We're basically out of colors for "Every Mario Game" so we're going to move on to the "Final Levels in Mario" as well as other games in the future. Thanks for watching!
I think it would be a neat idea to go through every mainline Mario game and have a randomizer choose what colour to avoid for every game! That way every time you play it still feels fresh
@@Kaylahisbroke Why did it count as an orange object then? Maybe because half the time it is orange-ish, but then if he even tried to be careful he would have noticed it.
Bathaniel: is in a room that is a different color Editor: HOLD ON, THAT ROOM HAD 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% ORANGE IN IT SO BATHANIEL FAILED
Oh, now I want to see how picky our editor will be -I can accept the SMB, but I would have been softer (expecially with SMBTLL, it does seem a bit darker) -Excuse me, isn't the bg color of the SM3DL arrow signs orange enough to be counted? -One thing for NSMB2: I DUNNO ABOUT THAT ONE, CHIEF. That doesn't seem orange. It's a slight dark yellow, but definitly not orange.
Oh Boy... That Mario 64 one got me. And Mario 3 was pure WHY? And then NSMB DS. That shouldn't have counted, as that seemed to be a completed file, with cheats?
@@ArceusBowser212 No, the SMB3 one was pretty legit. NSMB, he DID interected with the fireball, but I'll admit they should have tried to do it on a un-cheated version.
This series proves one thing, he can't actually tell what's orange or any color for that matter, plus some he doesn't even apply to show that it counts, because some were definitely brown or red, like the crow's beak was definitely red, and as someone who's favorite color is orange, frustrates me what he calls orange, plus don't even get me STARTED on the whole yellow is orange part, should just call this don't touch yellow or red part 2
yeah honestly wish he'd just do this challenge without using the pallet tool since most that will try this challenge will only play using their own judgement. Like to me none of the ? blocks should count, i really want to say the door in mario 64 shouldn't count since i feel like you could say it's a lighter brown color (though i guess it could be a shade of orange) then again he'd probably just count the ground in bomb bomb battlefield as orange so maybe he wouldn't have gotten that far. But yeah it is annoying when he does this in every video. I'd honestly like to see him just do videos that he tries to beat the whole game without touching the color (and again without the pallet tool) since it'd be more fun than seeing either him die and move on or counting something that shouldn't count as it just for the sake of video length
Orange seems like it’s literally the most subjective color in the color spectrum. It could be replaced by Brown or Yellow and I doubt anyone would give a damn because they’re basically the exact same thing.
You realize brown IS just dark orange, right? So just because something's on the 'orange' part of the colour spectrum, for the sake of the challenge that shouldn't necessarily mean its orange. 4:49 I would consider that brown, not orange. Sure, it's on the 'orange' part of the spectrum, but the actual colour is brown. If you're gonna be that picky then technically almost everything that's brown is orange, therefore you can't touch anything that's brown either.
the fact that brown is a shade of orange doesn't mean it makes sense to classify it as orange for the purpose of this video for the same reason that peach shouldn't be considered orange and white/grey/black shouldn't be considered every colour at the same time.
I’ve got an idea for a video: Every smash game but you can’t touch (colour) For some games, you’ll just have to win a game in smash mode, but for others you could do story modes like world of light or subspace emissary
NSMB2: orange shell! Also, you started the level with Tanooki, so probably you couldn't avoid the orange platform starting the game from zero with small Mario...
I have a suggestion for color challenges and the Mario Land games. If you load the game in a GameBoy Color, you can change the color palette, thus actually adding challenge to the games. I don’t know how you’d record that, but it’s an idea
Bathaniel, love your videos. But I am fully convinced that these specific challenge videos are very rushed. Now I understand that 18+ Mario games is a lot for just 1 video, but I can’t help but feel that you often try to touch the color you want to “avoid” as quickly as possible just to progress, when often times you’re *not even touching the color at all.* obviously you make awesome videos, but that’s why I don’t like these. They’re so… last minute in comparison.
I couldn’t agree more. It was especially disappointing he did one of these challenges for every Zelda game too. But I just want to see him enjoy some Zelda for a change. Don’t get me wrong I love Mario too but The Legend of Zelda is still one of Nintendo’s biggest ip’s. One of these days I would really like to see Bathaniel Nandy do some Zelda Randomizers. Because those Zelda Randomizers honestly look really fun to do. Because it basically turns games like Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask into an open world game where you just have to hope that whatever chest you open, whatever shop you buy from, whatever side quests you need to do and mini games to win it all relies on luck and hoping that you get an item you really need.
Bathaniel, I think you should still show super Mario land 1 and 2 because if you die then you lose so I think it would make sense to show it even though it’s just black and white.
That Star launcher has orange on it. What percentage of something has to be that color before it goes from having the color on it to just being the color?
Maybe you could do it in smash bros. Go into every adventure mode and if the character your fighting is the forbidden color, you can only do ranged attacks
