hey you know how some scales are 3nps or 2nps or arpeggio are 2 1 2. does anyone if that major scale fingering has a classification like that? I've played it all my life and it always is the most comfortable and wondered if there was boxes that took the major scale up the neck, like if this was box 1, what are the other boxes fingerings, etc.
Thanks again Tomo for sharing, for me alternate picking really takes practice to the point where you don't have to think about it so much, which takes some practice so your not down strokeing or up stroking all the time. What really got me going when I was young was watching great players double picking for speed I always thought their note fingers were moving super fast but it was the alternate picking that was doing it! Great video thanks again for sharing!
Hello, and thank you for making instructional videos. I usually practice major scales with 3 notes per string patterns. What are the disadvantages of practicing the 3 note per string scale patterns compared to practicing the more standard 5 boxes patterns? Thanks again.
Hi tomo love your videos!❤️ I had a question! At the start you showed your thumb position, it was static and wasn’t moving. I usually move the thumb a bit down when i go down strings, is it ok?
Tomo Sensei, I grown with an anchered right hand, I floated it a little, but I accustomed myself to pick with the little finger anchored to the body and my palm slightly on the bridge. But this year I put my attention to my technique. How can I to become better with my right hand technique? I don't get the right position yet to do triplets in 120bpm to 180bpm without feel tension in my arm and shoulder.
