My wife and I are enjoying this one a lot.They recommend paring the cards down for a two player game, so we generally remove thirteen cards from each deck.I would suggest trying at least the Praetor and Consul expansions.If there ever is a second edition, you are both right - the cards need to be bigger.

This game looks interesting, but it's $100 on Amazon and not available through CoolStuffInc. Maybe the price will come down as distribution increases.

It did look an interesting game but boy did it sound complicated,then again i might just be stupid.
