A compilation of all the times Go Mifune/Speed Racer showed up in other anime. (Fun Fact Katsuji Mori the original VA for Go Mifune actually reprises his role in Yatterman (2008) which is the second clip featured in this video)
Also Sorry for the last clip being quite short, I originally included more footage from that appearance but the vid kept getting copyrighted so that no one could see it so I had to cut that part down

If Tatsunoko does another Speed Racer reboot based off the 1967 anime, I'd love to see Speed drawn in the Yatterman 2008 style (also a coincidence that Yatterman 2008 came out the same year as the live action Speed film). Also for the racing scenes, I'd love to see them inspired by the Initial D Legend trilogy. Mach 5 with Initial D Legend style racing would be awesome.

from what I recall, Speed Racer/MachGoGoGo is a total dud in Japan, while it was popular in America. It certainly has left more of an impact in the states, I must say. Hopefully, we do get something! I feel like there's at least some potential with characters like Snake Oiler, or maybe even importing some from the movie like Gray Ghost, who was gonna have a larger role.

@@machgogogoclips415 Yeah but Speed has experience rebuilding the Mach 5, remember when his son destroyed it on accident but supposedly beyond repair? Yeah it was seen again later in the series.

0:50, now this, THIS is the Speed in a reboot we SHOULD of had, LITERALLY the ORIGINAL character, and not all these bootlegged redesigned versions of him and the others from X, Restart, and Next Generation, for real, we need the original characters from the original to come back, why they didn’t pick up on this with him only being a cameo I’ll never understand. )

To be fair Speed NEVER used those abilities to cheat in races, only to save his life, or to save the life of another driver, the english dub has Speed nearly obsessed with fair play.
