Don't get me wrong I freaking love complete saga, I played it a lot when I was 8 year old on my Ipad (I am 14 year old now btw). But I think skywalker saga did a lot of things better than complete saga, of course it has less bugs than the og and the levels are shorter, but the combat, the gameplay and the exploration are way better, and seriously, just because ss doesn't have the charachter creator it doesn't mean its worse than cs. I prefer ss because is more free roam and it has a lot of side quests and puzzles, I found anoying that complete 100% of cs and more fun do 100% in ss. Anyway, that's just my opinion, you like what you like. Great video as always.👍
@@QuickBrickGames I just don’t understand how 1 and 2 are at the bottom of the list and TCS is at the top of the list despite being basically those two games.
6. Force Awakens - Very bland and forgettable game. Drab art style, empty hub worlds, and some boring levels, and a really good character roster overall. The character roster definitely carries it for me, but as a whole it just feels like a downgraded version of Skywalker Saga. 6/10 5. LEGO Star Wars The Video Game - I don't remember ever owning this game, but it's pretty much the prequel stuff in Complete Saga with Dexter's Diner instead of the Cantina. Even though you could argue that this game is just a downgraded version of Complete Saga, I still love the prequel stuff in that game and I definitely prefer it over The Force Awakens. 7/10 4. Original Trilogy - I actually remember playing this game years ago before owning The Complete Saga so not only does it have an extra factor of nostalgia, but I think the OT content in Complete Saga is just better than the prequel content as the levels are far more detailed. You can even get all the prequel characters in the game through DLC to. 7/10 3. The Clone Wars - This is when we get to the LEGO Star Wars games that are truly amazing. Despite the really lackluster port on Steam, I still think that this is one of the top 10 best LEGO games for sure. It has amazing levels, much better lightsaber combat than Complete Saga or Force Awakens, a great character roster that has pretty much everything you could want in a Star Wars game, and a really neat hub world. 9.5/10 2. The Skywalker Saga - This game is kind of a mixed bag, but overall I think it turned out really well. To get the negatives out of the way, the DLC was pretty lacking compared to the Star Wars game that came before it, the free play is pretty terrible in a lot of the levels and the campaign as a whole was really weighed down by the obnoxious open world content and story elements, as a lot of the levels can feel like playable movies at points which I don't really care for. The lack of a character creator is also pretty embarrassing and their excuses don't really make sense. There is also some missed potential in certain aspects, but that's always gonna come when you have a game this big with so much potential. In terms of what it gets right, there's plenty of memorable and amazing levels to outweigh the bad ones, the character roster is phenomenal especially when you buy all the DLC packs, and the open world is one of the best in any LEGO game. I wish there where more enemies that could spawn, and I would've handled the space stuff and vehicles much differently, but I still think the planets are fantastic for the most part and give plenty to explore. I could honestly make an entire video review of this game, but it's still one of my favorite games of all time despite it's big list of issues. Maybe my favorite game of 2022 depending on how I feel about Sonic Frontier and Gotham Knights when I get to those eventually. 10/10 1. The Complete Saga - This game isn't technically as good as Skywalker Saga and it definitely reaches way lower lows with some of the levels, but I still slightly prefer this one for having more memorable levels overall and actually having a character creator. This game is easily up there with Half-Life or Super Mario 64 as being one of the most iconic games ever made, even if you don't like it, you can't deny that. This was definitely one of my greatest childhood games and that nostalgia factor is definitely one of the main reasons why it's so high. On top of that, I think the character roster is still really solid and the inclusion of Indiana Jones was really cool. I kinda go back and forth between this and Skywalker Saga, but I decided to go with this game. 10/10
Genuinely think #1 is the clone wars, its legit the one ive replayed the most its just so fun 2 as complete saga 3 as skywalker 4 as force awakens (its the last REAL lego star wars game tho, skywalker was not a lego game in my opinion, levels took a backseat and the new ui is bad)
Here's my ranking: 6 and 5: The original and original trilogy. Never played these games. 4. The Force Awakens. Never played this one either. These ones, I have no interest in playing, since the top 3 pretty much include all the major content for them. The top 3 are all top tier games for me, so it's hard to rank them, but I'd have to say: 3. Complete Saga. This game honestly got me into Star Wars and was my childhood. Because of that, I wanna put it at number 1, but in terms of the game itself, it can't go any higher. 2. The Clone Wars. I'm a huge Clone Wars fan, so this was almost number 1. The battles are can get repetitive, and there are no voice lines like Skywalker. But besides that, it's just an amazing and fun game. And having Republic and Separarist ships as the hub was just brilliant and amazing, I think the biggest hub Lego Star Wars has. (If you dont count Skywalker saga being open world). 1. Skywalker Saga. This game has tons of stuff to do, is open world, runs smoothly, and has all 9 movies. Combat is great, the puzzles get annoying but I pay to skip those, and I find hunting the collectibles pretty cool. My facorite part about this game is the fact that the Prequel characters have their CLONE WARS voice actors! Anakin, Obiwan, Padme, Dooku, Grievous (tho his is the same as the movies), the Battle Droids, Palpatine, and most importantly, THE CLONES!!! That alone makes this game goated, I love the Prequel content because it's so Clone Warsy! Clone Wars to me just makes the Prequels much more enjoyable (tho Episode 3 is my favorite SW movie). However, the game is completely missing the ground Battle of Geonosis, and the space Battle of Coruscant, and the Complete Saga had both of them (however the Geonosis Gunship mission was awful). I like large battles, so it sucks that it's missing those. Besides those, I think some levels like the Death Star trench run are a massive improvement, and them releasing skins for characters in other shows and movies is amazing. Playing as Ahsoka, Rex, and Cad Bane from the Clone Wars is goated.
Here’s mine, excluding the first two _LEGO Star Wars_ games, as RuggedEagle does the same: #4: _LEGO Force Awakens,_ as the only problem I had with it was “The Resistance.” It’s not that bad, it could’ve done a little more. I feel like it’s forgotten among many LEGO game fans, but the single movie game campaign was a nice change of pace. #3. _LEGO Clone Wars,_ as there are some great levels in it. The flight missions and most of the ground assault missions are top-tier, as you can farm vulture droids for studs. They contain a big True Jedi requirement, but the score multipliers make up for that. #2. TSS, as I didn't have a lot of problems as far as bugs go. It would still be nice to fix Rex’s blaster bolts. I was happy with the lack of voice lines for the DLC characters, as _LEGO Marvel 2_ did the same. Despite all its pros, there’s one game that takes first place. #1. TCS, as, again, it not only just edges TSS out of the top spot, but it’s the first LEGO game I owned. Plus, I agree with everything you said about TCS.
My ranking is 1) The Skywalker Saga 2) The Clone Wars 3) The Complete Saga 4) The Videogame 5) The Force Awakens 6) Original Trilogy However I understand your ranking, great video!
@@QuickBrickGames I didn’t like the original trilogy levels, they felt too drawn out and less exciting plus the characters in the prequels were more fun to use. Plus I have no nostalgia for the OT game
Im satisfied with clone wars placement even tho I absolutely loved that game (nostalgia) But the reaosn why is becouse its no skywalker saga or complete saga but its in my opinion very good
My rankings would be: 6. Lego Star Wars The Original Trilogy 5. Lego Star Wars The Video Game 4. Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens 3. Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga 2. Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars 1. Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga I 100%’d TFA, TCS and TCW throughout the 2 years leading up to the Skywalker Saga and this is where I currently stand. I think that the reason I put TCS so low is because of how much I’ve played it. Each playthrough, the levels have started to get really old around the 3rd or 4th playthrough. I absolutely love The Clone Wars especially since I am a huge fan of the show. I also still enjoy playing the ground battles as long as I don't play all of them in a row. I hope one day TT Games comes back to the Clone Wars to make a game for more than just the first 2 seasons. I am loving the Skywalker Saga so far and am only 75% of the way through it. Your arguments for it being #2 below TCS are some of the most sensible ones I've seen since TSS came out. I personally didn't use the character creator much and have not experienced any game breaking bugs up to this point so those two things don't negatively affect my personal rankings. I also enjoy playing through the open world way more than I enjoyed the levels, so I almost don't mind the levels being shorter than the TCS. As a lover of the Borderlands franchise, I feel like TSS almost feels like a Lego version of borderlands and that might be why I enjoy it so much. I'm interested to see if I will enjoy TSS as much after the first play through.
I'd get rid of the Level challenges in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, add the character creator and allow you explore a lot more for each planet while including much more content.
6 lego Star Wars the video game The game is super outdated and the lack of the customer is really lame the graphics are bad and it’s not open world enough 5lego Star Wars the original trilogy This one is really bad despite the customer being there We have so limited options for our custum characters and the graphics can be better than that 4 lego Star Wars the force awakens the single movie concept is pretty interesting but the problem is the fact that it’s not how they do it’s normally 3 lego Star Wars the complete saga The lack of the sequels is super outdated and the linearly is bad now a days 2 lego Star Wars 3 the clone wars having ground battles is interesting and it’s something i would want for the future 1 lego Star Wars the skywalker saga i know i want the customization feature to come there as DLC but if we dismiss it we have some really good seasonal skins and i love seasonal events and we also have a concept art who came to life known as Luke Starkiller that’s pretty dope I hope we can see more seasonal skins and concept art in the future also seasonal skins and concept art are 2 things i asked for
I enjoy the Skywalker Saga. I also enjoy the Complete Saga. It's honestly hard for me to pick a favorite. TSS and TCS both have their ups and downs. If I'm being blunt, both games can get a bit boring at times. Especially TCS. And TCS doesn't have the best combat and the Jedi force puzzles can get repetitive for me. TCS overall has more stuff going on in the levels, so it's enough to get me through even if at times I don't find the level design to be remarkable. It just feels slow to me. It's hard to describe, honestly. But it does have other cool stuff to do like online multiplayer, bounty hunter missions, etc. But TSS easily has better combat and its clear that a lot of love has been put into it with character interactions, and just the world itself. Yeah, the levels are short (Questionably short at times), but I've still enjoyed myself with the main campaign. And exploring the galaxy, doing missions and collecting Kyber Bricks can be fun. However, despite that, I do feel like there's way too much when it comes to earning 100% and there are indeed some baffling omittions like online play and the character creator. To summarize everything, I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite. I enjoy both games, but they have aspects about them that I don't really approve of and I don't know if I can say I would rush to play one game over the other.
I think a lot of people feel the same way. Skywalker Saga could have been better than Complete Saga, just has a few too many things holding it back imo. Thanks for the comment!
There is one thing I want to say that is after the Skywalker Saga looking back at The Force Awakens that game has not aged poorly but it doesn’t look as good if you compare the Skywalker Saga to the Force Awakens.
Here's my ranking: 6: Lego Star Wars The Video Game 5: Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens 4: Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy 3: Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars 2: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga 1: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Even tough i have never played lego star wars: the video game, i would put it above original trilogy, simply beacuse it is more special beacuse it was the first lego game to start of the tt games lego game area. And Skywalker saga kinda is not good in my opinion beacuse there are so many cutscenes, that it is more of a movie than a game.
I love the open world and the characters but the levels just aren’t that fun, playing it I just wanted to skip the missions and go straight to the free roam
Here's my ranking: 6: Lego star wars the force awakens 5: Lego Star wars 2 4: Lego Star wars 1 3: Lego Star wars 3 2: Lego Star wars the complete saga 1: Lego Star wars the skywalker saga
best part of the combat in Lego SW III is that when attacking with a lightsaber, the characters can walk at a consistent pace while doing so. In the Lego SW games prior, you could only move while the character was swinging their lightsaber, and the enemies would also slowly step backwards while attacking you, but fast enough so that you couldn't reach them while simultaneously moving and attacking. So Jedi slam was always the best way to get through enemies in those games, but it doesn't beat the satisfaction of spamming the attack button and mowing down enemies like you can do in Lego SW III
I knew the combat felt better in LSW3 in some way, and you just identified what it was! The characters not getting slowed down when attacking is exactly it. Thanks!
My ranking: 6. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga 5. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars 4. LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game 3. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy 2. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awekens 1. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Skywalker Saga and Clone Wars are very boring and everything that happens there is repetitive I don't know what their marvel is
Here's my ranking: 6: lego star wars 1 5: lego star wars 2 4: lego star wars 3 3: lego star wars the complete saga 2: lego star wars the force awakens 1: lego star wars the skywalker saga
Not going to rank the games, as I don't have TSS yet. I'd probably put LSWIII higher than TCS, though, because I feel like the bonus stuff in TCS overstays it's welcome more than the bonus stuff in LSWIII. I haven't 100%ed either (despite owning them practically since launch), but I find TCS's bonus modes like Super Story and Challenge Mode much more tedious and unfun than LSWIII's ground assaults, which I find actually fun (and can always cheese with Super Speeders if it gets too hard). 5:00 - LSW:TFA actually lets you use the right trigger button to shoot your blaster. This works well, since you are only really using the lightsaber at close range, and the regular attack button should automatically switch to a melee weapon when you are in close range, similar to punching with characters like Han in LSWII. Unless you are playing the Wii U version, and player 2 is stuck with a Wiimote and Nunchuk because you don't have a Wii U pro controller. The Wiimote controls for that game are an afterthought; there aren't enough accessible buttons, so you have to use the 1 button to tag other characters (the usual C button got used for dodge rolls instead). Somehow my brother survived it 😅 6:28 - The Super Speeders red brick is IMO essential to 100%ing the ground assault levels outside of the main story. Some of the time limits are so strict that I'm not sure Tt playtested them without the cheat enabled.
Thanks for the comment! I always found the blaster/lightsaber combat a bit clunky. Seems like they don't always melee when at close range. And yeah, I think I remember that red brick now that you mention it!
skywalker saga is so bad not only story is mid at best collectibles are repeatable and boring and there is like a thousand of them also charatcter roster may be big but it is also extremely boring in my opinion by far worst lego star wars game
I agree. I’m currently playing the Skywalker Saga for the first time and I am disappointed. It looks great and has a good sense of scale. But what you actually do bores tf out of me, they need to raise the difficulty for adults.. heck, for real gamers. The skywalker saga does a good job at following the movies and has a few good ideas. But the actual levels have hardly any new ideas, and there’s no point in having HP bars, combos, and boss battles when the enemies are insanely easy even on single player. Like it might be good for 12 years olds, but the could have done so so much more with it. Why is it the only time NPCs fight back is during a level? Whyyyyy? I just wanna start battles but I always need a mission although this completely breaks the immersion of being in an open world. why did they add stealth in the most forced way imaginable (storm trooper outfits and awkward platforming)? The cyber bricks are boring to get and they’re all worth the same which is just to unlock useless/insignificant abilities. Like it’s fun to play for a bit-the levels are OK, but I feel like the studio tried way to hard to make a “lego game” instead a really fun game where the LEGO and Star Wars licensing places restraints on what can or cannot be animated. I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable if you had to go to spaceports to travel (no fast travel menu) and you also had to go to shops like Mos Eisleys to buy certain items. My favorites have to be lego star wars 1, 2, and the complete saga.
6. Skywalker saga, it’s not a freaking Lego game! 5. Star Wars the game. It’s the oldest and not that great honestly 4. Original trilogy. Same problem but we’re getting there! Does have some major problems though 3. Force awakens. great game bad story because they based it on one game 2. Complete saga. The og the goat the best game 1. Clone wars. I just personally really love this game, love the characters and the ground battles, it’s my favorite Lego game. (This is the correct list sir because skywalker saga is the worst game ever to exist period sir. It’s NOT A LEGO GAME!!!)
