@@garfusso i gave nexon my money :( To earn him for free I think if you go talk to the descendant NPC they tell you what materials you need, for Blair AFAIK you need materials from one of the endgame zones
I love when you go into detail about why you place characters where they are. It gives me ideas for how to properly take advantage of each niche ability as I level them to see how I feel they play. These videos may be longer, but it's much appreciated!
Well what do ypu expect easy to get, lot people zay she strong (even if over rated) and just look at her. Can I actually blame so many people playing her
I’ve seen a couple videos before saying this but the game heavily rewards you for just READING all skills and damage are laid out for you to see farming and every interceptor boss has a resistance/weakness same for mods take 10 minutes to read your mods and any descendant can be viable
Got through the whole thing! I really appreciate these types of videos. They’re not an end all be all as they just your opinions, however you do bring up some very good points and arguments for your reasoning. I would continue to watch more content like this. Thank you Moxsy, and keep up the good work!
I'd make an argument for bumping Ajax up a tier. There's a mod you can get that makes expulsion get 2 charges which is cool and allows for higher uptime. His dome is just raw protection from all angles so even if you're surrounded you'll be fine. His regular shield can cover a flank or just help him shred through trash even faster since it reflects damage. Pair all of this with some of the crazy movement you can pull off with grapple and his jump and not only can you move around just as fast as a Bunny, but completely negate her downside of being too squishy.
I'm a bunny main, but I gotta say Blair and his combat music goes hard Also, did you know each descendant that you play has their own ost in certain encounters, mostly endless missions and open world combat encounters...Blair's goes hard
I mean, I'd say by the time you're doing hard bosses you should understand the game enough to forego RU-vid tierlists. This is mostly for people deciding what character to farm as their third or fourth.
Whipped out my lv 24 viessa in hard mode open world and was doing 300k a hit for skills lol with out a build she's definitely a tier even s tier if you get your cool downs super low and you can just spam
Absolutely love this game will be watching everything you post on it moxsy long time fan of the channel...at time of posting I have lvl 23 viessa and lvl 40 bunny master rank 9. Where my grinders at
Can confirm Ajax is an incredibly powerful Bosser. On top of *never dying*, and rescuing Bunny every 5 seconds, their Orbital Barrier is a phenomenal offensive skill that is criminally insane. Bosses like Devourer, which fire dozens of DoT projectiles that would NORMALLY stick to the floor and create a hazard, can instead stick to the barrier and deal *millions* of damage to themselves. My first fight against Devourer, he basically soloed himself with his own toxin spam 😂 (works much better when teammates actually pay attention to the shield too). S Rank Uno Reverse build. 4x coordinated Ajax putting their shield on top of each other is probably the highest damage output in the game, against those DoT spamming bosses. You can even set the barriers on already existing DoTs and reflect the dmg.
I found her poison damage scaling super underwhelming. Like it's somewhere around 70% skill power per second compared to bunnys shock which is like 300
@@mochmaster45 well yea if your comparing bunny burst dps against Freyna DOT damage that ticks away slowly but surely, then maybe that's why.. her scaling is fine with poison..not sure what your mean.. 🤔
@@sikevillain I mean Apples to apples it's just less damage. Sure it's nice you can apply it and forget it for a few seconds, but my poison ticks are 10% of my bunny aoe ticks. Because when you think about it bunnys aoe is basically a dot. It ticks every 7m so it's sorta like a 1 second dot
Looks like I’m gonna have to pick Enzo up. I had a few missions where I had infinite ammo, didn’t realize it was Enzo doing that. Great info aside from the tier list because I haven’t looked at all the descendants yet. Thanks!!
@@blackyvertigo yeah. I realized a bit later after playing more. Think it might have been a buff for a mission I was doing. Doesn’t matter though. Still pretty cool
Ya hes my favorite so far cuz solo play. I feel like youd have to grind as a squishy character to do solo dungeons or max out dmg mods n i dont think thats fun. Youll need some dmg mods for soloing colossus tho cuz theres a time limit.
@@d-mart3733find what one you like. They play kinda different like all the chars. Find a couple chars you like and use them. It’s PVE so any char will be fine
@@Miyhal youre wrong about that bud lol. bunny speed runs things solo and way quicker than ajax would. this is also coming from someone who loves ajax lol
please give viessa another shot/make a guide :) her transcendant from the first hard mode boss changes the slow to a dot and she's generally well rounded... paired with blue beetle gun and good skill cooldown she does beefy damage without much investment on regular, not sure about ultimate
I bought Yujin when I started the game... He is barely viable in teams and ABSOLUTELY USELESS alone... It was so heartbreaking realizing I couldn't finish certain missions with him.
I find this very difficult to believe, after seeing his abilities and watching breakdowns and gameplay in him, particularly the “barely viable in teams” bit.
You're just not good enough lol. Your weapon is what matters for damage, and your modules are what matters when building him. His skills are very useful, especially in end game, but you have to build him properly. It's not hard.
Gotta admit its impressive the devs made all the characters have roles and certain strengths and weaknesses. Makes them all valuable and fresh when you start leveling them
Right, I'd put her in B at least, only because her utility on bosses is reduced in duration. Valby is in a similar position, but her utility reduces electric and nonattribute resistance.
It’s a bunny world, you get her early without trying, fastest speed clearer, amazing solo if you learn her well, and an endgame bunny can absolutely melt any hard mode intercept even in solo. You even get her best weapon early just doing main story.
i play Yujin main. (not max cap yet) But his C skill is insane with the red module. clears packs of mobs like a mad scientist. i actualy broke a server and got kicked out using it. doing the white-gulch farm
what i don’t get is why people don’t wanna play with other people. i’ve sent countless friend requests and no one accepted. I JUST WANNA MAKE FRIENDSSSS😫
Don't just send random friend requests to people. Some people don't want to be social and it's kinda weird and rude. If you're teaming in the same area try saying hi or emote. If they respond ask if they'd like to party up. Some people don't want social interaction at all.
@@kingcurmudgeon8685 An unwarranted friend request is rude. Just like a random clan invite is rude. Do you throw your business card or phone at strangers? I can tell you have 0 tact.
@@nighthawkviper6791 oh wait.. No I'm going mental, sleep deprivation is a scary thing. I meant the ice chick. No clue why I thought that was the ice chick's name.
He’s actually pretty bad. He’s a wanna be Destiny 2 combined with Rhino from warframe and he’s not even close to as good as either. He has no buffs or debuffs like those characters do
Any particular builds you guys have been running? The only builds I’ve seen are from beta and it seems they changed the mods used. Melting nuts switched from reducing def to electric resist and that seems not nearly as good I imagine
I bought Sharen too for the utility of hacking espionage recon mission bonus rewards. Gotta have a crap ton of duration stacked those harder recon missions lol. But I got no ultimate mods for her yet.
He even said he's solid at bossing, and maybe for solo tanks are best. But in a group setting for bossing they have utility whilst things like gley nuke them.
I agree with the Blair take. He was the first descendant I’ve farmed out, and bunny is just so much better. She will probably stay on top for a little but if they want to make some of these other characters playable, she’s gonna need a nerf of some sort. What I don’t agree with is the Ajax placement. The amount of times I’ve carried people through boss fights because they don’t know how to dodge and just die for free is insane and I rez them for free cause I could just facetank everything in the game. Not to mention his 1st ability is pretty good. Enemies shooting at you will just kill the selves. It’s a DoT essentially all while blocking damage for you as you’re actively shooting them. I don’t have any of his special modules yet, but I feel like for higjer end boss fights, a fully built Ajax will be essential on bossing teams
Been maining Esiemo and I'm having a BLAST (So much pun intended). If you know enemy spawn locations, throw the mines down and explode on spawn. His Ult can hit insanely hard as well.
I bought him and I wish there wasn’t a cooldown on detonate, it’s dumb that his whole kit revolves around setting mines and you can only explode them every like 12 seconds
@@ITSTHATBOI369yeah that’s manageable with cooldown modules and you can shoot the basic bomb. But I hate how long his animations take. If they speed up his animations much higher DPS
If a person knows nothing about this game, he or she would think that that hexagonal platform in the sky is probably the toilet of the future and the person sitting on it is having a hard time expelling his or her poo, because it's violently wiggling around to get free. If you know about this game and you like it, you're all right.
Viessa, Vlabby, Sharon, and Blair all seem so similar if you take their elemental effect away. I don't like the idea of farming/grinding an entire new hero just for a visual change on it's aoe from green poison, to a fire pool. Have Blair get "Build up" or "Fan the furnace" so he actually has to build and scale the damage, give Poison a decaying mechanic where the longer they stand in poison their damage scales up. Viessa, the longer they are in the ice the slower they move, scaling into a stun. Lastly Vlabbie's water could heal allies in it, or have a like 10% chance to make enemies slip, causing a 1 second knockdown. Minor mechanics that just make the hero's more unique, and interesting to play, or collect.
Been main Freyna and she hits like a truck if you have the right transcendent mode like contagion for mob clear for her and the first hope assault rife is wonderful
@@TheprophetDJ I found her poison damage scaling super underwhelming. Like it's somewhere around 70% skill power per second compared to bunnys shock which is like 300
@@mochmaster45 yeah I know my biggest issue I am facing now is there is to many bunny’s and it’s not great at everything like I m trying to beat the dead bride and there is always at least 2 or 3 bunnies getting rekt because they wanna thunder zap and get close
@@TheprophetDJ as a bunny main myself. I just did bride today and it was pain. Huge dps check honestly. However her abilities are insanely easy to Dodge once you learn them
I don't know if Gley improves a ton in late game, but I'm around level 35 right now and I struggle a lot with just getting consistent Life orbs to keep her going.
There is a rare mod called HP Collector that will give you a percentage of HP back every time you kill an enemy with X cool down. That + health and def mods should handle your survivability.
You have to drop shit and be really aggressive with gley. Or you have to build into being able to tank stuff with no shield Gley is really a solo class honestly and op af solo. I can only see her for burning bosses and colosus with teamplay
I soloed the devourer on normal with Ajax after I buffed my def and hosed popped the damage return wall he was absolutely melting himself especially the toxic crystals that stuck to it and his healing factor was significantly weaker fyi for anyone struggling with the devourer
Got through the whole vid, btw maybe put the dashcam in the top right corner next tier list. I like seeing all the tiers cleanly and you were in front of the S and A tier logo
My two Cents on Sharen is she can rez while invis, i rez people in the middle of packs constantly. She clears out most trash mobs and/or picks off the big guy. She has at ton of Utility with the debuff and a ton of survival with the invis.
That's funny that you put valby in S tier I switched to her today and really enjoy her abilities and the 30% less mana use while standing in water make it easy to keep doing moves while spreading more water which damages enemies constantly.
@@creativename74 From what I've been reading he has a module that turns those little spots of fire he puts on the ground at his location into a throwable grenade version which might be what they are talking about.
im not sure why people put viessa on low tier. shes fast, high dps output and versatile. give her hypothermia and she can become the dps carry. mod her correctly and she can be both a defender and a dps carry. i find myself going back to viessa for mission that are tad more difficult.
It’s because she only really shines in her ultimate version where you can just spam blizzards. Otherwise she brings solid numbers but nothing about her stands out which is a bit of a problem when Enzo, Bunny (probably the best reviver in the game because she can do a revive from across the map), Gley, Valby, and Freyna really do stand out. In other words there’s too many others that do have something unique going for them that Viessa doesn’t do and starting with her is a bit of a drag. I quickly made Bunny my current main until I take the time to unlock other characters.
I’m a Blair main, and even if he’s straight up dogwater rn, he will keep being my main until they fix him. Which would be by: •”Blaze up” should be targeted aoe, instead of right below you. So you just aim where you wanna drop it. •”Extinguish” should heal a portion for every stove instead of increasing defense. •”Burn Taste” is fine as it is. But, if I had to improve it, I would give it napalm. So wherever you aim that thing, fire lingers for a short time. •”Deadly Cuisine” is also fine as it is. BUT if I had to improve it, I’d just give it a bit more damage since it feels lackluster as an ult. But that’s just my opinion. Blair is a caster, not a tank, so the way they made him is counterproductive. He’s a caster(squishy) that needs to get close to use his kit effectively, which makes no sense. Range should have been the mindset but what can we do now. Hopefully the devs rethink some of their choices cuz even other characters are kinda messed up. But that’s for another time. Have a nice day everyone!
No matter what people might think of her, as a long time Warframe veteran who practically mains exclusively Volt and Gauss nowadays Bunny makes me lowkey happy. She's literally the combination of both frames in one as she's an electric based speedster who charges her skill with a battery mechanic and excels in applying in a wide area tons of electric procs, as well as nuking effortlessly trash mobs by simply running around. It worth nothing he's gonna be my main for a long ass time, if her kit also included at least a buffing skill that would increase your fire rate and whatnot like what Gauss does, she would have been perfect since she kinda suffers in interception battles
Gley is 100% S tier in AOE as well as bossing. If you build her into max cooldown and rockets, she can clear everything on a screen, never reload or run out of ammo.
I'd never set foot in First Descendant until launch and started with Lepic, but switched to Bunny as soon as I had her unlocked. That lasted until I ran face-first into a wall named Pyromaniac :/ Swapped back to Lepic and first attempt (public) at Pyro was a win and I was able to continue the story. I had more than enough fire prot on my Bunny but the character is just too squishy for that fight. Anyway, I really don't have any desire to go back to Bunny. I'm really digging Lepic and even though his shield may as well be made of Kleenex, he's still got decent surviveability.
Bunny loses a lot of her squish with the mod that charges her shield while she runs. Especially large groups that are constantly dropping mana pick ups
Hmm I found her damage to be really lack luster with the poison. It only does like 70% skill power per second. Compare that to bunny who's shock does like 300% and also electrifies
@mochmaster45 the problem with bunny is that you need to move to deal her aoe whereas freyna can just apply it anytime she wants as long as it's off cooldown. Freyna can place dots on one side and shoot guns to a different side, Bunny can't do that. Also Freyna dots spread and more mobs affected increases her dot damage.
@@BoredAndBrowsing yeah and I imagine there's a good synergy with the fallen hope or whatever it's called. But just in my testing I'm game and in the training area it's not even close. Bunny can also run and gun. But maybe with the perfect build they'll feel clossr
It clicked for me, saw streamer Gothalion say it took him maybe 5hrs to really click. He’s playing as Kyle & it looks super fun. I’m saving money and will grind the characters. Picked Ajax & like him wanna unlock the other 2 soon.
How do you start the tier list saying “descendants are tools for different jobs…not every descendant can do every job best” to ranking them all basically all on how much damage they do saying characters like Enzo and Ajax are low tier because they don’t do as much damage and clear as others but that’s not what they’re kit is focused to do….theyre supports
Enzo is all i need! He's awesome, and working on some of his Ult Mods, like the one that gives you a drone or the more damage for allies one. He's just awesome. Good Solo too.
It's Bunny and Gley. It's just these 2. Bunny for farming and Gley for Bossing/Collossus. Some characters are horrifically unbalanced either positively or negatively. It is unbalanced because those 2 exist. If they didn't exist then maybe all characters are good.
Gley technically has the best AoE in the game, her 3rd skills gives her Infinite ammo while in Frenzy, stack Duration with it and use a launcher. Easiest mob clearing.
@@MantisXShadow ehh I disagree even with a launcher with infinite ammo it's still not better than bunny who can 360 1 shot mobs that's always up and she has a speed boost
@@kalenthedon8546 doesnt 1 shot things later on nor the bigger trash mobs. in hard mode bunny is still amazing but definitly stops 1 hitting everything.
The only thing i hate about Bunny specifically is, and this may only be a console issue, that you have to keep holding that sprint to accumulate her energy. I honestly can't play with her for more than an hour without my thumb hurting like hell, and i bet it's not great for the longevity of my controller either. On controller sprint is set up in such a way that you press the left thumb down once to toggle sprinting but the problem is that you also use that thumb stick for movement and i find myself constantly accidently pressing on it which takes me out of sprint and keeps interrupting my abilities. This just may be a me issue but its very annoying. Also, she seems very squishy. Otherwise i would say Viessa and Freyna are so far my favorites. Valby seems really cool as well but i haven't tried her yet
Kyle should be higher on the bossing tier list, his 3 makes him very good at keeping boss on him without any damage going out same with his 2 being able to rez team mates and his 4 has carried the damage for my group more often then not doing tripple what second place damage does with minimal effort.
Just remember everything is grindable for FREE everything in the battle pass can be done for FREE ……..it’s paid to advance…… not paid to win …..DESTINY is a paid to win …you need to buy certain content just to get certain weapons suers ect ect destiny is a cash grab especially since u essentially pay about $1,000 or more in 10 years….games like TFD warframe you don’t have to pay ANYTHING and you still get all the content materials guns for free
I watched the whole thing, gley is absolutely ridiculously over powered for end game bossing. My buddy has a ultimate gley and kills every boss for our friend group in seconds while it takes us normal builds 9 tries and a hour per fight 😂
