I got to it, I finally got to watch it... and I must say that the intro was exceptionally well done. good job mate and I may just get one of those for the box. I'm a huge promoter of my lures for flathead of coarse but I agree 100%, the best lure in the world won't perform the best on EVERY day, you have to have options, if not you aren't a fisherman but a sales rep... lol
Took me a while to work out the tool/options thing. I would find a lure that worked for me, then buy like 50 that were almost all the same, with slight variations. Really didn’t offer more options, just lots of lures I didn’t need.

Maybe but the thing that changes it is your use of Australian slang. You should start each video with “ok today we’re at...Coffs Harbour....Mallacoota” and so on. You do make excellent videos...love your style. 10/10

I haven't done nearly enough saltwater fishing in my life! I have hooked a flathead once, I got it right up to the beach and then in an attempt to land the big beast, I lifted it's head to put in the lip grips and it shook the hook. After the fact I was told that they are notorious for getting off if you lift their head like that LOL. Oh well, the best way to learn is from experience so they say! I reckon the second best way to learn is watching this video. That was a really interesting lure design, it seems to work really well! Beautiful flatties mate nice catches
Yeah, I love to chase flatties because they are so keen on taking lures, always in with a good chance. In the US I target Large Mouth Bass for the same reason, and I suspect that's why so many people in VIC love Redfin fishing. They seem to be aggressive and love taking lures. It's funny, you have only caught one flathead, I have only caught one Redfin, and it was about the size of a keychain.
@@marxfishing I'd love to go largemouth fishing one day! They do seem to behave quite similarly to redfin actually. Maybe one day I'll take you out to get some bigger redfin, and you can take me out to get some flatties!

Yeh, it’s similar to the 4 inch soft plastics I use. The prawn has a little bit more bulk to it, and a totally unique action. The week I made this video was the first time I even used it, proceed to get all my best fish on it that week.
