Matt Sloan gives a badass Vader voice in this game and even more so in the Force Unleashed games, but Scott Lawrence in Fallen Order made Matt sound like he’s talking through a Pringles can
7:19 It looks very similar to the Sith code. Vader says "Through pain, I gain strength" In the Sith code, it is said "Through passion, I gain strength".
First thing this reminds me of is Plankton from that “FUN song” episode. F is for fire that burns down the whole town U is for uranium bombs N is for no survivors, WHEN YOU- Some guys just can’t stop being supervillains haha...
Honestly, by all of his voice lines it sounds like he really cares about the storm troopers by how concerned he sounds when talking about yoda, Leia, luke, etc.
You can hear by the voice lines he has respect for his enemies and knows that they are powerful for example "Master Yoda is here, do not underestimate his power."
The banter in this game is so good. I only wish they had scenario banter. Like, palpatine kicking lukes ass and if vader is near luke says "father please!"
The fact that a company with so much money and so many resources can go and find the closest voice to Darth Vader's that they can and it still isn't 100% spot on speaks volumes about the uniqueness of James Earl Jones' voice.
you have no idea how much this helps me. you unironically saved me at least an hour of time. i will not elaborate further. sometimes the most random, specific, and obscure things can be situationally perfect for 1% of people
Honestly James earl Jones as Vader was fantastic as a older Vader more patient Vader but this voice actor for a early Vader would be amazing brutal and merciless
