Cause as he mentioned, he made a whole ass Guide for them. The info regarding their usage and optimal loadouts is far more comprehensive. Anybody with a functional brain would pause the video and go watch that guide if they wanted the knowledge.
I don't need help, just was making an observation that I found ironic. I love fallout that's why I watch these super long videos when I don't need any info from them.
Even for Le Monarque, Fallout excluded Overload Bow from the assessment because the artifact mod won't be around permanently. So he's looking at it from a new guy's perspective. Think about it: If we have a new player who starts Destiny 2 today, after playing through this entire season (for 6 months).. by the end of the season he won't be a new guy anymore. At that point, that player would have enough experience+understanding to make his own decision on what weapons he wants to buy from the Kiosk. Pretty sure that's part of Fallout's reasoning.
I did that last season took a tiny bit to get back into the swing of things I felt overwhelmed with so much shit to do but I like taking long breaks it makes the game fresh when I come back
1st get none, go to banshee-44 and pick up the quest called "The Lost Lament" (I think thats what the quest is called). Finish the quest. Now u have the best weapon in the game. Lastly buy the sick new season of the lost lament ornament. Now your a destiny 2 god. Edit: don't forget to pick u Lucent blade from Ada-1 whenever she sells it, it makes me better. 😎

I'm a returning player (basically new light from all the crap I missed) and my current goal is to get the catalyst for all the exotics I own. Its been a struggle to keep motivated lol. Light level just hit 1290 yesterday.
You should have another goal and the exotic catalysts as a secondary goal something on the side and try to play on multiple characters it makes gameplay refreshing
The Sleeper is definitely #1 for this current season... The thing is an absolute boss melting beast with partical deconstruction. Definitely high priority
Ruinous Effigy is underrated by far, it is so strong for solo content, or gambit, you have the draining ability which even if you are surrounded by 20 ads and 2 bosses you won't die, and they won't be able to sent you flying, then you can do the heavy attack to whipe every single ad and take a huge chunk of life or even kill thougher enemies. but yeah maybe the meme toaster gun is better
Yup, just stopped watching the video there, and in the previous season it was MAD powerful, I got bored of using it so much, but it was just way too good.
Is there an optimal way to make progress on the catalyst for RE? I recently started using it but noticed that the catalyst progress is going up very slowly even after I use the spheres a few times
@@balor325 I'm afraid at this point your only option is 5000 kills wirh RE/spheres. I'd suggest putting it on whenever you have PVE content to do, or maybe go farm altar.
Ticuu is a joke in a sense that you have to pay 30 bucks for it, even if you own the season DLC. Having to buy a deluxe edition for pre-owned DLC is just stupid.
While most people in this comments section are already aware, if a new player happens to be here and sees this, there is a reason for certain exotics being present in the kiosk while others aren't and how those are determined. Our current Kiosk exotics are those which used to be acquired by means of an exotic quest, from an activity, or as a season pass reward, which is no longer available in the game. Before we had the kiosk the cryptarch would sell the season pass exotics from past seasons the way the kiosk does now. Then, Destiny 2 vaulted a lot of it's older & less trafficked content a few seasons ago with the release of the Beyond Light expansion, for storage reasons or something, and in the process we lost 5 locations (Titan, Io, Mercury, Mars, and the Leviathan) along with all the quests & activities located at, or which required visiting those worlds, plus the Scourge of the Past raid. As a result a significant number of exotics would've become unattainable due to them being exclusive rewards to now inaccessible content. So we were given the Kiosk, which was filled with both the former season exotics and all these exotics that had their original means of acquisition removed from the game, along with the previous season's ritual weapons (the curated legendary weapons also in the kiosk; They used to have quests to get them in past seasons). Those exotic weapons which are absent from the kiosk are available elsewhere in the game, either through rng/ exotic engrams and Xur occasionally, or through their own quests or activities that are still in the game. Also the current season pass exotic is omitted from the kiosk until that season has ended and the next begins, at which point it's added to the kiosk as a new/ returning player jumping in would otherwise have no means of attaining it.
I feel its almost criminal Fallout didn't mention one huge perk with Ticcuu's. You can use it to make warmind cells, the explosion damage counts as the killing blow for every kill so its really good with Wrath of Rasputin.
I know you're still on vacation but I think you should do a follow up vid talking about exotic catalysts and how to get them. Weapons like Trinity Ghoul is like a C tier, but w/ the catalyst I think it's an S tier, or at least an A tier.
Especially now with overload bows, you can use it for overload stuns AND ad clear, it’s pretty great! The catalyst (that I run on top/mid tree Striker Titan with Skullfort) is amazing!
Yep LFRs and Fusions are at least this seasons meta. For at least right now Bungie could change things who knows. Particle Decontrustor makes things like 1K Voices, Threaded Needle, Sleeper, Tarantula, Lorentz Driver and etc do massive damage on bosses. 1K voices melts Atheon and Templar far faster than Anarchy double slugs ever did. The fact this was made before shows that FallOut is going have a lot of catch up to do on the new season. With that said Anarchy is still useful for lost sectors. Especially with arc burn.
@@sayarimamani3605 it still is decent in anything in the game now, even boss DPS after the nerf, in lost sectors they are even better since they can take down champions really easily and also can spawn trap ads but you just have to make sure you have good ammo usage
@@sayarimamani3605 That's not true, Particle Decontrustor makes LFRs and FRs better choices for boss DPS right now, but Anarchy is still a better weapon in basically every other situation. If your equipment is not locked, running Anarchy for most encounters still makes a lot of sense, and even if it is, it's not a horrible choice depending on the circumstance and what you're comfortable with.
Get sleeper first. Why would you tell anyone to get last seasons meta weapons especially knowing this vid was made b4 the season dropped. they don't even have any seasonal mods attached to them bro. Tip for PvE Devil's Ruin: fire in bursts of _seven_ and hold the trigger at the end of the second burst! Really helps improve your rhythm and ensures you can almost empty your mag before you charge up the full beam and have to reload.
You didn’t talk about the catalyst for Ticcu , easily the best bow with it , it can do both ad clear and single target damage , it absolutely claps those champions when you have causality arrow x6 even in master , being a primary that can do this much is phenomenal
Le Monarque is all around better. AOE poison that can kill enemies and apply a poison dot to bosses while you sit in cover. Also, the poison can keep overloads stunned even while you aren’t actively hitting them
or just run vog a few times every day until xur comes, its way faster just doing the full raid, and getting 30 spoils in roughly 30 mins then the 20 you will get in 40 mins from doing a templar farm

Leviathan's Breath is amazing for locking down any boss that can be staggered. Every arrow keeps the boss in place and stuck. Invaluable in Arms Dealer. You can get 3 cycles worth of damage in on Zahn before he's able to even walk off the center platform.
Leviathan's breath is better than people say in other regards, too. It has 15 shots - double that of rocket launchers and it does more damage than most rockets. That right there is compelling (plus the stagger effect). Whenever you need void, unstoppable in a NF, Leviathan's is a good choice. It's also better than people think in Gambi, especially. A lot of good players now know how to get away from Eyes. Leviathan's Breath delivers an instantaneous one-shot from any distance - that kind of killing potential is really useful and serves me well in Gambit. I haven't tried it in Crucible, but I'm sure its better than people think, given its one shot to the body, always. The thing has crazy aim assist, too, on controller. Leviathan's Breath is simply not an F tier exotic. It's not S tier, for sure, but it has some uses.
The thing with all the low priority guns like ruinous effigy is that even though they might be slightly worse than options in the mid tier, most of the stuff better than them is also out classed by the top options anyway so fun factor is all that matters. What I'm saying is after witherhoard and eriannes I got my new light friend to pick up ruinous.
Fun Fact: Ruinous Effigy can be used to cheese Queens Walk, you can swap The Heart of Riven for the Transmutation Spheres. This makes it so no one has to be teleported away during the encounter. So if you and your raid team are having trouble with it. This makes it quite easy.
I still think ruinous is a top tier weapon "under certains circumstances ". This weapon with a minimal build of elemental well and some charge with light mod... Can make you solo all dungeons of the game easily if you pair yourself with a good dps weapon on the side (i used either Guillotine or a purple grenade launcher with clown cartrige and chain reactions). This weapon is clearly more potent on a warlock i think, even though other classes can make it work since if you pair it with Nezarec's sin or even maybe new verity's brow you'll have excelent results on about anything. this weapon suck in pvp, true, but in pve it is doing well, it was better last season since it was doing almost same damage as a nova bomb.... (yes, 2 ult in 1 sec if you chain dunk and nova bomb) But it still does rn half the damage of a ult for a single kill .Also, when you block, none of the melee attack of bosses will make you knockback so you can wait for a boss to slam when shielding, dunk, stagger almost any bosses in the game, put a rift safely and start slashing away all your misery with a sword. Its does also don't care at all about ammo economy, since 3 bullet out of almost 400 in reserve to kill about 10+ ennemies in average is enough normally to get some green bricks to spawn. Lastly.... trace rifles just do more damage than a auto rifle and with that one you don't care about losing ammo because like i said, the weapon have so much ammo already. (i use 2 special weapon and i use ruinous as my primary and is till never run out of ammo). Overall... the weapon is clearly good when someone know how to use it, buuuuuut it is clearly also a meme weapon, and that's why it'll stay my main.
It is a great weapon, you can even use it as a primary while using another special ammo weapon, great for dungeons and solo content, and the draining ability to stay alive even if you are sorrounded by ads and thougher enemies and then using the heavy attack?, I just think people don't know how to use it, and this is after the draining life nerf like two season ago and stills much better than most of the guns on the kiosk

Also as a Hunter main I agree, it’s been my favorite weapon for most PvE content ever since I got it from the original quest in Arrivals, even despite the nerf it got in the meantime. Sure, it’s trash (or at least extremely hard to use effectively) in PvP and definitely not great for endgame content like raid bosses or Grandmaster Nightfalls, but I feel most players (especially if they’re new) are not going to do that type of stuff on a daily basis anyway. And for everything else, it’s extremely fun to use and learn and it’s very effective once you get a hang of it - it’s probably the most original exotic weapon in the game. I’m not a great player by any stretch of imagination, but I’ve consistently been at the top of the Gambit scorecard across both teams with RE. Same for most strikes. And you don’t even need a build for it, it’s been great even without trace rifle ammo mods prior to last season (although they do help, sure). Once you learn the ways to use the Relic (orb), it’s one of the best weapons for add clear and you can still take most of champion’s health with the orb slam. Given the many ways to use the weapon’s features in like 75% of Destiny’s PvE content, I’d risk saying that it’s the best bang for the buck weapon from the kiosk for a New Light player, especially that, realistically, it’s going to take MONTHS for them before they can raid and then get enough Spoils of Conquest from that to get something like Anarchy. I’m a bit surprised that most weapons got the PvP vs PvE breakdown here, but the RE has been trashed for it’s lackluster PvP performance (agreed) and I guess only mentioned for the camera? WTF? :D I didn’t even know about the camera stuff, I still don’t care about this and I’d say 99% of players will not either. This is definitely not where the strength of this weapon is going to be for most players, not by a long shot.
Ruinous Effigy is a weapon made for fun, and it delivers a ton of fun. It's actually pretty decent in Gambit, take out a shank then dunk the orb on all his friends, and anything that survived the dunk now takes Extra damage from the gun.
Exactly, ruinous is my top fun weapon for pve and it’s actually pretty good - it delivers tons of super energy if you’re warlock and gives shields. But the main thing is that the whole gameplay is PURE FUN
Thing about Levianth’s Breath is that it functions like a rocket launcher but holds over twice the amount of shots and you get more per brick than with rockets. Total ammo damage on it is very high and sometimes you don’t want Anarchy because you don’t want to swap. I’d argue Leviathan’s Breath is better than everyone says, it’s a rocket launcher with far better ammo economy and far more full ammo damage that staggers enemies, not that bad.

Ruinous Effigy was purpose built for the blight encounter during the prophecy dungeon. The block sphere heals you as you damage ads between blights and the heavy attack with the transmutation spheres 1-shot all the blights. It's literally made for that encounter and is the only time I ever use it. But I always use It during that encounter.
Honestly, the best thing you can get out of the kiosk is the sparrow. It has 6 boosts instead of 3, is a faster speed than any other sparrow, and has the passive perk of less aggro from enemies. It’s actually a game changer cuz you can always have it on every character.
Jotunn + particle deconstruction in PVE is great, its not going to wreck bosses but it hits hard and you can hip fire it while flying around and almost always hit your target
Noooo!!!! Ticuus main here in PvE. Great vid btw. This thing is absolutely a flexible weapon. Add clear? Check. Major killer? Check. Decent primary DPS? Check. Can work with warmind cells? Check. Can work with elemental well? Check. This season: overload bow? Check. How are people not using this!?
Rat King can be pretty good with a Graviton Forfeit build with top tree tether. The issue with this is that the catalyst is needed, which is a pretty difficult thing to obtain considering it’s drop rate is super low and it’s completion requirement is a little annoying. Still, very fun invis build and catalyst requirement can be negated via the Thrallways.

I will not accept this slander for Bad Juju! It does so much in PvE - especially with the Catalyst - where it can tear through mobs endlessly as it reloads the full mag with every kill, then focus on Majors (and even Elites in a pinch) with full String of Curses before moving back to mobs again. It's at least a Medium Priority for me.
@@godlyhax4172 I disagree, mainly because there _are_ exotics that either require too much from the player to trigger (i.e Tricksleeves) or simply isn't useful enough to be useful in enough situations (Oathkeepers lmao). Maybe you can have some fun with them, but overall, you're not using them in any serious manner. Bad Juju, on the other hand, _at least_ has a ton of utility simply because it does a lot of things in exchange for a small proc requirement in PvE. Can't see why anyone would say no to a faster Super charge, auto-reload, and a damage bonus on a kill to any enemy, that also stacks up to five.

For the most part agree with your choices, except for the frickin speed run sword. I'll believe there's more people interested in getting a Truth and going into Gambit before I ever think of people interested in becoming a speed runner. Not trying to offend any speed runners out there, but I don't see too many new players jumping into the game and immediately going for being a speed runner. If you ARE going for speed running, I'm sure there's a lot more work you gotta worry about before you grab the cheat sword.
The last two times I came to watch a Fallout video with an interesting topic the video length changed my mind. I definitely need an edited version of this.
Something to consider is Get Erianas Vow and Symmetry early on as the quest for the catalyst takes a long time to complete. They both require 400 strike, gambit, or crucible completions. So you might as well do them both at the same time over the next few months. 1 week get Erianas then next get Symmetry. You probably wont use symmetry much but if you plan on sticking with the game for a while you'll have to do it. You dont have to use the weapon during the quest or even on you. You just need the quest.
Oof. Whisper in the low priority section. That hurts. How the mighty have fallen. Btw, Truth was actually the best dps exotic rocket launcher last season. A RU-vidr tested all of them on Morgeth, and Truth dominated.
Such a shame, too. I never played when that sniper was good and it's such a cool-looking sniper rifle as well. With so many ornaments for it, you'd think they'd buff it. If they made it good, that gives incentive into buying ornaments for it.
9:25 No, there are quite a few other exotics in the kiosk that you need spoils of conquest for. 16:03 A full auto shotgun fires continuously while holding the trigger & instantly (doesn't need a pre-charge). Not an example I would choose. 47:00 About Ticuu... correct arguments but when the season gets a bow mod (and it frequently does), it's absolutely fantastic even in GMs. If there are solar shields there instead of void, it's a choice that's not average at all & often puts Monarque in 2nd place .
1. I believe the only other one is Tarrabah that requires spoils as far as guns go 2. It was a good comparison on how it behaves once it charges and fires. It’s recoil pattern is that of an auto shotgun with big kicks and gaps between the kits. 3. Ticcu’s is only good if there are A LOT of solar shields. Outside of that Le Monarque will perform better 9/10 while locking down overloads with the poison. And that’s without it even having a catalyst.
Bad Juju low? I mean I know it isn’t necessarily a top priority but it’s one of the best ad clearers (especially now there’s infinite ammo) and it’s usable in pvp. Truth too. That thing still has a high spot in gambit.
Outbreak perfected is shredding in season of the lost, although I mainly only use it for legend or easier nightfalls and legend or master lost sectors to melt the unstoppable champions. I also haven’t used polaris lance since season of the splicer but it was really good for hive (big precision hitboxes) and bosses also has pretty generous aim assist
I'm that guy who uses Rat King solo. Current kill tracker is at 34,291. Catalyst is amazing on it. Pair with Gravaton Forfeit to extend invis even further, or Gemini Jesters to mess with peoples radar. They never see you coming, and you can see to their last surprise.
Just here to say that Ruinous Effigy has 30% more base damage than a coldheart which isn't spun up. That is a LOT of damage, this is a crazy major melter weapon. You can also use the orbs dunk attack to deal absurd damage to inanimate objects, like say the glimmer extractors in the public event. It does 68K damage on hit to theese and destroys them instantly. I love this weapon, it has so much utility. The damage reduction you get while guarding with the orb is also not bad. Not to mention it can heal you. This gun has a lot going for it.
And its seriously been that way ever since it was put in the kiosk, best solo weapon for basically anything, so easy to use, so ammo efficient, has literally 0 risks in running it, on top of dealing decent damage due to double stacking body+floor shots then use a rocket. No one should never regret getting wither as their 1st kiosk weapon

Yo? Ruinous Effigy carried me through lots of hard times in PVE. It's not good PVP but PVE, it's underrated. I don't know why it got nerfed after Beyond Light was released but I wouldn't sleep on it. It's really fun and very niche
I think Sturm is still good even after all the nerfs. It's catalyst makes it so more responsive and accurate with the range & handling Boosts. Still my favorite 120 handcannon of all time. It's just reliable.
Still haven't bought my first exotic 🙃 just started playing this franchise and I'm salty that I'm 8 years late lol. Already up to 1240 but still so much to learn
I've very much grown attached to Traveler's Chosen since it released and I would recommend trying it out with its catalyst. Very good in PvE and actually makes it a bit more useful in PvP if you are wanting to try it
It's probably the best sidearm, period. Rat king is second, and I love the gun, but it isn't a close second. Travelers Chosen can now work with so many things, such as Veritys Brow, Nezarecs Sin, Mantle of Battle Harmony(provided you play warlock for these 3) and match game. It's always been good, but the catalyst really put it on everyone's radar and it makes me so happy.
@@alpstinger5083 Depends on the build and the content. Witherhoard is overall better do to the insane ad clear and tick dmg you can proc with it that combines with other debuffs and buffs (correct me if I'm wrong) while Traveler's Chosen is more for builds that need ability regen like crazy.
When the kiosk first came out, i got the free Ascendant Shard, and seeing as i had most exotics in the Red War slot (no dlc) i was torn between Sleeper or Rat King, since i didnt have enough mats for Sleeper and it was worse than other stuff, i got Rat King. I regret it every day.
My personal tier list for PvE would be S Tier - Witherhorde, Ticuu's Divination (seasonally), Sleeper Simulant (seasonally) A Tier - Eriana's Vow, Devil's Ruin, Le Monarque, Anarchy, Izanagi's Burden, Whisper of the Worm B Tier - Ruinous Effigy, Tarrabah
Ruinous effigy is my favorite weapon of all time for both pve and pvp. I had a 0.7 kda in pvp until I brought it in there. I'm rocking a 1.9 kda now. The thing slaps cheeks.
I have a build that uses Ruinous effigy as a primary weapon so I can use double special. It can be a devastating powerhouse if you know what your doing.

Personally my favorite exotic, not even from the kiosk, is witherhoard. It does some much damage to bosses, can clear our rank and file enemies by just shooting in down before they spawn and has built in auto-loading holster with the catalyst. It is my default exotic to choose when I don't know what to bring. Even though it costs silver, the new skin for it too was an instant buy for me. Hands down the best skin to me.
I’m a very avid user of outbreak perfected, I got that damn thing when the quest was still active, and I got the catalyst too, that shit is so good in pvp, 1v2, no problem, headshot kill one dude and the next one is pretty much dead. It’s not the best, it usually 3-bursts, but I’ve gone in countless sprees in regular casual crucible, and I’ve used it to my advantage with a buddy in trials. In my opinion people still underrate it, and I’m sad because I don’t see it used as much today.
my favorite exotic is heir apparent, then ticuus divination, then vex mythoclast, then outbreak perfected, then travelers chosen, then thorn, then devils ruin, then witherhoard, the duality, etc.
In my humble opinion Ticuus and Le Monarque are high prio for GM’s and solo Lost Sectors and you can swap these out for Mida and Devils Ruin. Also I think the sparrow is of exteme high prio purely for all the time it saves over the entire game.
I disagree with Ticuu's Divination being low priority if we didn't had Overload bow this season, with the infinite ammo buff this exotic can perform top tier as an add clear and dps option if you have the catalyst, it shreds in PvE and if you're a bow player and don't mind not focusing on PvP that much, I'd put this 100 times over Le Monarque
@@sayarimamani3605 I think trinity with catalyst is better personally, more kills for the same or less effort for pure ad clear. But they perform very similar functions so it's just your favorite flavor of space genocide
so, I main le monarque, so I might be biased here, but le monarque should be high priority,,, if you see someone slaying with a bow in any lobby, nine times out of ten it's le monarque (the extra one time would be a well-rolled swashbuckler biting winds, because those oneshot arrows are hella fun). It does definitely have the learning curve, but I encourage anyone to pick it up and try it out, see if you like it.
I know it sucks for endgame content, but *I LOVE RUINOUS EFFIGY* With the catalyst it rocks. Also dunking enemy guardians always feels so satisfying. But it works great with stasis melee builds and for most things outside of endgame content it melts. In Gambit it is a beast, abd you can invade successfully if the other team is busy with blockers, them orbs melt anything that you encounter at CQC. Just know when to go full ape or dunk intelligently.
I'd highly recommend Rat King. Being able to turn invisible on any class can make for some really good and fun builds. Plus the invis lasts for enough time to get out of a bad situation in both pve or pvp.
Sleeping on ruinous effigy, that thing carried us through legendary Astral and some gms. Bad Juju is a great option for campaign missions and singeplayer stuff although not remotely meta. Meta for easy content lol
Here’s a tip for hawkmoon which wasn’t included! Hawkmoon is a really good all around starter exotic hand cannon, it also helps improve aim since it’s exotic perk requires headshots/High accuracy shots, try it with lucky pants also!

Ticuu's is exceptional in Gambit at clearing zones and killing blockers from afar. I easily get 70+ combatants per game with minimal effort. It dominates in lower and mid tier PVE content where it's average damage per shot is enough to one shot, and it also puts in hella work on lost sectors. I'd easily put it right beside the monarque in terms of usefulness in PVE. Standing at max range in Mars/Venus on Gatekeeper with warlock stasis turrets and Ticuu's feels like the easiest tower defense game you've ever played.
Ruinous Effigy is fun for pve, my only wish is they bring back the synergy it had with Stronghold. I know it was a bug and was unintended but it was some of the most fun I've had and it gave me a reason to use the Stronghold, plus it wasn't even overpowered, just good.
@Slush the area of effect block with the orb would count as blocking with a sword causing strongholds perk to activate, greatly reducing damage and gaining health from damage taken
I legit have no idea why they have the purple legacy weapons. I bought one before for a lot of glimmer then realized I couldn't even use it cause it has a power cap. But why sell it then?
Started playing 3 weeks ago. I got in order Fellwinter's, Ace, Witherhoard, Bastion, Eriana's, Sleeper and Jotun. Wondering what to get next so video was perfect, pity it was pre recorded and doesn't take into account the new season mods.
Either way if you want boss dmg grab sleepers of you want a PvP weapon and are on console I would say last word if your a pc PvP player I like le monarque

Makes me feel good that my two main weapons, and first acquisitions, from the monument are the first two weapons you listed. I've been a wither main for so long and damn if that auto reload isn't the best thing ever. Quick note, you can only have two wither dots active at once, but you can only have one pool of aoe. This means you can hit an enemy to have them take DoT and then throw a pool underneath them to double the DoT effect
Travellers chosen is a top tier for me in pve now it has a catalyst with full auto and osmosis so more abilities also a few extra rounds in the mag it’s worth the exotic slot especially for stasis supers i usually use tc null composure and acendancy don’t let anyone tell you you have to have the best stuff in the game I find it boring as cayde said every guardian has there own story make yours your own
Ah yes, because a new player should definitely invest their hard-earned ciphers based on a temporary mod that might never return instead of something that's just always good and never bad. /S
@@Handles-Suck-RU-vid it takes a new player 1 season to aquire most exotics. So yea spending your first couple cyphers on weapons that will make you more powerful in the moment is a good strategy.
