it's very interesting because in the last game even tho the engine said white has an advantatge, to my eyes, black has every piece atacking and thats very scary, and yeah, as it turned out black was able to convert into a winning endgame. Human play > engine play.

Have not explored the game 18 to its entirety but even with the white bishop sacrifice at g7, the black king can still escape using the a flank; b5, a4, b3 ???

The engine seems to disagree. You always have a check you can throw which keeps the king up the board. If you have a specific line for the king that escapes I would be happy to look, but when the king moves towards the a-b-c files, you always check on b6, so it must stay to the right. I think it is drawn!

hello chess geek i know I'm like a year late but thanks for the dragon Sicilian master class it helped me a lot but something that happens is e4 c5 nf3 d3 they play nc3 i play nf6 bf4 g6 o-o what do i do or what better thing to do when they don't play opened Sicilian in between. if there is a specific opening name please let me know and i will study it. thanks

Hey, thanks for the comment! --> When white chooses a closed sicilian system (dont go for d4), you have many options. Often, if you like the g6 dragon setup, its best to keep with that setup for consistency. You usually try to expand on the queenside (a5, b5, b4, etc.) and white tries to attack on the kingside. It does get a little dangerous. Alternatively, you can use non-dragon-like systems against the closed. So instead of g6, you can go for e6 based setups. It is largely a matter of preference!
