The fresh water will have been rotting the hell out of the system, hence why it's orange, the sensor is probably full of gunk.

My tip is never to leave the aav open after venting the pump, it's only there for commissioning!

👍🏽 good tip but on the flip side if customer drains heating system to carry out repairs the boiler may not vent all the air out

@@PlumbingDoctors My point is, if the customer doesn't know how to properly refill a heating system, they deserve all they get! Not disconnecting the filling loop is another issue.
