the total officer level needed to upgrade the mess hall avix's 30 points are just as valuable as grush's
I watched the entire thing, and here's my feedback: I'm purrprised you categorized Tendi as A, not S or S+, but Damar in S+ instead of A. I understand that PVP is important for some players, but not for all players. Damar is ONLY useful in PVP while Tendi is, just like Mariner, super useful in PVE, PVP, anywhere. Overall though I really agree with all the officer ranks you did. :) Also, sourcing for Jaylah is HORRIBLE. ^^ TNG Cadets it was Data, not Troi. :) SNW La'an is great on a Vi'Dar with SNW Pike and Uhura. :) As for Tom Paris, I would have gotten him if I had actually clicked on his BD ability, but I always somehow ended up clicking on his officer ability which I assumed to be the BD ability ... oh well, next event store maybe I can source him. Also, I'm still waiting for a BD warp range officer. Would you say Marcus-Harrison-Zhou is a better yellow hustle crew than Yuki-Marcus-Harrison? And finally, could you purrhaps share your Tier List on the Tiermaker website, so I could also make one with all the new officers added to the game up to Voyager Part 4?
Yeah, I did see Rev's video on Tendi and though he really really over-rated her. Tendi really only adds maybe 2 to 5% to your Hull Health in total, so if you were able to kill like 50 hostiles in a run before, you can maybe do 51 or 52 now, I don't think that's as important as he seems to think. But an officer like Mariner is actually increasing your total damage 7 to 11% depending on your research, Odo may be increasing it 5-10% and someone like Hugh can be increasing your damage output 200% or more. So just in terms of how much the officer helps she's like the 4th best for hostile grinding, and 3rd best for Armadas and 5th best for PvP I do tend to put PvP as #1, that is based on people's priorities and server and stuff, but I figure what is the good of any of this stuff if it's not for fighting people? Fighting Hostiles is easy and its about mild efficiencies, but in PvP you either win or lose. The Yuki vs Zhou thing often depends a lot on the length of the fight, if you're getting like 10+ round fights, I find Yuki draining the shield pays off more, if its a short fight she's not really as helpful. @@MatthewBluefox Nice, I like the expansion to Warp 10, definitely allows more differentiation. As a Constantly at war player it feels crazy seeing strike teams in Warp 2 and stuff :)
@@EnderSword At my ops level, they would just be away team or below deck fodder. :) Same with Damar etc. But I do understand that your point of view is different, you're a much higher ops level and I think you also occasionally spend, so you wanna be competitive and then you obviously need officers like Damar or the ST crews. :) Thank you for the positive feedback to my "warp-o-meter". :)
Just a few notes. Helvia and Domitia on a D'Vor / Feesha is valuable if your base is a long warp from a lat system. Maxing out cargo on non-lat mining Monday is a worthwhile gamble. A good alternate exchange grinding crew is Ahvix/Sesha/Ro Mudd. Higher crit chance/higher penetration/higher crit damage/higher damage. Useful crew on the Heavy Hitter events. Those three Mudd officers have a niche. Komal is the only engineering synergy officer for Kras. That should get him up to a D. Vemet's revive ability is useful for some PvP events and territory capture. I've never found Changeling Kira's officer ability to even be noticeable. During the course of an armada, mitigation only improves 1-2%.
I have watched most of your videos and AI do like them but I do have to disagree about the new Data and Badgy. Badgy actually is a huge difference on Voyager as that is my biggest ship on lower deck. Data on the pickle against Texas hostiles with the SNW crew, it is the isolytic cascade which seems to make the difference
I'm using Picard in Faction Grinding and anything I want the loot boost now, E-Pic, E-Data, Five The isolytic is good for things like Q trials too, but i find most normal hostile grinding doesn't last enough rounds for me to notice the ramp up of damage. Riker I like for Wave defense because of impulse speed, but beyond that, not too important, and Troi doesn't really seem useful to me yet, her shield stripping ability seems too small, but below deck she'll add some damage. I have unlocked those last 2 yet so maybe find some other use once I unlock them, but I think they're a little more gimmicky
Culber has a use - he's part of the summoning crew should be at least C every time i use the disco he's on it. Great list overall but a couple of strange things.. Picard > Pike - he gets the exact bonus same as Pike but he has a combat officer ability and works where Pike doesn't. Only time I use Pike over Picard is for levelling a ship. I also think you're overrating T'laan. Any time you can use her you're likely better off with SNW or Janeway. Jw is very good on Hirogen, Probes and a few other things for ships that fire many shots per round.
I agree with the Culber one, probably should get a bump up based on that. Picard though, I'm still not as sold, and less because Picard himself isn't technically better but that Pike-Moreau seems in everyway superior to Picard-Beverly So maybe that's more a Beverly issue, but she might not be enough defense to max your mitigation, while Moreau will max your mitigation 100% of the time no matter how big the target is. For the T'laan one, I think its more a matter of level of the person, until mid to late 30s at least a person isn't going to have access to a SNW crew and likely not the Janeway crews due to their sourcing being a bit level locked. T'laan also still has a role on some of the very big things and Q trials in particular, when Janeway would simply get your shield blown off quickly, and SNW isn't sufficient A lot of this is obviously very based on levels, some officers are more valuable at certain level ranges
I guess what I'm saying is they aren't essential either. As sources of mining research increased in the game, officer abilities didn't keep up in comparison. So using the same ship without a mining crew and with a full correct mining crew produces a different of only several percentage points. Mostly becuase you're adding a bonus of like 100-300% to a pre-existing bonus from the ship and research of 5000%
@@EnderSword the mining officers are an essential way of increasing the opc values. That means you can mine nodes without going opc. It frustrates those who have the same underlying psychology as child molesters and like to play pirate.
