Hey Jake these DR templates are fire. I'm using them on my next video as we speak and they're way better than my old assortment of templates mainly when you use them with the fusion overlay drop menu on the edit page. Well worth the money. GREAT JOB!

Does anybody know how to get a keyboard shortcut to search the effect library???? Been asking around different places.. Please, please please. It's crazy to me. You can't put a keyboard shortcut for effects library in the edit page. it'd be so cool if I could have one pop-up like fusion or just make it the same as if I hit the glass with my mouse.

You are seeing a lot of "DaVinci Resolve not responding" windows, like you are using Adobe 😂 For 8 years with Resolve I saw just a 4 or 5 of them.

It works ok but I have this issue where once I enabled motion blur on a wippAnimate effect it slowed everything down by a drastic amount.

Hey! Unfortunately at this point that's just a limitation of DaVinci Resolve. The tools have as much optimization for it as possible and I'm always searching for ways to make it better. Hopefully it's an issue Blackmagic Design will address soon!

Just bought the pack and wanted to drop a little comment in the middle of editing. I have a kind of an important video coming up soon and I wanted to spice it up a bit with these templates. So far I've used WippZoom, WippPan, WippText, WippSub and WippCam. All in this one video 😀 Very happy with the ease of use. I already had adjustment layers made for cropping in, but I changed most of them to WippZoom. It was pretty simple to do and I think it looks better now. While I do like editing to some extent, I hate building effects etc. from scratch, as it takes so much time. Considering the time I'm going to save using the templates, I think it was well worth the price. Installation was also easier than I thought. No messing manually with folders or fusion. Thanks!

Psst. Casey sent me, is this the right place? 🤣 Purchased and downloaded! Is it possible to make a glass of water in a clip vibrate with one of the included effects? Could you give me a head start to set the Inspector for whichever effect will do it? I haven't figured out how to make Camera Shake get tiny and fast enough. I'm in 18.5 Studio for Windows. Thanks for your Editor Collection- super tools are super helpful!

Thank you! I duplicate the layer and use magic mask on the top copy. Then I can stick any graphic I want in between the two videos and the effect is done! Magic mask makes it really easy!

@@JakeWipp amazing thanks you! Do you find you have to tweak the magic mask layer at all. i.e soften edges of the mask, drop shadows etc?

@@raybp7512 for my setup it usually works pretty good the first time, especially after the last few updates. I typically draw 3-4 lines making sure it picks up my microphone as well and then move the denoise slider until it looks right.

WippHighlight is locked in Davinci Resolve free version. "You have reached a limitation with Davinci Resolve". Really glad I didnt purchase the pack only to be unable to use it.

Absolutely amazing! This amps up the professional feel by a million for what I'm working on. One question/comment .. it seems when using the templates it bogs the machine down and also increases rendering time pretty dramatically, right? A couple minute video using wippchapter for the entire length and some stacks of WippText seems to be a 50 minute render on an 8 core AMD/32GB Ram/Nvidia 3080 machine .... but I guess that's just par for the course with fusion templates?

@@oo0Spyder0oo yes. with 18.6 i noticed an improvement and when the segments are smart rendered (cached) it performs MUCH better now.

Hi Jake, I just bought the pack and I love it. One problem though, the smart motion blur dosen't seem to smart for me. The motion blur whether smart or normal on any editors collection effect is really laggy for me, and it usually renders clips that have motion blur one frame at a time slowly. I don't have this problem with default motion blur such as on the transform effect. If you could help me it would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Hey! If you set the tool to normal that is essentially just having motion blur on like in a Transform node. The Smart version is only going to render it at the beginning and end. Unfortunately even with these optimizations it can still be really slow. I am hoping Blackmagic Design optimizes that in the future.

Those are really cool but currently Davinci Resolve does not have that ability built it. It can be acheived with certain plugins if you wanted to try that!
