Ohhh thank you for the laugh 😂.. this was BRILLIANT! 😂 👏 Just as a side note for how amazing they are: I had to apply for disability pension after a year in hospital.. I had to go to 5 face to face appointments after being declined the first 4??? So we went to the fifth EVEN MORE prepared.. My parents wheeled my in, in my wheelchair and Fluoro striped dress and I sat there in front of everyone STARING at me like I was a freak and finally got in to the obnoxious guy who seemed to think he was in charge of everything.. interrupted us. answered the phone every time it rang mid sentence and best part was he said he’d finally approve it for my FIRST medical condition from the past…. NOT for the fact I was sitting in my wheelchair WITHOUT BOTH OF MY PROSTHETIC LEGS ON…. FFS 🤦🏼‍♀️. Oh, after my parents both had a go at him, he sighed, obnoxiously rolled his eyes and said ‘FINE! I’ll write being an amputee as your MAIN medical condition but you WILL be reviewed every 12 months!’… And I get letters every 8-9 months saying I’ve been reviewed and approved… ?

I do appreciate how this started off as though it was going to be a rant about dole-bludgers, and ended up being an incisive criticism about an unfeeling, unhelpful system that incentivises lying. Top marks, mate!
