@@shadowkiller6-7 how many times can we inform people like you that its a fucken rebooted universe? You can see that ghost is still alive in new mw2. Why not them both?
8:37 I think when they make a remastered version of MW3 pretty sure were gonna see a little animation like maybe Wallcroft giving Griffin his pistol like Price did to Soap or they gonna add a voiceline for Wallcroft about Griffin's death
I would love a little animation of Wallcroft pulling Griffin and Burns from the car wreck and checking Griffins pulse before hitting the ground an getting burns to his feet
I didn’t notice that griffin or wallcroft actually pointed you out to price, in the og cod when you jumped on the heli. That’s how cpt price was able to help you. You can see this at 3:54
Also it would be cool to see wallcroft in one of the mw22 raids (if those will work like the spec ops missions) as someone telling you what to do over radio or in the next mw game as an ally in a mission or 2
Yeah he says “Downing Street is within the contamination radius” he and burns survived because of their gas masks however all of the cop’s/civilians probably died
I think Wallcroft did have a moment for his teammate, if he was cold he wouldn't have pulled Griffen out of the wreck. After all we were blacked out for a what seems like at least a minute and we were out of sight.
Yes. Wallcroft probably tried talking and feeling for his heartbeat but when he realised Griffin is dead,he just moved on and try to talk to us(Sgt.Burns).
A few facts I wanna give: If you censored the graphic content at the beginning of Mind The Gap, the truck will explode instead of showing Davis Family Vacation. Griffin wasn't Michael Cudlitz's first role in a CoD game. He first voiced Sergeant Glenn Hawkins in Call of Duty 2: The Big Red One. He and a couple of other voice actors were chosen for a role in the game because their experience acting in the miniseries Band of Brothers. Wallcroft appeared as one of the Hero characters in the now removed mobile game, Call of Duty Heroes.
@@Deaglan753 alive but probably wounded. As we see through the opening cutscene in Goalpost (or refer back to the first fact), the truck on Westminster Station exploded.
@@alixon5009 definitely wounded but his last transmission didnt seem too hint that he would be gravely wounded as he seems to speak in a very quick tone without an ounch of pain in him
@@alixon5009 agreed, i do wish too see both them again along with Archer, Toad, Scarecow, Ozone and Roach, maybe not apart of 141 (i am glad to have 141 again but i still perfer national special forces over a coation) but apart of their respected militaries
When I first play the OG MW, I was so confused why all the SAS Crew sounds like Gaz, and I also thought Ghost is Gaz wearing a mask to cover his headshot wounds😂
@@regrubcivals2954not impossible but very much not probable A few people survived headshots thzt went into their forehead If the bullet goes through they are dead but if somehow it doesnt there is a slim chance of survival In ww2 à jewish prisioner was shot in the head and later was found by the allies and was saved He was shot with à hand gun so the caliber and luck saved him but if it is an assault rifle or any other bulllet bigger than 9mm your dead
Honestly considering in the OG MW Griffin was a random character who had about 2 seconds of screen time they probably didn’t think anyone would care. Wallcroft kinda acknowledges his death with the guess it’s just us now line though. I’m sure when they remaster the game they’ll add in a line or add a little animation of Wallcroft standing over his body or something. They’ve been very good at adding little details to these campaigns.
Someone in the franchise should make a "Spin off" game with Wallcroft and Griffen/Griffin as main characters in it, so we could sort of see a brotherly bond between the two soldiers. Also, with the e turning into an i in MW3, either a mistake by the devs, or a mistake in-game, like a misspelling in a report. Griffen is a bit unusual, unlike Griffin, which would make sense.
I think it's safe to assume Burnes blacked out for a little bit there. By the time Burnes wakes up, Wallcroft is already up and about. My guess is that Wallcroft checked Griffen asap and already mourned the unfortunate corporal in his own way before coming to check on us.
Oh I did extremly love the SAS missions with that Iconic SAS operator look. Hope they remaster MW3. Also about Wallcrofts reaction on Griffin dying, the team was probably lazy but I like to think that while you cant see him he checks on Griffin to see if hes alive and just pushes through because of the mission.
I was always a fan of their tactical gear and uniforms, I remember playing mind the gap over and over, always recognizing that they were the only two soldiers that couldn’t die
Fun fact: sgt willcroft makes an appearance in the old cod mobile game call of duty heros (a clash of clans like game) as a hero himself with art from crew expendable, i cant remember what his abilites were as price was a much better choice but i remember seeing him as a hero who i had but didnt use
Man alex you really bring these characters to life. most i didnt know of. but man you got a way of making them matter more then the main story. subbed.
I like how the remaster makes these two more prominent characters. Even though they aren’t major ones like Price, Griggs, or Gaz, they were always cool to tag along with.
Maybe he did because the player was blacked out so while the player was blacked out Wallcroft was probably caring for Griffin and once he realized he was dead he went forward with his life. Even though you dont see him or he doesn't sound like he lost someone close to him doesn't mean he didn't have a reaction.
@@Tobiroxxon yeah but it just feels weird that we don’t get to actually see any reaction from Wallcroft, especially since that mission specifically focused on bringing them back for the fans, it was odd
I remember those names since its been a while I follow up their arc by this video and I was rooting for both of them to survive and I was sad again to notice that Griffen died, Goddang that hurted.
I think Wallcroft was sad with Griffen's death. Burns was unconscious at the time. We never saw his true reaction. ''Come on, Burns. It looks like it's just us now....'' feels sad and tired. And don't forget, he has a mission. If he decided to cry on Griffen's body, they would miss the truck. We are talking about WWIII. Even Price didn't had time to cry on Soap's body. Sad.
I have infact seen wall craft in separate missions as a NPC and I also saw a NPC named sandman in Mw2. It's also mentioned in soaps journal that it was wallcraft who brought up the idea that switching to your weapon is faster than reloading
Its funny after 5 years, soap got promoted to captain while griffin and walcroft are still stuck at sgt and cpl. Basically their junior became their boss 5 years after he pass the sas selection. Mindblowing.
On Soap’s book, initially it was Wallcroft who had the idea to switch gun with pistol to earn time, and on the book it was saying ‘’ who knew that wallcroft was good at something’’
5:44 That's probably because Burns went unconcious after the train wreck. 4 hours actually seems reasonable enough for the chemicals to get to multiple locations across Britain, if you think about it.
But that truck was a bit..there was no explosions ...But in other place, where Davis family were having trip...The explosion happened...So maybe Burns and Wallcroft went to safe zone before it spreads all over the city....Now we will never get to know
@@MajorAlex well this is just my second theory I think the truck where wallcroft and burn might be a big explosion but not a gas The bravos are way to close to the explosion Or you might be right and they maybe retired as a former bravo team then never seen them again man i hope the nee call of duty they will add these trio
@@MajorAlex I think he's talking about the alternate ending where if you turn off the violence, David's video will not appear. Instead, the truck that you guys shot down will explode instead.
They are a beast backup team, they started that truck before the others could even get away, either they found the keys in the visor or they are beast at hot wiring
I wish they kept like these bromance things rolling throughout the games, so if their buddy who has been with them throughout the series gets KIA'd and they're not really a main character to us, they'd have a proper reaction over it rather than "Guess we gotta move cuz you need to finish the campaign" Like I get that things are serious, but 6+ years, no way in hell you just up and go without paying respects. Tho my guess is that because you, the player were out cold Wallcroft could have paid his respects before you came to.
Knowing this continuity on the games now i replayed the trilogy and the desth of griffin hits harder now that i know, wallcrofts lack of reaction is probably due to the mission at hand but i personally sensed a little remorse in his voice when he said, "it's just us now.".
This mission was so badass I love how in mw2019 and mw2 you have some SAS style missions but in mw3 they need to make a mission similar to this with the SAS would be so badass
1. I think the reason its spelt Griffin instead of Griffen is because hes a different character, its not stated anywhere that they are the same people i think. 2. Its most likely all Bravo team members survived the gas attack due to the gas masks they were equipped with
They should be bought back in the reboot but put them under the mentorship of Gaz, which is a parallel to Soap and Roach. I liked the multinational aspect in the OG but I’m not sure if that’s the direction the reboot wants to take so at least add all the British SAS soldiers back into 141 like Burns, Cook, Roth,… adds more to the game instead of having a marvel team and their 200 allies.
If you turn on the "disruptive content ", instead of the van is empty, you will get the alternate ending where before they open the van it will explode and all the bravo 2, Sgt wallcroft and Burns to be KIA.
A little disappointed the small dialogue between the two during the truck ride in MW3 wasn't mentioned. Wallcroft: "A little close there mate!" Griffen: "Sod off! We're still in one piece!" Wallcroft: "Just keep her steady!"
Wallcroft was prolly too much in shock to talk about it. I wouldn't say he was quite cold or smth like you did, because it could be the case that he was in pain and tried to get it out of his head
I think they should've promoted wallcroft to staff sergeant considering he took capt.price's place, who is a lot seinor than him in rank. Even a lt. is senior than sgt.
We do see Walcroft in the cutscene right after this mission on the radio saying to baseplate that downing Street is in the contaminated area of the gas attack so he does survive thanks to his respirator
Only a partial amount of the SAS team survive the gas attack because of the gas masks, some die because of the explosion of the truck or exposure of the gas. We know this because Price and Macmillaan say about adding names to the Hereford watchtower, which is what’s used to remember the fallen comrades
fun fact: here wallcroft clothes are randomly genrated and also burns like here if you notice and pause the video burns will wear what wallcroft will wear here he wears the hoodie and the gas mask and if you pause the video where camera is going to Sgt.burns eyes if ypu pasue you will see that burns is also wearing the same and aslo as i said before wallcroft clothes are randomly genrated so sometimes wallcroft will wear only mask and burns will also wear that dont belive me then see it for your self
Hope they bring back Wallcroft and Griffin or Griffine they can also add Macmillian as Baseplate. Quick fan story some events happens and Price Calls Macmillian and gives him info then Macmillian assigns Wallcroft and Griffin's squad, concept of mission should be like some mixture of clean house and the warehouse mission in og mw3
the og price telling soap to get up makes a little more sense on the beginning of the ship explosion than the remastered one, but the remastered also makes sense more but i don't know which is better.
Bro their are only a few duos that are needed back, Wallcroft and Griffin, Toad and Archer, and for the the best duo Scarecrow and Ozon cause they were a badass teammates in the game, mostly Wallcroft and Griffin.
bro every time I see remastered gameplay I legit get confused and think its the og cos as a kid that's how I saw it. weird to see go look that bad. glad we got a remaster
In Wallcroft's defense, I will say that Wallcroft came to his senses much earlier than Burns and had time to check on Griffen's condition, perhaps even mourn his death. When Burns woke up, Wallcroft was already on alert, approached Burns and began asking about his condition. It’s just that the period with Wallcroft and the deceased Griffen remained behind the scenes. I am very hurt and sorry that Griffen died. This is all very terrible. Wallcroft and Burns are 100% alive.
