Today we are taking a look at every villain and monster from the original He-Man filmation cartoon from 1983-1985. I only included the main villains along with the main monsters. There are tons and tons of monsters here and there so I only included the MOST popular monsters in the list. Let me know if I forgot any!

It’s great to see all villains in one video. But shows how limited they were for voice actors as so many villains sounded same

it was ok.. could have been more expansive but I still enjoyed the 2 seasons of the He Man 2002.. the fight scenes were over the top and cheesy, but the story arcs, especially season 2, I really enjoyed.. they could have made it even more robust tho..

@@soramirez5473 Yeah, I thought the '02 reboot was pretty cool. The style looked really nice while staying faithful enough that you could recognise everyone. Some really cool stuff like the origin of Skeletor as well!

You're 100% right. The 2000s reboot had better animation but the 80s toon had better storylines, voice actors and everything else!

The roars of the beasts and monsters are so intense! Scared the crap outta me as a kid. Also, funny how all the characters seem to be handled by 3 or 4 voice actors.

Always surprising how many of the one off villains (mostly the ones that don't talk) that were inspired by Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. Yog for example comes to mind. But yeah, Lord Todd...LOL

I have to say, these names are _fantastic._ "Lord Todd" in particular, screams, just.... *top shelf* villainy (^-^) All joking aside, awesome job combing through He-Man episodes and assembling this list! Man is it crazy to see them all together. Muscle Men, animal-people, dragons, robots, grim reaper-looking dudes, completely alien monsters.... jeez louise; He-Man had some varied character designs.

Nice job. He-Man was my favorite series when I was a kid. I remember finding Molkrom very scary for some reason. Merman was probably my favorite main villain, and I also love the Shadow Beasts.

Skeletor and Evil-Lyn. Don't remember Shokoti but she seems awesome. Do a vid on her. There were a few other cool ones in the list too many to post about. Good vid. :)

@@discochoir Shokoti appeared in only one episodoe "House of Shokoti Part II." It was the only two-part He-Man episode. The first part deals with her minion Lord Masque awakening her. It was a very cool storyline.

I’ve been searching for such a long time for this one particular episode and could never find it because I couldn’t remember the name, but this showcasing of beasts triggered my memory and gave the name! (Energy Beast). Thank you so much! This was extremely helpful and saved me a lot of time and frustration! Instant subscriber. I also loved the unboxing of MOTU toys post.

He-man was my jammy back in the day. On tv, the big screen and a massive collection of the toys. I had “Moss-man” and he even smelled like pachouli. Damn I wish I had that stuff still. The only cool toys I still have from my childhood is a giant tote of LEGOs. There are some in there that are probably 35 years old.

All those guys from The Fright Zone (sure they were in She-ra but they showed up on He-man every now and again) were some of my favorites but my all-time was Merman.

I wonder how many D&D gamemasters incorporated some of those monsters and villains into their quests. Molkrom, Yog, the Sleeping Beast, The Crimson Scourge, and Kraal seem perfect as really nasty foes for any fantasy RPG.

Malcroum the demon horse was one of my favorite villain monsters I'm He-Man cartoon. Only showed up in one cartoon one of the earliest in the series. But my all-time favorite human villains will always be Skeletor

The crimson scurge was my all time favorite villain in he-man but also I love its roar. It's kinda like a roar or howl of some sort, it's the same roar as the drakadon, sand monsters, tentacle snake monster, legendary sea monster etc. I've been trying find the sound effect to the scurge roar/howl but have had no luck in finding it. If anyone finds the roar plzz let me know

I always liked Shokoti's name. It was definitely unique. Also in re-watching the Classic He-Man episodes when Netflix aired them, I saw Lord Tyrin and Lady Valtira as energy vampires, due to the way they obtained their energy and how they used their powers.

I made the mistake of looking at 0.1 seconds of the 2018 series and had my entire childhood deficated in it's mouth. Bless you and thank you SO MUCH for showing the true and only he man (blessed be his name) canon that ever existed, and not that god awful 2018 abysmal, shit fest.

Gotta love me some Skeletor 👌 I’m honestly surprised by how many of these I didn’t know. I normally only watch the episodes with Skeletor in it because otherwise I get kind of bored 😅
