Here in Australia, a sausage in bread isn't a struggle meal, it's a rare* and desired deliacy. (Higher delicacy if it's from Bunnings)

Being broke during college that struggle meals became a staple. It was always the most painful feeling of seeing nothing but tumbleweeds in my fridge. Since dad never came back with the milk, dry cereal was quite the staple growing up and having eaten it so much I decided to add water into my cereal.

At 6 I would be eating peanut butter and jelly in a tortilla 💀💀💀💀

My favorite struggle meal to make (other than ramen) is just a bare minimum sandwich. Bread, meat, cheese and about 30 seconds in the microwave. Simple but elegant. Also, having sleep for a meal is Z-Tier. At least with the water trick, you're hydrated but damn. Just...damn.

I discovered a new struggle meal called “Blood Buns” where you take a burger or hotdog bun and just slather the inside with ketchup. If you don’t have buns, just put it on a slice or bread and it still hits. 10/10 for me

I’d try to have one every day when they were there. 8:06 Toast comes in hella clutch when you get one of THOSE illnesses where you can’t eat any of the stuff you normally can, so you fall back on toast of all things because that’s the only thing you could safely eat without getting any worse.

Yep. I am eating a struggle meal right now. Some leftovers from a box meal and toasted cheese bread since I need my leftovers to last another meal. 😆I have definitely done the water as a struggle meal and I agree with placing that in F tier. But it is at least slightly better than nothing and helps me sleep sometimes.

once all my grandmother had was leftover BBQ chicken, tortillas, beans and cheese so she made BBQ chicken quesadillas and they were DELICIOUS! I've also done the hot dog on a bread slice before, but my uncle made his even better. He cut the hotdog length-wise and turned it into a hot dog sandwich. I thought he was a genius! Also I'm a pop-tart addict and I struggle to get up when I have an early shift so usually I just grab one a go. Sure, I'm hungry an hour later, but at least I ate something.

BANGER SOLO MEALS FROM A KID WITH ALLERGIES 1. Stacked white bread slices thrown in the microwave for 15-30 seconds (bottom piece may be soggy but rest will be good) 2. Celery and peanutbutter (I am allergic to peanuts so I ate it with soybutter but dont use sunbutter that shit's ass) 3. Dill pickles wrapped in turkey or chicken slices 4. Peanutbutter (or soybutter) and turkey/chicken slice sandwich 5. Peanutbutter (or soybutter) and pickle and/or green olive sandwich 6. Russet potato whole, washed, put in microwave (test different times, different area location altitudes will take different times) 7. Boiled red potatoes 8. Oreo cake (As many oreos as you want in a mug, crushed with a fork, then put milk in. Not much, just enough to make the oreos mushy and swamp-like. Put in microwave for 30 seconds at a time, poke with fork repeatedly to check if done. Enjoy. Will be dry and hard to clean mug but it's good for if you can't have a celebratory cake) 9. Tomato sandwich (tomatoes in bread) 10. Fancy holiday hot chocolate (Hershey's chocolate syrup in milk, put a candy cane in, put in microwave for about a minute) 11. Any slices of cheese and ketchup 12. Any slices of cheese and italian salad dressing 13. Tortilla and cheese (cheese on tortilla, thrown in microwave for 30 seconds. Add salsa if you want a goated burrito/quesadilla) EDIT: The main deadly allergens avoided here are nuts, eggs, and fish. To avoid gluten, lettuce can be substituted for bread in sandwiches. To avoid soybutter (also known as wowbutter, made from soy), peanutbutter exists, but sunbutter is also a popular alternative using sunflower seeds. To avoid lactose, tortilla+salsa is still a good combo. The oreo cake cannot be made without milk to my knowledge, but soy/rice/coconut/other milks will work aside from goat/cow milk. Instead of cheese, dipping carrots in italian salad dressing HITS.
