As a coaster enthusiast, I started laughing when he complained about having to wait for a long time to ride the biggest new coaster of 2023 and the lockers. Like bro for any new coaster you have to wait at least 2 hours on opening day and lockers is likely a rule on at least 1 rollercoaster if you go to a park. Let’s all ride a surf coaster where you have to stand up and let’s also bring our bags on the ride, that’l work lol Also the thing about the cameras is not because it interrupts riders or something. The thing is, alot of people who film on rides lose their cameras etc when they’re on the ride. Imagine the ride going over a path and you drop your camera. It’ll likely fall on somebody and that can cause some serious injuries

3:47 Just my stupid Thoosie (Coaster Enthusiast) butt here to say that something probably went wrong with the mechanic's of the ride in front, that is called a trim brake. They can be on flat track, hills, chainlifts, and are always found at the stations, and act as stopping a train for safety reasons. If the train in front has not passed the trim brake in front of yours, they will stop the trains to prevent them from colliding, but it creates a domino effect, that train could be stopping because of the one in front, and that one because of the one infront etc etc. One train stopping can create a domino effect, which is why someone at the station probably pulled they're phone out like an idiot. (Don't be that person, your phone will fly and you might lose EVEN MORE money to amusement parks.) Sorry for wasting your time.

Okay so to begin my enthusiast rant, First off the upstop wheels keep the train from falling of the tracks. Also on Expedition Everest, you are supposed to stop at the broken track piece (If you see the tires on the pov they keep it up) and you also stop on the part with the shadow of a yeti. 9:43 Yesterday, at Canada’s Wonderland, I had to wait 90 minutes in line for Leviathan, the biggest rollercoaster here in Canada. It was my first time at the park, and I was hoping the wait was worth it. It ended up being the best ride I’ve ever been on in my life, and I’ve gone to Disney and Universal before.

You think this was horrible? Not even a month ago, I had a SCHOOL TRIP (keep in mind) where my band (was a percussionist in said band) went to Cedar Point. We were told to get back to the front of the park by 7:45 PM. Now, me and one of my friends went to ride the newest and coolest ride in town, Steel Vengeance (the wild mouse was closed that day so we did Steel Vengeance instead). We both entered the about 2-hour long line for the ride at around 4:00 PM. Keep in mind, for those of you who don't live in Ohio, that the ride was near the back of the park. Now, we wait two hours, and as we approach the front of the line, we are told to put our watches and phones and whatnot into these lockers because the ride has certain parts that would guarantee the loss of your loose items. Note that this caused us to not know the time from there on until we disembarked. Now, we suddenly get to the VERY FRONT of the line, even boarded the train, when maintenance is called for one of the trains. This, which takes about 100 minutes or so (again, didn't know the time), was so long that the operators at the front tried desperately to entertain us all while we waited. Remember, me and my friend were waiting AT THE VERY FRONT! Obviously, we wouldn't give up our first ever time riding this since we were AT THE VERY FRONT (literally, at the gate leading to the train itself). So, maintenance ends, test runs succeed, and we get on. The ride was most certainly worth it. But that's only half of the story. When we get off, I retrieve my phone. (thank god I even took it with me in the first place, because) When I place it in my hand, I realize that we have waited in line for almost 4 hours. Time? 7:45 PM. Because Steel Vengeance is in the back, my friend and I had about a mile to run. As we begin to run, I call my friend's father, who finally gets in contact with us after wondering for like maybe half an hour about where the hell we are. Note that I'm not too fit, but I am not a full-on Discord moderator. I wasn't too overweight (about 180 pounds for 14). My friend was skinny as hell (if you ever encounter him, don't call him that, he will retaliate). Funnily enough, I was the one with more energy. My poor friend slows to breathe every 2 minutes or so. Because he does, I slow down for him. After all, it's Cedar Point. For someone his height, he would be easy to lose. It took us 15 grueling minutes to finally get back to the front, to find my friend's extremely relieved father and an extremely ticked-off band director. He wondered where the hell we've been, and I explain to him everything that happened leading up to the cause of this. Even then, he's still pretty annoyed. Look, man. You are looking at someone who's entirely dehydrated, and his poor friend who is suffering even worse. I mean, I don't blame him. Gotta get back home by 10:00 PM (we live near Toledo). Even then, this story remains unfinished. Now, because we ran a mile, my friend was walking very slowly, and I was trembling. Luckily, my bus was near the front of the parking lot. So, we board, and my friend collapses. And I just sit there, processing what the hell just unfolded. Then comes the one the only, the very, very annoying, polar enemy of mine, and one of my friend's least favorites in the entire school. She tries to mock us and even tries to hurt us. I wasn't having any of it. I begin to tell her that my friend and I just weren't in for it right now. She didn't listen. She continued. I begin to shout. The bus driver notices, tells me to calm down, and threatens my enemy to have her disembark should she not stop. Unlike most bus drivers, this one was very friendly and understanding to those who are suffering, or in my case, literally ran a mile using only energy and adrenaline. That threat from the bus driver gets my enemy to stop. And what happens next is an hour-long drive that pretty much has me turning into a GPS for the bus driver and me reflecting on what I just experienced. Finally, this insane story comes to an end. Had I not had caring supervisors, I might have gotten detention for this, and my enemy would have had her way. For those of you with the attention span of a potato, I wait 4 hours to get on a ride. Once I get off, I run to get back to the front of the park, where my polar enemy tries to hurt us even more. Had none of it, shouted, enemy gets threatened, calms down, and I get back home an hour behind schedule.

Just went to the best amusement park I’ve ever been to in my life (Canada’s Wonderland), and the next day one of my favourite RU-vidrs uploads a vid about amusement parks. Absolutely perfect timing.

As a coaster enthusiast, I absolutely adore most amusement parks. Very expensive hobby to have, but it’s so much fun for me! To date i have 57 Credits (Thoosie term for how many different coasters you have riden). Also, as for the guy with the camera, they made him put it away because if he didn’t i could have been a safety issue and it could fall off him and hit someone. Hope that helps :)

I was at Efteling (Dutch theme park) a week ago or so and the day was basically perfect. I didn’t have to wait longer than 20 minutes for a ride. Not even the rollercoasters. In case it is busier there, I know precisely when you should do which attractions. Everyone goes the the rides near the entrance, or the are with all the coasters first. Your job is simply to not do that. After 12:00am or so, many people will have done the coasters and will visit other rides. You will already have done those rides because it was so quiet early in the morning, because everyone rode the coasters first.

2 things: Expedition Everest is supposed to stop at those 2 spots for a while, it’s part of the ride. Also, no matter how big the guy’s camera is, it could still hit somebody else’s head very hard and make them have to go to the hospital.

Worst rollercoaster experience chain

In July I am going to an amusement park called "Cedar Point" and I've been there. The hotels are indeed pricy, lines are long, food here is decent and I do have to rush to get to very popular rides. This video basically sums up my experience with my Family.

I worked as a costumed character (face, not mascot) at a Six Flags park. When I posed with guests for photos, some of them thought it was cute to slap or pinch my butt to catch my reaction on camera. Other times I would have to tell them “Please do not touch me.” When they would try to put their arm around me as if we were dating.

When you go to Knotts, expect GhostRider to be an eternity. It’s literally a 3 hour line every day. You need a skip the line pass or whatever it’s called. Even when you get to Knotts before it opens, it’s still an hour wait. Also, it closes for a long time in the rain and tests for a long time after.

Was at six flags great America last week and we got stuck on the lift hill on Batman. Of course it’s perfectly safe, but everyone is freaking out. This kid started praying and asking God that it would start back up. Less than a minute later it started and I was laughing so much I didn’t even enjoy the ride lol

Disney and Universal are pretty much THE go-to for normies, but for the die-hards who want REAL thrills go to parks like Carowinds (the closest park to me), Busch Gardens (a subsidiary of SeaWorld and the best of them being... Pantheon), and/or Six Flags Over Georgia (a solid 1-2 punch for the state.) And since ArieForce One just opened, I guess you could go there, too.

Theme parks are incredible and will never get tired of them

I had a scary experience on the tower of terror. We got stuck right before the drop in pitch black and they had to extract us to keep us from falling

*Other people when going to an amusement park:* OMG, I'm gonna ride the scariest roller coaster there! *Me when i go to an amusement park:* I have heard many positive reviews about this Vekoma Madhouse 2.0 along with some additional information on dark ride database. As an all around dark ride enthusiast, I am expecting a well thought out ride, decent effects, a compelling story and a masterful IMAScore soundtrack, along with immersive theming and an interesting preshow for it to be in my Top 10 dark rides list. As you know these types of rides are in my opinion way better than the standard Arrow Dynamics Corkscrew looping coasters that the general public won't stop obsessing over. I may also go on some of the parks other dark ride offerings to keep myself occupied for the 8.5 hours that i am here for.

As a coaster enthousiast usaly every ride opens at 10 am in the morning due to noise complaints but like sea world is a mixing between an aquarium and theme park but that not the case here in europe there it always opens 10am

Fast Passes Hit Different Felt Like I was in the Upper Echelon of Society yo also that yeti ride was my first roller coaster ever crazy

I've been to a theme park once for my first time as a school trip to Paulton's Park, it was cool and 2 rides were the most interesting. There was the Flight of the Pterosaur or something and it was my first ride, I constantly felt good and then sick and then good and the one I found the most terrifying (except for the one I didn't even go on), was this water ride called the raging river ride and there were just 2 big 45 degree angle drops, the actual boats had no lap bars, you just had to hold on to these 2 handles for dear life.

The longest I waited for a ride was also about 90 minutes; Maverick at Cedar Point. It was my first time there and I usually don't get a fast pass or anything on the 1st day. (The day after depends on how the 1st day was) I was supposed to get ERT on it but it was sadly delayed so I went on Magnum and Millennium Force instead. For not having fast lane on the 1st time I went there I got to go on 7 coasters which wasn't bad at all- on top of a bunch of re-rides on the two coasters I had ERT for. Then again, Cedar Point generally has long lines (It's my home park now!) but there's been times I got lucky; you just have to time it just right.

One time i had a school trop to a theme park. You had to be in a group with a few other friends. When we arrived the kids in my group were scared of almost every rollercoaster. They only wanted to go on kids rides. (They were 13-14 years old). So i had to spend the whole day walking around the park and on boring kids rides. Idk why did they even come if they dont wanna do anything, so i ended up wasting the whole trip.

I remember going to Disneyland Paris and omfg. We wanted to go to the Laser Tag of Buzz Light Year and guess what. They told us to evacuate just when we were half way of the line. And the Crush's Coaster one was of 85 minutes. We had to wait more than an hour to go a single ride. Just for me to hear a baby crying while we were on the ride with my friends. 👹 Oh and don't get me started with the HyperSpace Mountain. My friends had to wait 120minutes just to ride the rollercoaster😀💀..
