Thanks Mate. It was one of those easy/smooth edits, the ones that just seem to come together without much effort, then you end up wondering why it can't be like that every time. I have hooked the fish on the demo twice too... It might be that slowing down, and focusing on demonstrating the technique, is actually increasing the odds of catching a fish.

Where you using a sounder when you said their was a channel, also where did you get the plastics from. And where was it you cought those 50cm flatties. Thanks marx
Some of the good Flathead were caught just outside the maritime restricted area, near the commercial docks. Others were caught drifting the spoil ground out from those same docks. Plastics are from Jiggle Fishing: jigglefishing.com.au - the worms were tested and developed by Lincoln (Land Fish TV) and myself. We have now caught countless fish on them, and if my life depended on catching a fish in Port Phillip or Corio Bay, that would be the only lure I would use.
Yeah, I do, for snapper I will sound looking for fish arches. For flathead I mainly look for broken ground, and watch the depth. I drift fish mostly though, which also allows you to find the fish. I also use an app on my phone called Navionics, I mark the spots I catch fish, overtime you build a map of the hot spots for different species.
